its embarrassing as it seems Northern Nigeria wants to turn itself into Pakistan. MY GOD!
is the EFCC equivalent to the US' CIA? or more like the FBI? what are these EFCC people doing. aren't they supposed to be investigating all this in a way to prevent it before it happens. what exactly is the job of the EFCC, because it seems pretty cloudy to me.

The North will also depend on the South (or get from elsewhere) for the following
Plantains, banana, oranges, Yam, rice, cassava palm oil (okay they will eat g/nut oil lol)

Frankly, it takes a couple of Igbo importers to flood southern Nigeria (or at least Igbo land if the country is dividing) with food produce as a stop gap. Meanwhile large scale food cultivation goes on. In parts of the East, namely Imo and Anambra, land will no longer be an issue because we (the Igbo intelligentsia) will introduce landless farming to augment land still abundantly available in Ebonyi, Enugu and Abia.

The days land dictate agriculture are coming to an end.

^-- lol @ oba of arewa. Shoudn't it be sarkin arewa?

I don't have a problem with average, ordinary hausa-fulani. They are welcome in my land. Just your rabble-rousing leaders and murderous almajiris no one likes.

oba is king in yoruba na so i would be king wink

Yea, I support that statement because I know you're not talking about Ekiti state.

Although the hatred among Nigerians for this group is fast spreading like wild fire due to the barbaric nature of all hausa fulani people over the years. If we want to say the truth we will miss them a lot when they finally get kicked out of Nigeria.
Reason? Some of them are honest, some of them love the country but most importantly who will sell the suya?
Who will polish our shoes?
Who will watch our gates from thieves?
Who will sell water to us (meruwa)?
Who will speak those funny English to make us laugh?
Who will supply us with tomatoes and grandnut?
These are things we take for granted now but at that time we would miss these services from the mallams.

we would miss u too my brother grin grin grin

don't worry, we can still meet in abuja unless you want to take abuja as well

@Poster

You can come here and list how the chaos in the North is affecting prices in the south. Only lil minds like yourself will never understand that life is priceless.

Let the prices rice, as long as we still live to see another day.

SMH!

I am who I am. 100% Igbo, a direct descendant of Eri himself. I'll never bow, yield, succumb or feel inferior to any body. Ndigbo are not know to feel inferior to anyone. We even feel the jews are our descendants rather than the other way round.

Everyone should be proud of their ethnic nationality. There's no room for inferiority complexes here.

i have eri blood too ooo grin grin grin don't forget

And so why're people so ready to claim fulani ancestry eventhough it quite might be false. Is there something about the fulani that makes them seem aristocratic to other northerners? Is it due to their conquests of the 18th and 19th centuries. Maybe it has something to do with the caliphate.

Alj Uche, u should be proud of your kanuri blood and never try to say u have fulani blood even as a joke. If u know much about Idris Alooma's conquests and successes as a king then u should be proud. I know significant info of medieval northern nigeria, with the existence of the Kanem-Bornu empire and the Mali empire stretching all the way to present day Kano in the 14th century and upwards.

thanks bro wink smiley

Shehu probably is not a Dan Fodio relative unless he is descended from a Dan Fodio daughter, right? Kanuri Empire never fell to Fulani rule, and thus should have a separate lineage.

I think most of these Emirs in the North are Dan Fodio descendants. Or descendants of his allies.

yeah i know, but most of this people in the ruling class claim fulani 1 way or the other now

i mean if u go to the bank to see the CEO and ask 100 people about his linage, 1 of them would say he has fulani blood somewhere undecided don't know why and don't really care
