NorthSharp: But we should not fall for the fallacy of mistaking A PART of something for the WHOLE of that thing; unless someone somewhere can somehow prove that what we see in these few pictures represent the WHOLE of the road construction efforts of the Osun State Government, it is NEITHER LOGICAL NOR FAIR for anyone to ridicule the WHOLE of the road construction and rehabilitation efforts of the state government on the basis of this scanty pictorial evidence.Ok Northsharp and Gbawe, I hope you two are right. Thanks |
Nice !!! Would visit Onitsha soon ![]() Onitsha 1. Biggest Market in west africa 2. Fastest growing economy. Ihe nile di n’onitsha . |
oduasolja: you wish .LOL mumu or do yorubas not commit crime as well ?, you better keep thinking God Lagos is with it is and in fact would not be that without the collective effort of Igbos. Wake up !!! |
shymmex: Yes, I also believe in ONE NAIRA - but stop claiming what you're not.Ok truth Kanuri/ Ebira. Shey I fit rest now Egbon mi ? ![]() |
Just before I go, Mazi Onlytruth hhmmmmmm mee ya ofuma eze ndigbo. Don't be partisan evn in ala igbo ihe nile e zughi oke n ala igbo and you know it. We all need each other to survive thus you cannot be hating sections in the country and expect peace. |
Regardless of what and who Alj harem is, the fact is that he (Alj harem) does not care which group is which or who and where he is from as it is irrelevant to any discussion. Contrary to what most Igbo posters think, I have Igbo blood in me and I love the Igbo ethnic group like my own and I have been a strong defender of the Igbo course (check my post); but I would not allow some Igbo elements insult yorubas or hausa. Just like I would not allow Yoruba or Hausa or fulani to Insult Igbos (again check my previous post). How I wish my eastern brothers can read into my post rather than just attacking me all the time Yes Alj harem is the most hated Nairalander but I want to make something clear, I do not hate any group yes I might be teasing others at time or better still "revenge" But in reality hate is for those that have no life. I see what One Naira, Afam4eva etc write on NL even though I know them real life but what can I say, they are not like that real life.Lets disagree to agree. One Nigeria !!! |
Alj harem is Kanuri/ Ebira |
earthgreeners: Im a Yoruba,Fact. At least an Aljmajiri does not insult you in your land, neither does he claim to be more than you or better than you. Please let them know the reality on ground so they stop deluding themselves. |
But are they as ignorant as your worthless fathers who have rightfully denied you lepers education and healthcare, thus relegating you all to the Almajiri class that you rightfully belong in?
Dude why are you insulting me ? Am I wrong to say yes to Igbos ? Is it not clear that most tribalistic comments here are from Igbos thus it shows ignorance ? I am yoruba Lagosian (Awori-Egun) so stop insult northerner (almajiri). Please for the sake of objectivity, you know I did not say any thing that is wrong. Maybe you should talk to your brothers to change their ways and embrace unity rather than tribalism. |
maclatunji: certainly the SW and middle belt would not make the same mistake twice. Hopefully |
Callotti: Only 5 ministries should be allowed, gbammm !!! What is the difference in minister of aviation and minister of transportation ? Nija |
earthgreeners: Thanks manIgbo yes because most are ignorant, South-south why ? |
Also at the tribalistic silly posters here. ACN is not a representative of the yoruba ethnic group but a political party. Lets get our facts right. |
It seems like we have ideeiots in Nigeria, both defending Tinubu's party and those defending Dame Why the hell would the road be blocked for irrelevant things such as a visit or party ? Nigerians you all better start waking up ! All this tribal petty things would not take us anywhere. |
Beaf: Do you have more pictures?can you imagine, and some people would praise Aregbesola as a working governor ![]() |
iykay4455: So because one man objected you now generalize?Your sense of reasoning is incredible.I also know two agbor men who proudly say they are Igbos and speak IgboWhen Ngohagaha1 was doing the same, you did not castigate him although he was lying, Well at least mine is true. Well I guess you are right, One person does not speak for all !!!, Sorry if it anger you in any way |
odumchi: @AllThat would be interesting Would love to see fstranger as well as Rhino ![]() Good work, well done my brother nwannem ![]() |
One Naira, I actually found out that we know each other real life. I wonder why we disagree on political issues ? |
OAM4J: Nigeria and indeed many parts of the world have always been voting on sentiments such as ethnicity and I don't see that changing anytime soon, even though I also desire what you wrote.I think it is changing. I see Nigerians waking up to the facts on ground. Although the same cannot be said of the illiterate though who happen to be 75 % or so of the country; but we are getting there. ![]() |
Very good. People are slowly getting it. The title of the thread implicitly questions the notion that Nigeria is rich. Subsequent posts point out some of the reasons for poverty in Nigeria and itemize some problems that could be solved relatively quickly.
LOL, not to say Nigeria cannot be rich but when we have people like Beaf's Ideology you can be rest assured Nigeria would be poor. |
Brixtonyute: Alhaji, you need to stop this rubbish. Zoning is DEAD and BURIED! We need a NIGERIAN - and I don't care if he's WHITE/ARAB - as long as he can do the darn job, that's who the next leader should be.I did agree with you read my post. At the end of the day, Afam4eva and I are still on the streets looking for what to eat . Yes you are correct |
Nigeria is not rich ! |
not bad |
2015 is either North, GEJ or SE. Anyone is good so long as we can have a credible man. The suffering of an Igbo man is the same as the yoruba man which is not different from the hausa |
Callotti: Sounds like a good deal. All the best dear. What is wrong with a credible person who happen to be Igbo. We should do what we like to be done to us so their is nothing wrong with an Igbo man being the president. Roachas stands a good chance of winning anyday anytime, Quote me on that BTW the OP is not Yoruba nor Hausa. So please lets watch our comments |
hmmmmmm, |
dayokanu: For starters, Maybe you should tell us what Akala brought to the table in his first 11months and we compare with Ajimobi in the same time frame.Dayo, lets forget Akala for now. Akala is no longer in government now it is Abiola Ajimobi. Now what has Ajimobi brought to the table. Has he delivered his promise, yes or no Please outline them if you know of any |
Brixtonyute: The problem is that the Nigerian constitution is flawed! In a real federalism - the federal shouldn't be the one telling the states what they're entitled to - it should be the other way round. This clueless woman needs to shut the hell - how can you demand "fiscal federalism" - in a system, which operates everything BUT federalism - isn't that oxymoronic?Very good !!! Abeg tell this people o !! In a country where the senator collects a total of 106 billion in a year, it shows we are trouble |
Tropilo: @kobojunkie, Brixtonyute and co: its not fair to just criticize any or all statements or actions of Madam Ngozi. Has any of you ever bothered to ask ur state governors how they spend ur money (this is d govt that is supposed to be closer to u)? This woman did not influence d subsidy remover but just because she's from d world bank many of us just assume it was her brain child and therefore hate her for it. Its not fair! As a matter of fact, it was d state governors that pressured GEJ to remove it.It is not because she is from the world bank but because she was the OBJ Admin that also encourage it an now this ! I respect her but ever since that fuel incident, it just shows that she was heartless to the pains of the average Nigerian on the street. She knows full well that the extra money recovered from the subsidy would provide more money for the governors etc to loot that was why they supported it at the first place (if you remember). Now she is the one coming out talking about the same governors Nigerians protested against ? Also, we keep talking of the FG saving money etc Now where is this money going to. Why does our budget have upto 75 % reoccurring expenditure from last year ? How do they expect to save if 75 % is used to pay up last year's expenses ? The 60 billion dollars OBJ left in the office is not about 30 or so billion if not less. What happened ? She promised the money recovered from the fuel subsidy (which is also saving) would be used to provide this, provide that , where are the promises ? I can keep going on and on |
Martmore: @afam4eva and bliss4life, gbachie onye iberibe a ana akpo aljharem nkiti.Somebody is talking about how to erect and infrastructure that would bring a lot of benefit to nigerians and all he does is to poke his nose in igbo threadDude why are you calling me a dog for discussing with my fellow NLer ? Was I against the idea or did I say something wrong. |
Chai, Beaf don start again Beaf: If the states and LG's were not simply parasiting on the FG, would we be having this argument?Oh so you know ! How does the state and FG generate revenue without necessary infrastructures I ask ? Has the FG provided those infrastructure for them to use so as to generate revenue yes or no ? Beaf: Okonjo Iweala is damn right to raise the issue of fiscal federalism, it is high time our states and LG's got their arses tightly packed and started generating revenue.Yes of course but if you reduce their money since they are the ones making Nigeria broke, how can they provide revenue ? Moreover not all state can provide the necessary revenue to sustain herself. You know that right ? If their should be any federalism it should be zonal with readjusted boundaries. Beaf: We are all beggars, unfortunately many of us lack the shame to stand upright and drop the begging bowl. Why should the states and LG's continue acting like invalids with no plan, brains or pride? If the states stop collecting money from the FG (which I agree with you on), the money the FG gets would go to who and where ? Talk true ! |
saxywale: After the fuel subsidy removal wahala, the soldiers invading SW, Jonathan not listening to the masses and the enormous level of corruption these days, Most South Westerners are sure not voting for Mr 'I had no shoes' again. If PDP has a better candidate, they might still vote for them.I know that for certain. Very correct |
