These MUST be young Shiite members in Osun State.

However, even many millions of non-Muslim Americans, Europeans, Africans, and Israeli citizens have also held several rallies in support of Palestinian people because of the relentless deaths that went on in Israeli hands around the time the Iran-Israel War took place with the devastating barrage of military missiles seige Iran laid to the Israeli Iron Dome

If these people are protesting with the intent to cause religious destabilization, then they MUST be interogated and charged to court for incitements.

If it's male we share profits after maturity and my capital will first be refunded. If it's Bororo it's ₦800k. In the case of lose or damage, we be 50/50 shared lose. He will be responsible for management, medications and feeding. He's ready to sign legally binding agreement because I rejected ordinary agreement.

What do you think about this deal? I didn't know that a young cow is now around ₦250k for make and ₦400k for female for rearing 😲

Please advice. Thanks.

I'm certainly NOT naive. I have a background in criminal investigations and as a man who has been alive for decades with access to crime statistics of over 40 years at my disposal, I'm aware of the fact that some traditional rulers, are aware alongside other security variables. The wave of foreign Fula herdsmen migration from the West African Sahel countries into parts of the North, Middle Belt, West of Nigeria and East of Nigeria have the imprint of some of these traditional rulers who welcome gifts of cows from these Fulas to operate or tender to their own cows. Most of the cows in the East of Nigeria don't belong to the Fulas but to Ibo dealers who hire the Fulas to take care of them based on credible info from some top members of Miyetti Allah.

Crime reports specific to the mining sector can be formerly made to the office of the Minister of Mines, the Police HQ where special Police investigators and IRT units can be deployed and the DSS for major sting operations and follow-ups if reporting at a local police station can lead to intel being compromised. Period.

Source
Succinctly put by Senator Shehu Sani.

BUT it's NOT all of them that are legit and they work in tandem with some saboteurs from among the Nigerians for financial inducements. A vast number of especially Indians, Lebanese, Chinese, see hidden opportunities in every country, then they get the needed single-digit funds from offshore financial institutions (and some Nigerian-based financial institutions) to take advantage of manufacturing and import-export businesses some Nigerians CANNOT see or complain about.
However, there are many Nigerians I'm aware of too who are seeing business gold mines and opportunities laced as "dirt" which some complain about.

The immigrant drive is ALWAYS strong as well so they are usually NOT in Nigeria to play games just the same way Nigerians in other countries do NOT go there to play games or count the numbers of bridges abroad in the United States, United Kingdom, Cote D'Ivoire, etc.

People from the country mentioned steal Nigeria resources like lithium (most especially). Chinese steal lithium and export it to Hong Kong. I saw this with my eyes 3yrs ago at ibadan.
@Mandesz

Did you inform the security agencies about this as of 3 years ago? This is a revenue loss for Oyo State and Nigeria with the lithium deposit being taken to Hong Kong in China. There MUST be a beneficiation plant to add value to that lithium instead of allowing these precious metals to be smuggled out raw!

Tbh, the Chinese have among them people who engage in opaque activities whenever they are abroad and this is why they have to be monitored. They have legit Chinese entrepreneurs, but give some of them space and they will take more than they are supposed to take as can be seen in their involvement in the exploitation of gold in Ghana.

I really wish we had the kind of top businessmen and industrialist speak up and posit their views on our public finances and the true way forward for our economy the way Elon did in the US in reaction to Trump's BBB.

And the way you hear industry leaders in the UK and other European countries engage the media and the citizens on alternative ways the economy cam be handled be cause they do know a lot.

The reason is simple. Alternative ideas shared by politicians alone are often seen as posturing but when those who are affected speak up and push for better ways then the nation takes note.

There used to be a time when the likes of Christopher Kolade and Ernest Shonekan openly aired their views on things economic policy, wrote articles in the media on the state of Nigeria's economy.

But today there is palpable silence. Everyone appears to be scared about putting out their views even when they are badly affected by the way government is run, by the sheer amount of resources that are wasted in administering this country.

It should not be up to the political class alone to do the dirty work of challenging the misdeeds of government
.
Contrary to your opinion in the second to the LAST paragraph, there ISN'T "palpable silence" from the likes of the great late Christopher Kolade and Ernest Shonekan that you referenced.

I'm fully aware as a Diasporan and investor in Nigeria that several powerful members of the different Chambers of Commerce (Lagos Chamber of Commerce), Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), NASME, etc, located over there in Nigeria have been practically offering strategic advice and solutions before and especially from 2023 till date with a lot of policies implemented. However, I agree with a large part of your post but WANTED to let you and others know that there is "NO palpable silence" from the business and investment community
and the private sector perspectives are being aired openly and utilized as well based off of my monitoring of Nigerian business and investment news.

The Nigerian President 'Bola Tinubu also has a Presidential Council on the economy consisting of MOST of the very prominent business moguls and industrialists such as Aliko Dangote, 'Femi Otedola, Abdulsamad Isiaku-Rabiu, etc, who meet with him and offer sustainable robust solutions. Every well-informed business professional around the world knows full well that borrowing long-term offshore funds for long-term use isn't bad as long as the funds are judiciously used and monitored by the creditors.

The renowned American economist, Prof. Jeffrey Sachs in his speeches to members of the African Union (AU) in Addis Ababa, the World Economic Forum (WEF), and at other sustainable economic fora has ALWAYS emphasized in his video interviews I've watched that in times of restructuring and economic downturns, you have to borrow for the long-term at low single-digit interest rates over a 30 year period while engaging in massive infrastructural development just like China did to become a powerhouse within 30 years!

The so-called members of the political class and politicians you referenced such as Peter offering his advice here practically do so superficially in order to seem active to their followers and to denigrate those in government on the pages of newspapers and via their personal social media handles instead of offering functional solutions. Period.

PoliticsRe: Why Captain Ibrahim Traoré Is Playing With Fire By Detaining Nigerian Soldiers by AlphaTaikun: 9:30pm On Dec 14, 2025
Mankind2024:
Why Captain Ibrahim Traoré Is Playing with Fire by Detaining Nigerian Soldiers
Many people underestimate the capabilities of the Nigerian military and what it could mean for the government of Burkina Faso under Captain Ibrahim Traoré.

Don't be misled by Nigeria's ongoing internal security challenges—fighting Fulani herdsmen clashes, kidnappers, bandits, and jihadist insurgents in the North, or separatist agitation in the East involving IPOB and unknown gunmen. These are asymmetric insurgencies, complicated by local sympathies and complex socio-political dynamics that make total eradication difficult without massive collateral impact. No advanced military in the world easily wins such protracted internal wars.

In stark contrast, a direct confrontation with Burkina Faso would be conventional (symmetric) warfare. The Nigerian Armed Forces—Africa's largest by personnel, with superior airpower, logistics, and combat experience—have the overwhelming potential to overrun Burkina Faso's smaller military and, if provoked far enough, enforce regime change in Ouagadougou.

Dismiss any notion that Russia's support for Traoré would deter this. Nigeria could establish theater commands in neighboring countries like Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, and Togo for a multi-front operation, leveraging regional alliances and superior resources.

This detention risks escalating a diplomatic incident into something far more dangerous. Traoré's supporters—often vocal online pan-Africanists and certain political factions—may cheer the bravado now, but they would have plenty to lament if things spiral out of control.
For folks like me who have an advanced knowledge of global geopolitical dynamics and counter-terrorism, I have the following strong warnings.

The diplomatic options MUST still be pursued for the NEXT seven to fourteen days and swift diplomatic contacts MUST made with the Russian Government which is partly active in the faltering terror war in Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger Republic. There's been a lot of fake news from highly IRRESPONSIBLE random YouTubers, bloggers and those affiliated to non-state actors making inciting comments against the Nigerian State over the issue of the Hercules C-130 forced landing in Burkina Faso. The DSS and other intelligence agencies MUST immediately disrupt and take down these people for pushing out deliberately fabricated disinformation online.

However if Nigeria decides to forcibly rescue the Air Force men and the C-130, it could lead to some unintended consequences because Nigeria would have to get bogged down or directly involved in fighting the JNIM jihadi group which is the dominant Jihadi group in the West African Sahel and JNIM massively bombed the Burkinabe capital city in 2024 in a terror attack showing how much inroads they have made. This young military guy called Traore of Burkina Faso and the 2 military dictators in Mali and Niger Republic are already overwhelmed and instead of asking for help apart from the Russians they have refused to do much due to pride!

As we speak, MORE than 50 percent of the total land mass of Burkina Faso is under the control of JNIM, the notorious Tuareg-led Malian jihadi terror gang affiliated to Al-Qaeda. If the young dictator in Burkina Faso is affected by an invasion of that country, Nigerian forces would have to provide ground security for the protection of Burkina Faso and the JNIM jihadi group would have a greater advantage to take over more territories. The JNIM has ALSO taken over more than half of Mali and Niger Republic under it's control ever since the Russians got involved in those 3 countries meaning that the terror situation is even far WORSE than before the same Russians got involved.

GerogeI:
Point of Correction
Igbos have no Kings.
Eze actually translates to Leader or Influencial.
It's the Britsh that was desperately looking for how to add Kings to Igbos, and purposely mis-translated Eze to mean King.

The warrant Chiefs you have today courtesy of British Colonials do not choose to be called Eze, Rather they choose to be called Igwe- meaning "Sky" as reference to being "Highest" or Greatest courtsey of British support. Thats because they felt Eze was too common for the position Britain created for them. Igbo has no word for a Monarch because they don't exist in our sphere. A typical Igbo community in olden times has several Eze's, it takes integrity, attainment of wealth prowess, attainment of spiritual prowess, and followership to be an Eze. The spiritual ptowess being most important.

Eze is a common reference in Igbo communities. In a given community you will have multiple Eze. You will also have multple people with Eze in their surname. They are all leaders or their fathers were, but never exclusive. It's more akin to a Senator modern terms or a British Lord. Due to British interference most young Igbos also think Eze means King. Its actually a title, like Sir, or Maazi.

Your title should be "Leader of Igbos in Sokoto visits Nnamdi Kanu"

HMO to me is as Lagos APC as you get. The problem I have is exactly with these sort of people. The guy I am talking about is a mini HMO. They are part of the Political structure of Lagos APC and they know no other way.

People like Fashola, Wahab, Osinbajo, Cardozo, Edun etc are not really APC political structure. They are fundamentally private sector professionals or technocrats as we like to call them so they tend to have a sense of professionalism and standards. They may have been compromised in their standards by having to work with these people but they are fundamentally a different breed.

When I refered in a previous post to APC Lagos political family, it is people like Gbaja, HMO and this young SA, I am talking about.

HMO is a career civil servant and a key member of the Lagos political Family. He is part of the furniture, part of the system. IMHO, There is nothing that has happened in Lagos since 1999 good or bad that has not become part of his DNA……he knows no other way. So when I say I am not happy with Lagos APC, he is not the solution. It’s like wanting to reform a Federal ministry and bringing in a man who started his career in that ministry and became a permanent secretary. He entire career, professional (or unprofessional) habits and mindset have been formed in that organization and is exactly the thing you are trying to reform. Whatever rot exists in that ministry he is a part of. IMHO, You don’t rise to the top in a rotten system without being a part of the system. All you are going to get is more of the same. You don’t for example say you want to reform NNPC and appoint a GMD who spent all his life in NNPC or ministry of petroleum, if you are serious you bring a Bayo Ojulari from Shell.

I have nothing against HMO personally but having been part of the governance and political structure of Lagos since 1999, to me he represents more of the same mediocrity and exactly the kind of person I don’t want to see as governor.

It’s one thing to be an appointee from the private sector for a few years but you don’t remain in a system for more or less your entire working life and not become the system yourself.

PS: the idea of Seyi as governor is a joke gone too far. I don’t think even he himself or anyone from APC takes it seriously.

Lagos APC has become too comfortable in their mediocrity. Ordinarily they deserve to be kicked out for a term or 2 to rest their brains but unfortunately Gbadebo, Jandor and Doherty are a bunch of clowns and not viable options……same story at the Federal level.

Tinubu is doing well at the Federal level but it is also because his boys can’t operate at the Federal level with the opacity and standards of project delivery they are used to in Lagos. Nonetheless you still see the Lagos APC DNA in his boys from the flip flopping of policy and tardiness in certain respects of administration. Leaked official docs from presidency, 15% petrol duty today, gone tomorrow, appointment of dead people without vetting the list, granting pardons to terrorists or people whose case is still in court….etc etc. these are the hallmark of the amateurism and anyhowness of his footssoldiers from Lagos that are hallmarks of how they operated in Lagos.
I'm blown away by your engaging feedback here. I read it 3 times in order to internalize the specifics and I appreciate the extra layers of information and CLARITY in your post.

Whoa! Your laser-focussed analysis of HMO and his exploits since 1999, Gbaja and more is brilliant.

Those occurrences of leaked memos as the Federal level since 2023 simply got me pissed off tbh. A lot of re-evaluations are going on right in my head. A Governor who has been a private sector leader or professional is what Lagos State will require when Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu leaves office.

Thanks for the deep insights here.

Cheers!

In fact the exchange I read and his responses is the day I said I would never vote for APC in state elections. Like I said I won’t vote for any other party because they are also equally or probably more incompetent but I will never leave my house to vote APC in Lagos state, let the chips fall where they fall
. Tokunbo wahab is the only person I can leave my house to vote for. He is a descent person and you can tell he is one of the few who still has a sense of right and wrong.
That SA must have a really brusque temperament that's 1000 times worse than what Obasa has ever been accused of by others for you to give that kind of damning feedback about his person and his repeated poor handling of constructive criticisms. That type of SA must never be the future Governor of Ipinle Eko if he has NO emotional intelligence.

'Tokunbo Wahab might not get the ticket even though he's well-spoken and educated, but I don't see 'Femi Gbaja there either. I suspect that Muri-Okunola might be the next one in line. Ambode might not make it back to complete a final term as claimed by some. Someone with the near-temperament of a Babatunde Raji-Fashola who can come up with creative iconic projects such as the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge, someone like Raji-Fashola whohas a deep love for nature by beautifying the Lagos environment with plants to give off oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide for photosynthesis, someone who respects traffic lights and drives around without sirens, etc.

I don't want to see 'Seyi there for now because he needs to show more self-discipline and introspection. How can 'Seyi, (a young man of 40 who is also a lawyer) just allow all kinds of creeps defame his father with deliberately fabricated disinformation here on NL and other online platforms calling his father a d*ug baron despite the FACT that he wasn't charged for any crimes back in 1993. These monikers ought to have faced justice and serve time in jail for defamation of character. The uncertainty surrounding the disinformation around his father, 'Bola Tinubu over the fake d*ug baron story definitely led to his loss by 10,000 votes to the other guy because a powerful strand of Yoruba voters in Lagos who were not convinced about the morality surrounding the disinformation being spread online and offline around his academic records and that recircled drug issue in voted against him.
CelebritiesRe: Paul Okoye Returns To Jos After 20 Years – Viral Video Sparks Debate (Photos) by AlphaTaikun: 9:07pm On Dec 13, 2025
Glimpsetv:
Mr P, one half of the legendary music duo P-Square, recently returned to Jos, Plateau State, the city where he and his twin brother Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) grew up and began their iconic music career—nearly 20 years after leaving.

Ahead of his visit, the superstar reportedly moved with a heavy security convoy, said to include over 20 personnel, seemingly in anticipation of a massive fan turnout. A viral clip showing Mr P waving from the sunroof of a moving vehicle as residents went about their daily activities quickly circulated online. Some bloggers claimed that fans did not turn out, sparking heated debates on social media.

However, this narrative was misleading. Mr P later shared exclusive footage from the visit, clearly showing excited fans, cheering crowds, and wild jubilation in several areas of Jos, proving that the love for the superstar remains strong.

It’s also understandable that some areas saw fewer people—the city is large, and after 20 years away, not everyone may recognize him immediately. This is a reality any global celebrity might face.

Picture below says everything you need to know about Lagos APC. Some of his fans are saying this is one of SanwoOlu’s flagship deliveries in the health sector.

Please look at a flagship center that looks like it was designed by a draftsman with tacky looking red roof, blue windows, brown and beige paint crooked signage and a design that looks like something from the 1950s.

This is just one example of Lagos APC’s idea of excellence in 2025!

If you disburse N5000 to buy bread but only N700 of it gets to my hand, I can only come back with N700 bread. I can get you the best bread for N2000, I can get you decent bread for N1200-1500 but since I only got N700 all I can deliver is N 700 bread and it is N700 for a reason.
Whaaat?! Tbh, those two attached photographs look really tacky with the signage names and that health facility should NEVER be refered to as flagship project in 2025.

Why are they cutting corners or have they embezzled a large chunk of the money ORIGINALLY meant for the so-called flagship project? If ALL the Nigerian States are on record to have received the largest inflows of money (under the Presidency of 'Bola Tinubu) ever in Nigeria's history as of December 2025, then total quality management and proper finishing MUST be emphasized in construction works.
I think bodies such as "BudgIt" MUST be contacted online or via email to monitor these kinds of construction works to ascertain how much was allocated ORIGINALLY to fund this project and others in Lagos and other Nigerian States where discrepancies might exist. I look at some States in Nigeria and I see the high quality of building and construction works they do in Rivers State, BUT sometimes, Lagos Government and other levels of government have initiated building constructions which just look banal or pedestrian like the one in your 2 attached pictures.

The Ekiti State Government (aided by further donations running into millions from the multimillionaire legal luminary, High Chief Afe Babalola, SAN, for instance) used that Chinese construction company (CCCIEC) to construct their impressive tarmac and the new Ekiti International Cargo Airport which received it's FIRST EVER commercial flight on Dec 10, 2025. On the other hand, the Ogun State Government used the Nigerian company founded by the late Herbert Wigwe to construct the streamlined, beautiful terminal building, BUT the environmental landscaping and finishing of the car parking lot was just too tacky as seen in several YouTube videos. I'm an intense art lover since before I clicked 10 decades ago and I like abstract paintings and sculptures too along with an eye for little details and orderliness, so, I tend to pick up these inneficiences around me very quickly and point them out for correction by those responsible.

I like the way you noticed the tacky design of that so-called flagship medical facility. The citizens of Nigerian descent wherever they are on this planet Earth MUST continue to relentlessly call out the inneficiences of governments at different levels to improve infrastructural standards. One thing I like about APC folks at the Federal Government level and APC Lagos level is that if you call them out enough and offer solutions as well either via their official social media handles or directly to some senior officials, they'll listen to you. I've seen that pattern play out within the last 2 years. Like you emphasized, APC though filled with some mediocrities is still a little better than other parties and this is hoping that they take a cue and upgrade themselves to be more responsive to real time situations occuring around them.

Ok, thanks for the insight. You mean, like Thuraya. So you mean satellites phones and satellite phone calls can't be tracked?

17 Apr 2022 — Militant groups in Kashmir now have Iridium satellite phones, Wi-Fi-enabled thermal imagery tools. The devices help terrorists escape

Yes, satellite phone brands like Thuraya or Iridium used by legit folks and unfortunately terrorists can be tracked with sophisticated tools that are ONLY available in some countries, though it can be hard to track or challenging for others. There are various methods used including analyzing frequency emissions, using GPS/location data, exploiting device identifiers (IMEI/IMSI), tracking network connections (even international ones), and leveraging provider data through legal requests, with advanced SIGINT sensors capable of detecting and geolocating them from the air.

How They Can Be Tracked:
Frequency & Signal Analysis: Specialized sensors (SIGINT) can detect the unique radio signals from satellite phones, identifying the brand and location as soon as they're activated.

GPS & Built-in Location: Most sat-phones have GPS; this built-in feature can be exploited for tracking, or network-assisted GPS can pinpoint them.

Device Identifiers: Unique numbers like the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) can be monitored across networks, allowing authorities to watch a specific device's movements.
