adconline: I was hoping to see some data from the governor, he presented none. Just IGR. Veracity of his claim that Ogun has more industries than Lagos? Folks have joined the bandwagon without citing any data. Politicians know that they are leading dummy folks and they always pander to our ignorance by making bogus claims. Show me facts not emotion/propaganda

PoliticsRe: Eko Atlantic Builds Iconic Boulevard Gateway To The Business District by aljharem(m): 12:15pm On Jun 29, 2013
edoyad: Personally, I think even those suya and local food vendors can be captured in the master plan. A food center/market of sort can be created, so tourists can have a taste of local delicacies. But it would have to be well planned with high standards for hygiene and what not set from the get go.

And for the dreaded "pure water" packs, the best way to tackle that is to have fully functional water system. Most Nigerian cities are littered with pure water packs because govt has failed to provide potable water. Not every one can afford to spend #200 every time they need a drink. There should be clean potable water available.
Good idea but not necessarily a market/food center. Few restaurants could be built where local delicacies would be sold there. Also whether there is pure water packs or not does not really matter so long as the maintenance culture is established I think EAC would be fine. Lawma is doing very well in Lagos now and I think they can handle such logistically problem EAC would face in terms of cleaning.

All in all there is only so much one can do, a commercial center would still be very difficult to maintain.

very embarrassing.
PoliticsRe: If Nigeria Breaks, The North Is Doomed – Yerima by aljharem(m): 7:44pm On Jun 25, 2013
kettykin: If Nigeria Breaks it is not only the North that is at risk, The middle belters will be at great risk of invasions by Northerners who would be very very restive.
While the South East will be under intense need for land for expansion and extension thisl would lead to constant friction with the Benue /Kogi axis and the Niger Delta.

The Niger Delta would be at bigger risk because of wars for domination and ownership of cities like warri , Portharcour and the Ilaje areas , big war if i may say.

The south West will face new risk of invasion along the Kabba axis and illorin axis while the outflow of foreign investment will turn Lagos into a worse city than Ibadan where riff raffs , touts and hooligans masquerading as Tinubu boys would take over everything with Investors pulling off what ever they can and relocating to Ghana and south Africa.
This would turn the South West in to the poorest zone in Africa
So all in all; from your post

North is doom

SW would be very poor

MB would be invaded aka in trouble

SS would be in Anarchy

SE would be the richest right ? undecided
PoliticsRe: Controlling Lagos' Borders... by aljharem(m): 12:53am On Jun 24, 2013
It is really impossible given the fact that Lagos is under a country called Nigeria.
