F50: Have you noticed that both sides of every argument holds some truth or makes some sense, having said that its no longer sufficient to declare any party right or wrong in totality. Rather its adviceable to establish a common ground between or amongst both parties involved while ensuring that justice and fairness is given the utmost preference in the final proclamation.
Now back to your question. If we are to create a list of TV stations in Nigeria in the order of performance or professionalism or even size, I'm very sure TVC won't make the first page. But here they are; in the forefront of the Saraki Saga. Saraki might be guilty as charged for all I care, after all he was part of previous political dispensations known for corruption.
But lets be sincere to our selves for ones in this our short life. TVC Of all stations in this country.
Be sincere to yourself in secret, nobody will notice. God will notice |

Saraki isn't wise. if you were Saraki, You would still be a Nigerian political office holder No you would not resign you would remain in office you would hold on to power until the last shroud of strength expended and Mr you might not even go to jail |

Gaily04: I wasn't invited but went for the pre-departure briefing. It went well, several speeches n talks about life in d UK, n a good job NDDC is doing to develop its youths. Scholars were called one after d other to get their award letters, thereafter documentation n 10k stipend. My best part was when people who least expected to hear their names went with Faith, n succeeded. They were given acceptance forms to submit at d Head Office, I could see d joy in the faces of d scholars and plenty hope in d faces of those that didn't make it, I shared in their joy n hope for d best. I just want to know if there are names that were called but no one answered thanks |

Dynssy: Well.... just in case you ported your sim like most of us did because of the craziness associated with re-registration at mtn centres, then you may want to call Gideon and be sure about things.
I ported my mtn sim to glo and considering that bulk SMSes don't deliver to ported sims, I made that call and found that I'm actually on the list.
This is not in anyway intended to raise false hopes; I'm sharing because I genuinely believe some one might benefit.
Congratulations to those who were successful. To those who weren't, I feel your pain. I know the exact feeling I had when I opened this thread and found that people had received SMSes but I had not. In those times, I consoled myself that other opportunities would always come.
Moving on can be tough, but having something to look forward to makes it easier. I know that PTDF which has an even better package is out, common wealth and also chevening. A guy posted a link here for scholarships in Australia. Focus on these along with some self-development schemes and you just might find that not having your name on that list was in some weird way, a blessing in disguise.
Stay blessed!! pls can you share the number |

Ishilove: Interesting. I actually agree with the article although I won't say I'm not guilty of some of 'sins' illustrated here. I stretch my hair with chemicals every three months, not because of inferiority complex but out of necessity. My hair is very thick and stubborn so it needs to be managed. Only a man will condemn relaxer use outrightly.
Asides that, yes, I agree with the hair fixing thingy. I haven't fixed a weave in three years and I have no intention of ever fixing ever again.

kayo80: In the last couple of years, I have had girls attracted to me, and when I go the relationship way, or maybe the friends with benefits way, they usually refuse, and say they just want to be friends with me. I cut them off immediately, and they get angry saying why can't I just be friends with them without sex. Well, my thing is, I don't believe any man can ever be 'just friends' with a girl, without getting attracted to her and wanting sex in the long run. But ofcos, some wimps will say they can do that, but deep down, they so badly want to have sex with that girl.
You can believe me or not, but it is the truth. No. Men can never just be friends with a woman; attraction always gets in the way. But if you are lucky, you can fall in love with your best-friend. If there was a way to qualify your thoughts as MORE THAN WRONG, this would be the most appropriate scenario. Like a friend of mine here on Nairaland would say, why the fuss about sex? What's the big deal there? It is overrated, overstated, overstressed, ... It is shocking. I no send am. I no send her. Sex, the gal, she fine, she no fine, my friend, stranger. NOT INTERESTED!!! "I keep my body under" #pause #NoHomo |
