i wonder why some Nigerians are so gullible. since 2013 this topic has been created on Nairaland, you have not been employed or been satisfied with the infor you are getting here. and now, someone from another angle has come up by diverting your attention to a whatsapp group, and you guys are falling so easy to that with the aim of getting a genuine information from the so called whatsapp group. please i want to ask: does whatsapp group give a job? very soon, some of you will fall a prey to send some money into the account of some unscrupulous individuals. very soon, a bulk sms will be sent to those whose number has been collected through this rubbish whatsapp group, asking them to pay some certain amount to a particular account number for collection of uniform, documentation etc. and ones you receive such message, you guys will rush to your lord "whatsapp group admin" asking him to confirm the authenticity of the message you received, and he will say yes, it's true. go and pay. and you will stupidly go and pay the money. ones he has achieved his aim, you will be disconnected from the group. my brothers and sisters, i pity all of you dropping your numbers as if the Messiah is in whatsapp group. you better shine your eyes to avoid falling into a prey. i'm ok with the infor i get here on Nairaland, then i will also ask my contact what's currently going on in NSCDC, i will compare and contrast it with the one i read here. if it's a different story, then i will also post what my contact told me and ask you guys to verify the truth. meanwhile, i spoke with him yesterday, he said that some of those who were secretly trained last year has been dropped. they worked without ID card and no appointment letter issued to them. please anyone who is aware of this should verify. thanks.

So finally the list is out, I must confess psc really disappointed. I'm not sure psc followed federal character or even local govts by local govt in the recruitment of asps. It is unfair to most local govts / districts and I'm sure some local govts produced more than one slot if not they would have listed each LGA alongsides the names.

after applying check d bottom of d page u will find the post u applied for

MzQuaddrey is right, my question actually is dat how many days exactly after registration will it take b4 it gets approved? Coz I've submitted and gotten a pending status since close to two weeks now

I think only those qualified as earlier stated in their requirements were approved after cross checking I.e age, course, etc

FG to begin re-screening for 2000 Immigration recruits

ABUJA – The Federal Government has said it would from August 29 commence the re-screening of 2,000 recruits of the Nigeria Immigration Service NIS who were “dispersed” after being trained and issued employment letters in February last year.

Announcing this in a statement issued Monday in Abuja, spokesman of the NIS, Ekpedeme King said the decision was reached in the aftermath of an emergency meeting of the Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration, and Prisons Services Board (CDFIPB) on the 11th of August 2016.

The service however listed several guidelines for the screening of the applicants.

Apart from the necessary security clearance, they would also undergo a drug-test, certificate verification as well as the implementation of CDFIPB policy on “Age on Rank”.

Part of the statement reads;
“The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) wishes to inform the 2000 applicants for employment into the Service who were irregularly issued letters of employment in February, 2015 that the Federal Government has approved the review of the case.

“Following an emergency meeting of the Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration, and Prisons Services Board (CDFIPB) on the 11th of August 2016, the following guidelines were issued for the screening of the applicants:

“Consequent on the above, applicants whose names are listed in the NIS website: www.immigration.gov.ng are requested to report to the NIS Headquarters Abuja with their academic certificates, birth certificate, previous employment records (if any), indigene certificates (originals and photocopies), two passport photographs, and in batches according to the time-table”.

By the schedule, Assistant Superintendent of Immigration II, ASI2 (CONPASS 08) from all the states between Abia and Jigawa in alphabetical order would take their turn on August 29 while those that fall between Kaduna and Zamfara states would have theirs on August 30.

For Assistant Inspectors of Immigration, AII (CONPASS 06) those from Abia to Jigawa state would sit for the screening on August 31 while those from Kaduna to Zamfara would have theirs on September 1.

For Immigration Assistants IA1 – IA3 (CONPASS 3,4,5), those from Abia to Edo states would be screened on September 2, Ekiti to Kwara, September 3 and Lagos to Zamfara, September 4.

“The general public should please note that the exercise is not a call for fresh recruitment. Therefore, no application for recruitment should be forwarded to the NIS”, the service warned.

After the botched 2014 recruitment into the service the then president, Goodluck Jonathan, instituted a committee to assist the CDFIPB conduct a fresh recruitment. The exercise has since been bugged with controversies following the dispersal of the 2,000 fresh recruits at the advent of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

what is so special about this n.p.a fire service recruitment that had to be going all those stress.

amen. pls note that efcc has 6 zonal offices namely: Abj, Kano,borno,P.h,Lagos and Enugu. Abj zone is in charge of people from North Central, Kano is in charge of North West, borno is in charge of North East, port Harcourt is in charge of South South, Lagos is in charge of South West while Enugu is in charge of South East. so make sure u knw where ur state of origin falls in those zone before travelling. hope this little info help u get to ur destination. once again Gdluck!

to my understanding, if I saw my name on the list and didn't get a text, I will choose a particular date using information gotten from colleagues and also write the number in which my name appeared in the list and go for the screening. the bottom line is i can identify it as my name using valid ID card or I will call the number EFCC stated on the text message sent to others and lay my complain.gdluck

hi nairalanders. pls is there any one from Katsina who participated the screening of asp cadet yesterday should throw more light on how the screening took place.
secondly, I will like to knw if all those invited to be screen on the 6/6/16. we're all screen that very day or they grouped you guys with the large no. of asp invitees I saw on the list I'm still doubting if they can conclude with the list in one day.
pls I need an urgent respond from those that took their own yesterday .thanks

alot of problems my brother, my own case is that I just received an invite but the problem is i didn't sign my guarantor form and I'm very far from my state also I'm scheduled to be screen on 6/6/16 (Monday). pls is it possible for me to attend the screening without my guarantor form been sign? coz I don't want to start a very long journey and spending my money only to find out I'm disqualified.

this 100 people are training they were recruited 9to 10 yrs ago and they were trained at that time , they finished their training is posting only remind for them government stop paying them their allowances so as that they send the case to the house of representative, then the house send their names to NPA to call them for there allowance and post thems to continue the work. and the MD reject them.

This is the benchmark stage if you scale through this stage Definitely your a Confirmed NPA staff , Soonest NPA will contact successful selected Candidates for Medicals , Any candidate selected will receive a text message to report to a recognized medical Centre for his medicals checkup before coming to receive an Offer Letter so if you don't receive any message for medicals hummmmm thats O.Y.O. (On your Own) ohooo (Godforbid) May God Scale us through and #MayGodhelpusall

Your 28 years end by 31st December but as soon as it crosses to January 2017, you are 29.

Don't panic

I will be 28 by July yet I still apply so don't mind them just go ahead and apply federal character commission will question them as regards to age and certificate issue not statement of result.

Mr brother am not exchanging any words am just trying to correct him and I don't even bloody care of passing my information to him since I don't even knows him before and I don't beg him to believe me. If u want to communicate with me wattsapp me on 08099448140 but if anybody tell u all the people invited for interview will be all pick is a Lair (but I pray they call everyone ) the total number of Applicants text was about 390 Applicants and Number of Applicants present was about 238 Applicants but number of Applicants needed to be recruited is about 150 to 200 Applicants overall so how on earth do u think they can call all when some states even has 5 Bsc applicants for interview. My advice to everyone who conducted interview is let's be prayerful and to those that have God father's still pushing "It is not over until it is over " #MayGodhelpusall
