Raise new livestock from what brother? Animals aren't plants that you only need seeds to get another. You god slaughtered ALL livestock that belonged to the Egyptians. Where would they have gotten livestock to raise? The Bible doesn't record that they stole livestock from the Egyptians.

And if the Egyptians could raise livestock from nothing, that means god's plague made no sense any way since the bad guys always had their ways of getting their animals backs.

Either that or those who wrote the Bible forgot that they had already reported god killed all in an earlier passage.

I'm sorry for your loss. Your mum's cancer may have been diagnosed in its later stages, God's will or plan has nothing to do with it. If it's a new type or form, hopefully medical scientists would get to work and in a few years, people won't have to die again. Peace.

no, you can't always carry someone else with your faith! after a while God will want the person involved to use Her own faith to get well. after all the bible said each of us has been given the same measure of faith. i can easily use my faith if my wife is still young in the spirit to help her receive healing but after a while my faith will no longer work, why, cuz at that time she ought to have grown in the spirit to begin using her faith not just for her self but for other people. i know of a very great man of faith who lost his dear wife to sickness, his faith was strong while she was stil a baby Christian he could ask God forher healing and God would do it, but then he later discovered that his faith was no longer working for her healing after many many years becuz at a certain stage God would require a level of personal faith. you can't always ride on people's faith. at this stage, over more than 30yrs being a xtain who ought to havr grown in faith for her own personal healing, the pastor in questions cannot always carry herwit his own faith.

All these one na just una usual excuses, so now Kumuyi's wife was low in faith. If you're sick go to the hospital, science has made it possible for you to get "healing" there. Believing that people with cancer get healed by "faith" is a 19th century belief, I don't expect it from someone in the 21st century.

Reminds me of my misadventure to UI Medical school some 30 years ago (and this was rated as one of the top Medical schools in West Africa at the time) and :-

One of my classmates whose Dad was a Prof of Medicine used to see our exam questions days before our exams and promptly circulates same amongst his friends / hangers on and those who are ready to hero worship him.

Another classmate whose Dad was also a Prof of Medicine came late to an exam and the lateness was such that she should have been automatically failed but the invigilator (a Prof who was a student to the girls Dad) kept looking out for the girls arrival and kept saying thus - "Where is the she that must be obeyed.

Top this with the fact that 20% of my classmates who were at risk of being kicked out for a second failure cheated to pass that critical 2nd exam sitting by specializing in just a small part of the human anatomy and swapping answers with their fellow cheats at the back of the class and scoring 100% to the chagrin of those hard working students who end up scoring less than them.

This is why I don't trust Doctors (from anywhere) with my body.
