Man spends 33 days in jail just for calling someone on phone in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. LOOK AT ME. AFTER SPENDING ONE MONTH AND THREE DAYS IN THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE MONITORING UNITS (I. G. P) CELL PORT HARCOURT. NOW HEAR MY TRUE STORY. I ASKED FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM A BROTHER IN THE LORD THAT WORSHIPPED IN THE SAME LOCAL CHURCH WITH ME TO IMPROVE ON MY BUSINESS AND HE PROMISED TO ASSIST ME IN A WEEK TIME BUT WHILE WAITING FOR THAT WE MEET ON THE ROAD AND HE TOLD ME THAT HE WANT TO ESTABLISH A DRIVING SCHOOL BUSINESS AND ASKED IF I CAN MANAGE IT AND I TOLD HIM TO GIVE ME TIME TO THINK ABOUT IT AND AFTER ANALYSING IT WITH MY FAMILY I CALLED TO GIVE HIM FEEDBACK BUT HE TOLD ME THAT HE IS NOT AROUND AND THAT WE SHOULD MEET IN THE CHURCH ON SUNDAY . BUT ON SUNDAY BEFORE WE COULD ME I HEARD THAT HE LOST HIS VEHICLE AND AS A BROTHER , I FELT CONCERN AND LATER MET WITH HIM IN WHICH HE TOLD HOW HIS CAR WAS SNATCHED AND MY REPLY TO HIM WAS THAT GOD WILL HELP YOU TO RECOVER IT. HOWEVER, ON MY OWN , GOD THAT MADE HEAVEN EARTH IS MY WITNESS THAT I WENT TO MY CHILDREN CHURCH ALTAR WITH MY TWO KNEES AND ASKED GOD TO HELP HIM TO RECOVER THE VEHICLE BUT TO THE SHOCK OF MY LIFE AFTER A MONTH, I WAS ARRESTED AND TOLD THAT I WAS THE LAST PERSON THAT CALLED HIM BEFORE THE VEHICLE WAS SNATCHED AND THAT I CALLED TO MONITOR HIM. THE PEOPLE OF GOD THAT IS MY STORY. BUT MY JOY TODAY IS THAT GOD IS MY SIDE BECAUSE HE A GOD OF JUSTICE AND NOBODY HAS EVER DEFEATED HIM AND I CAN NEVER BE DEFEATED BECAUSE MY HAND IS CLEAN. In years to come, those who were there will recount the magnificence of the occasion to their children and children's children. It was sheer colour, glamour and an exhibition of the rich Yoruba culture as Billionaire Business guru and Philanthropist, Sir Kesington Adebutu was installed as Odole Odua.
The whole town shock to its very foundation as celebrated Nigerians including Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Governors of Lagos, Ogun and Osun as well as Deputy Governor of Edo all came to honour this great son of the soil.
From his base at the Ife Grand Resort now run by Chief Wanle Akinboboye's La Campagne Ltd, Sir Kesington was chauffeured in a gleaming new maroon Rolls Royce Phantom( that was specially bought for the occasion) to the palace, he was trailed by a long convoy of exotic cars.
Midway, he stepped down from the wonder on wheels to mount a horse drawn carriage which began a steady but triumphant journey to the Oonirisa Palace. The whole town stand stood still as residents lined both sides of the street cheering the man of means.
He first went to the Oranmiyan Temple for some rites and then to the Laadin Temple within the Palace before for prayers before he was officially installed. He was presented two gold swords, and other paraphernalia of office amidst cheers by the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
Thereafter there was a 5-star reception at a special marquee mounted within the Palace that was efficiently organised by the Planning Committee chaired by Aare Kola Oyefeso.
Ksquare Security was in charge of security and the experienced outfit was stretched to its limit by the deluge of guests.
While Astoria took care of food, Ice Box and Bonix were in charge of drinks. Ace broadcaster, Prince Bisi Olatilo and Gbenga Adeyinka Ist served as Comperes. King Sunny Ade was the only artiste on stage and he rocked in his usual jolly style till late into the night. It was a fitting finale to a very grand occasion...

~ Promises to compensate traders before Christmas.
~ Urges ndi Anambra to be our brothers keepers in this terrible situation.
UPPER IWEKA: The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano just arrived the scene of yesterday's inferno at Upper Iweka.
The Governor, expressed sadness over the unfortunate incidence. He however assured that, a Panel of Inquiry that has been swiftly set, shall commence immediate work to ascertain how number of shops affected, and their owners.
The Governor informed that, all well meaning of Ndi Anambra, have called to commiserate with the victims. He urged them to know that the government of Anambra State are together with them in this trial times.
He also expressed concern over the inability of the State Fire Service Team to be allowed to rescue the situation. He however, assured that the Government will beef-up the Fire Service facility around the Upper Iweka axis.
He also warned criminal elements to stay away people's property as a result of what happened, noting that, the government will deal decisively with any criminal caught in criminal activities.
