@jason.You have to be fair in your analysis of nairaland.I don't think northerners have been involved in any of these your tribalistic thread even though people like beaf have tried so much to drag them into this.Nigeria is a multi-ethnic society and has more than 250 ethnic groups.Igbo as an ethnic group is the most de-centralised and hence has the least tendency of speaking with one voice.Let us say things the way they are devoid of ethnic affiliations.I do so and wish all of us do same. Igbos are partly in charge now since GEJ is half Igbo and in 2015, Igbos will be in charge again fully while in 2011 Yorubas will drive themselves into political oblivion by moving en mass from PDP, the only party in Nigeria, to some obscure Yoruba party, ACN. They will play opposition again like Awo did unsuccesfully,  but this time, there will be no Obj to bring them back to national limelight since Obj will become the king of Onitsha, his father's land.
