Politics › Re: We Are Not Part Of Oduduwa Republic - Ijaws Reply Adebanjo. by aljharem(m): 11:45am On Mar 19, 2017 |
mandarin: I don't think anyone is laying claim to Izon or Ijaw least the Yoruba. Some Ijaw are in Ondo State but have no land there. Just like Fulani, the Ijaw are migrants in many parts of southern Nigeria and there's no way they can proof the ownership of anywhere in Edo and Ondo state. The coastal areas from Escravos Warri to Edo and Ondo state do not have any Izonland. I do not think Yoruba want to claim Ijaw but has been affirming their kinsmen the Itsekiri. This statement by the Ijaw is deliberate message to Itsekiri and Edo, trying to affirm ownership and I will advise that they perish the idea.
Now on a more pragmatic level, who really need who? Compare what ijaw have to the Yoruba in all ramifications, they are not mates;is it productive landmass good for agriculture, population with good purchasing power, educated population, already organized communities in terms of economic power, what are the ijaw fighting for? 1. Crude oil: The exclusive land area the ijaw can claim is Forcados to Bayelsa and maybe some areas of Kalabari in Rivers. They can make do with their resources and lets see how many decades it take them to be like the Yoruba or Igbo. Other ethnic groups have oil too, by the time your Nigeria is fully divided(I don't advocate for such) you will know that Yoruba and Igbo has oil than you can think. This is also applicable to natural gas. 2.Warri: Former oil capital of Nigeria, wealthy oil potentials and location of a refinery and proposed gas FTZ, the ijaw can't claim the one at Porthacourt and so looking at warri will to them be a good starting point. Now, if the Itsekiri should stand with Yoruba it will be zero probability of getting what they want. The Gelegele at Edo is slipping away already and consolidating through Toru-Ibe is a dead dream, the ijaw are led largely by youths who just want economic empowerment but with little grasp of history and diplomacy.
What options do they really have if they want an Ijaw country? Live in peace with their neighbors, hold to those undisputed areas and trade away those disputed areas for strong economic and cultural ties because they can't win the Yoruba or the Edo in eventuality. They need to consolidate on their areas in Rivers and Beayelsa else they may be fighting battles against all their big neighbors and they can't win. So, what would the Yoruba want from ijaw apart from oil, don't think there's anything and its not looking like Oduduwa will want to include the Ijaw even though historically the ijaw claim ife and, when the value of oil becomes less and less a driving force, the ijaw will see the light. happy Sunday to all. My take is let the Izon live in peace with all their neighbors, negotiate a confederation with any big side and you will win from both sides. Thank you !!!! Nicely done |

One thing I know APC is for is propaganda and blackmail.
Why should anyone be paying such an high amount for a vehicle when we have no manufacturing company in Nigeria. Are we that daft? They have simply created a snuggling avenue.
Secondly, is the DG of custom beyond the Senate that he disrespect them anyhow ? Will the uniform of the agency he respresents and head kill him? Ego fight

MichaelUweh: Pls let ExxonMobil pack their load and live AKS if they can't relocate their headquarter to the state. Is it good for all this oil companies to have their main operational base in Niger delta and be poluting our environments while they went to Lagos to site their headquarters ,with this, Yoruba people now used this avenue to hijacked all the job opportunities that arises. Go to ExxonMobil in Akwa Ibom, it is Yoruba all through, Total E&P in Port Harcourt ,Yoruba's are everywhere,Agip, Chevron, Hallibutton, shell, etc are all dominated by Yoruba's. Let them relocate if not, there will be a time we would all rise against them in future time. I thought Lagos was a no mans land. Mumu |

[img][/img] AZeD1: I for one don't care if a woman can cook or not. There are certain foods i will only eat if its prepared by me so a woman's cooking skill is of no importance to me.
A woman's play station skills is more important to me than her cooking skills. I find your post very interesting and I use to be like you. Like you I cannot eat some certain food unless cooked by me. Yes that is me, what of my kids? Visitors etc You see, it is your choice but don't make your children grow up in a dysfunctional home. Just because you accept such, majority of men out there will not accept it. I can cook for my wife and kids once in a while. Nothing wrong with that but it is my wife duty to do the cooking most days. Again my wife can support with money sometimes but it is my duty to provide for the home. You cannot have two captains in a ship. Likewise everyone must know his/her role in the family. Nothing works in nature without knowing you part of role to play in it Ants have soldiers, queen, workers eye A lioness hunts and provides food while the lion protects the pride God has designed nature because He understands His ways and you cannot rationalise it. He gave authority to Adam the man for a purpose. He a wise man and stand your ground A good woman would know these things I dated a feminist once. I cook etc for her. Lol it was wrong and not worth it. You will only regret it. Again a word is enough for the wise. A wise man has eyes in (not on) his head. Phone autocorrect |

Is cooking not inclusive in taking care of the home, as being the duty of a wife? If there is love and understanding in a home,I wonder the place of this lubbish campaign! Btw,is the home a place to claim equality? Lol you know some women are foolish. The Bible says a wise woman builds her home but a foolish women tires it down. |
Family › Re: #WifeNotCook Bitter Campaign: These Embittered Feminists Must Be Called To Order by aljharem(m): 8:09am On Mar 04, 2017 |
Looooool Women that are frustrated and hate seeing other women happy are the feminist. You see them in weddings, etc all looking angry when a woman is settling down with a God-fearing good man. Some even say they will not attend the wedding because of their sadistic nature.
If a woman cannot cook for me an submit to me then she does not deserve the happiness entitled to her but if we men find a submisive woman, we should love her the way a woman is too be loved.
AFFECTION !!!!! Very important because she is human as well. |

Iamwrath: Nigerian constitution allows anybody who is deemed qualified to run for office, it was never about tribe or region
Afterall Yoruba voted for Ojufraud when his own people abandoned him
Besides Tinubu single handedly fixed Lagos with those he appointed, then it seemed like nonsense but now Eko is stepping up. can you say any achievement of the clueless other than theft and stupidity displayed by husband, wife and adopted child? Accord to them the respect they give their hero. It is time to unite in the south. STOP BEING USED ALL THE TIME |

adadike281: ok, why? He cannot declare his full position yet but trust me they (northern cabal) want to kill the south completely and it is such a shame that Tinubu is just seeing this. Never too late, if he wants to come out, then we need to support him. In the south, we need some "untouchables" and they cannot be militants like Tompolo and co. We need to be very careful, forget party, the North does not care about party by a collective interest of the few. We are more educated in the south but we are always the fools. Tinubu is not making it clear his position until we get closer to 2019 |

Personally, I can't vote for him, he's not the only intelligent person in Nigeria and then, he's too cunning for my own liking! True but we in the south, whether Christians or Muslims need to support him. He is our best chance right now funny enough |

The JagaBandit understands our collective greediness and mumuness that he has exploited these past 18 years to rise from a pauperised drug dealer returneee who forfeited $460,000 to pay off his CRIME to the US but is today (arguably) the richest Yoruba man. It is time for the South to unite behind Tinubu. I know it sounds absurd but trust me if we don't we will regret it. The North has always used the south, it is time we use the North to move this country forward. I don't like Tinubu but at this Junction, we need to think ahead. |
