1. The writer talks of the North not being homogenous, well he is right only an ignorant person would say otherwise. 2. The poster Abubaka 101 was right. States like Kwara has 3 ethnic group in it with yoruba being the majority but also Nupe and Bariba. Fulanis in Kwara are now mixed with locals 3. Kogi has 3 ethnic group in it, yoruba, Igala and Igarra/Ebera. With Ebera in the central, yoruba west and Igala east. 4. Borno, Adamawa and even Bauchi have always had Christian indigenes. 5. Abuja is not Gwari land alone but contains about 5-7 ethnic groups which are Gwari, Nupe, Asokoro people, hausa, ebira etc 6. Delta state have 6 ethnic group, Ilaje (Yoruba), Ijaw, Itsekiri, Anioma (Igbo), Urhobo, Isoko 7. Rivers state Ikwerre, Ogoni, Ijaw, Opobo (Ijaw) 8. Lagos state has yoruba and Egun-Awori (Which i am part of) 9. Ondo has Yoruba, Ijaws 10. Imo state has Ijaws and Igbos 11. Anmabra state has Igala and Igbos that is all the information we need to know ie if you are really interested |
afam4eva: Please, answer my question.Afam4eva I am not here cause of you but cause of Andre uweh aka Ngohagha1 Again you would have to forgive me because you have decided to keep shut when Andre is on his high tribalistic moments so again either you talk to Andre or just simply ignore my post. |
Andre Uweh: Am a proud Imolite from Isinweke. I have even created a thread about my community in Imo state Check out:Dude mind your utterances. You keep talk about something you have no idea of. Shut it, I am not her to witch hunt Igbos but don't force me to go back to my original Moniker. Take time and respect yourself |
Andre Uweh come back, shebi you are mouthy ? |
Buchika: harem what is the difference between dialect and language.Dialect is an off-shot of a langauge While a language is a way of communication (At least that is what I am aware of ) Now would you call Agbor as Igbo speakers yes or no ? Certainly yes Are Agbors Igbo ? Certainly No |
afam4eva: If ignorance was a dress, you'll be wearing an agbada. Are you kidding yourself?I wonder why you not talk to Andre Uweh aka Ngohgaha when he was spewing out his rubbish ? I am not like this but I hate hypocrisy |
Andre Uweh: Am from Imo state and there are no Ijaws in Imo state. Tell me where you have the Ijaws in my state. Or tell me one Ijaw from Imo state. Imo state does not even share a border with any no Igbo group. Imo state is at the heart of Igboland and is called Eastern heartland.Shut it. You are not from Imo state but from Anambra. Imo have Ijaws in them, Imo shares boundaries with Ijaws in Rivers state get your fact right |
Funkymallam: Yoruba indigene of Lagos?Abi na, Ore mi |
Andre Uweh: Kudos to the writer of this article. The chap understands the south and the north very well and I suppose he is widely travelled. He even went further to address the issue of other tribes in South west and wrote about the non groups in the Badagry area. Why not go move them, if I start now they would say Alj harem does not like them. I am very well travelled and as said the writter addressed some issues but also needed to point out 1. the Ijaws in Imo, Ndoki and co 2. Igalas in Anambra 3. Ikwerres are not Igbos thus there are NO Igbos in rivers state 4. Agbors are not Igbos 5. Ikas are not Igbo 6. Anioma is not Igbo as well. I can keep going on and on. These are the group Ignorant Yorubas , Fulanis and Hausas might consider Igbos but I know better. The SE is very non-homogenous not to talk of others. Are Onitsha people Igbos or Binis ? That would be your assignment today. ![]() |
Rossike, thanks ![]() |
Johndoe100: Where do all these people crawl out from? A private city in Lagos? This must be in the republic of NL. Anyway leaving aside the deluded, the place will be just like every other upscale place in Lagos. I am sure they will ban non yorubas from there. That should keep it looking like London. Why and Why would you say that ? Is Lagos for yorubas alone ? Stop this bigotry already, I am Yoruba indigene of Lagos and Lagos is not from yoruba alone but for Nigeria. If you can afford to live there then by all means do ! What do you mean by ban non-yorubas from there ? Johndoe, you too dey disappoint me ! ![]() |
Yawns |
If it's not gbawe, if it's not aregbesola, if it's not Yoruba, Beaf will not sleep.
LOL ![]() |
Beaf: ^I just love the way you blab and troll. Now you whole goons are knowing you to be a tribalist but pretending Nationalist. Shebi the north are parasites ? Now it is the yoruba, later you would add Edo and finally to kill it all Itsekiri. Well it has all been planned out by Alj harem from the beginning you started your parasitic campaign. Slowing Ibibio would be your next target. I trust my igbo brothers to drop you at that point. It is who you are, embrace it and stop fighting it my friend. Our people say, A man that does not know who he is an ideeiot. Well I just helped you out ![]() |
wetin concern Gbawe with this ? |
Kobojunkie: Traded fuel subsidy and Nigerians so that Ngozi could be made world bank president? Where do you lay your head when you sleep? So, when Yar adua and Obasanjo each tried to remove Fuel Subsidy, what what the conspiracy then to? Gosh!!!No Kobojunkie, why did WB visit Nigeria at that period and why was she nominated months after the removal ? Is it all just coincident ? |
CyberG: Hahaha...wiki leaks might soon provide more insight, who knows??LOL @ Wiki I find it strange Months after the visit of the World bank president to Nigeria, Ngozi and GEJ suddenly realise to remove fuel subsidy then 2 months after than the world nominated Ngozi to be the world bank president. Hmmmmmmm very coincidental I must say. I think they were just used in the promise of the position and later dumped but of course they cannot let Nigerians know because of the shame of betrayal. Just my thought. |
Youhesh: Your comments only goes to show how unprincipled you are. If you can be so sentimental and biased on the international stage, then what stops u from doing the same in d national level when someone from your tribe is vying for a position - political or otherwise? My brother Well a lot of things would stop me from being biased on a national level 1. What makes Kim better than Ngozi ? Please care to answer / 2. You mean to tell me that there is no African qualified enough to be the president of the world bank ? I am not saying it is racism, far from it but I am talk about politics here. It is purely political that is why I supported Ngozi not because she is Nigeria (african/black as some of you would put it) persay but because she represents something very important in our current society. Final the most important points - The world bank president has no real power of her own. They all answer to Obama thus her or Kim have no real effect on the world on their own accord but that on which they are instructed. - Corruption is in every institution on earth so we cannot say because she is corrupt we should not support her. Is Kim corruption free ? - Trust me, both her and Kim past(job) does not matter, their corruption would easily be spotted and become a big scandal. Thus she cannot destroy have a negative impact on the world because the WORLD would not allow it. |
Dont blame me,blame Obama for not picking her.Btw,maybe she should come and contest for Nigeria presidency come 2015 to prove obama wrong that she is good to go.mada awon guys lohun jare,sa ma wo ntie.
I know but your utterance here is unhealthy and you know that right ? |
Youhesh: How do you expect Nigeria or Africa to progress with this type of sentiments. There is really no hope for Nigeria.Because in the international stage their is corruption !!! Yes in Nigeria I would not tolerate corruption but when been represented outside yes I would support |
Obama must pay for this. It's going to be do or die !
Bluetooth, o ti to, Is it not time we grow up a bit. Yes their are times you fun of things but not this. Bigotry would not take us anywhere my brother. |
manny4life: Although I did not see you talk to them, but if you say you did, I'll take your word for it.Go to the previous page, Yes I did and even used yoruba to talk to them. BTW thanks for your understanding. |
Nigerians it is time we start seeing the wider picture. Ngozi REPRESENTED NIGERIA and not herself. Thus those making a mockery of her are only displaying their stu.pidity to the world by laughing themselves. We better wake up and lets know a limit to our pettiness. enough said !!! |
manny4life: Let me ask you, bluetooth and Rhino making a caricature of the situation, is the best thing? The statement he made might not be the best, but please click on the politic section and see at least 5 threads opened about this woman, making a mockery of the situation. For how long will this continue? Like I previously stated, I'm really proud of her to have stood ground toe to toe to challenge the nominee of the U.S..But you see me trying to talk to them, why can't you do the same to the Igbo bigots as well. How do we hope to end tribalism on Nairaland when one side keeps trying to make peace and the other keeps insulting them or keep mute ? Rhino5dm has stopped, all that remains is bluetooth. I hope you could do the same to the other bigots. |
manny4life: Where in his post did you see he said Yorubas are part of the WBG?So I don't see why the mess he is calling Igbo this Yoruba that in a National Issue like this. Also I am surprise none of you ndigbo nairaland saw nothing wrong in his post ! In fact one ideeiot even supported his statement ![]() |
opribo: if she was Yoruba now all the media would have been siging her praises just because she is Ibo they were helping to drag her down even in her own country. Compare with her opponent that received massive support from his home country. Dont worry NOI, you have made your mark the world have seen and we Ndigbo are proud of you. No matter what happens we love you and we know oneday they will know who truly you are and what you represent to Nigeria, and as for those gullible Nigerians that were beefing you all you need to do to them is just simply remove the whole part of the oil subsidy let them taste a bit of their own medicine. ![]() Now Yorubas are part of World bank ? Obama is Yoruba ![]() I guess Rhino and Bluetooth were right when they have already started blaming themselves for it ![]() Every thing is Yoruba in Ndigbo eyes. Na wa for Nija o !!! |
