People suspected to be ESN gunmen killed the pregnant woman named Harira Jibrin(32) along with her daughters Fatima(9) Khadija(7), Hadiza(5), Zaituna(2) and at least six others.
The pregnant woman, her four daughters and their cotravellers were killed in cold blood at Isulo, Orumba North local government area of Anambra state.
Police in Anambra have confirmed the gruesome act and assured that they are hunting the murderers.
BBC interviewed the murdered woman`s husband one Jubrin Ahmed who confirmed that his pregnant wife and her four daughters were on their way back from a visit at Orumba North when they were gruesomely murdered in cold blood.
The Sarkin Hausawa of Ihiala Alhaji Usman Abdullahi, now in exile, confirmed the story. According to him no single northerner remain in Ihiala as all of them have fled the area as a result of persistent threat by the IPOB armed men.
