Honestly i don't think that's is a good insinuation, however the two regions in question cannot win elections for any presidential candidate but a combination of SW and the North can secure victory. Gov. Ortom hasn't done well but he clearly doesn't have the funding that is available to Borno. There are specific reconstruction projects funded by FG and World organisations in respect of Borno State.
I don't know if such facilities were made available to Benue State.

I usually don't believe in conspiracy theory, but I am gradually believing the theory that northern political elites intentionally keep majority of northerners poor and uneducated just for their political gains.

Since state creation in 1991 Anambra governors had all come with good profiles from military administration of Attah and Rufai Garuba to elected governors like Mbadinuju a man with brilliant ideas , pastor and UK trained lawyer to Obiano who had a stellar record including being an auditor for Total oil worldwide and executive director of a bank they all failed, ngige almost succeeded but godfathers booted him out after 36 months,Soludo with all his big records is struggling with the state,Anambra is a state with many billionaire godfathers and the most difficult to govern in Nigeria.
