Thanks a lot, will do this right away

genius43:
Download update file manually with a download manager and install.

https://bigota.d.miui.com/V12.0.4.0.RJWMIXM/miui_CURTANAGlobal_V12.0.4.0.RJWMIXM_9788084253_11.0.zip

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11/12 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

Trump bankrupt his companies as if people do not fail, do you know how many successful business people have gone bankrupt and build again, it is a normal process, people go bankrupt and build up again, it is cycle that is if you have the money and the strength to build up.

i am tired of arguing, i need to go do better things now

The ignorance in this post though, there’s something called positioning, that’s why some make more than the other. There’s also something called cherry picking, I don’t complete every trip I receive.

LRU was there at about 6.15pm. Google map saved me, got a request from awolowo road ikoyi to surulere at 4.30pm, Google map advised iyanoworo- Anthony- ikorodu road and rider agree. That's how I got to surulere before 6pm.

Always check Google map, wherever you're driving to, check. It was save you time

Don't need that "catalyst biscuit" it's the spacer I need so that it can turn off the check engine. That biscuit is useless as far as I'm concerned it won't turn off the check engine light neither will it effectively do the job of catalyst.

If you have a contact for O2 sensor spacer, please let me have it

franksam2009:
the spacer is there in ladipo, but only about 1% of them will understand what u are talking abt lol,. But instead of buying a new one why not cut yours open and put a new catalyst biscuits inside , it's just 10k
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by alstarmayo(m): 10:06am On Mar 03, 2019
my catalyst isn't present, that has been confirmed all other sensors are perfect.

I need to get a spacer or adapter to fool the ECU, because original catalyst isn't cheap, it's about 70k, just want to do it because I hate seeing the check engine light

franksam2009:
p0420 has to do with your exhaust system (catalyst and o2 sensor) which can trigger other codes like lean fuel or too much fuel mixtures code, because the upstream 02 sensor is sending message to ur ECU to pump much fuel cos you have a bad catalyst system, .
First of all get your 02 sensor testedin ladipo for 1-2k( shop owners LL do it for free) ...
If the sensors are ok den you might have to loose the exhaust to check ur catalyst cos it might have cracked or blocked,,,
If the 02 sensors are good, den there are 2 things involved at this point, it's either you change ur catalyst or you fool your ECU into thinking the catalyst is in perfect condition and the p0420 code will disappear...

I did both and it worked, I used adapters on the rear 02 sensor it worked fine,. But I later decided to change the catalyst and have rest of mind since it's not that costly sha

Base fare is 200, minimum fare is 500, you will need to drive about 4km before fare will change from 500 to 600, same way you will for 40 minutes before you see 600 when you start the trip. Fare starts reading from base fare, minimum fare is the reason it doesn't change for long

izzou:
If I keep you waiting for 20 minutes, and we later start a trip thats less than 2km, you'll still see #500 or at most #600 on taxify

Sometimes, paid waiting no worth am

You need to understand the surge pattern, agungi/Osapa starts surging from 7am, by 7.30 it moves to phase1/Ikate, on Monday mornings

eherbal:
surge or mirage? those bloody reds have a way of disappearing before you get there. I don't bother chasing them.its a waste of time undecided

Start trip or not, same amount is being charged 10naira/minute. If a rider ask me not to start trip, paid waiting got me covered

ifyeez:
These remind me, of one request I got sometime last year, got to pick up location, called the lady that I have arrived, she came out after 15min of my arrival, by then I had already put off my engine and AC, she got in, I wanted to start the car and start the trip, she said my friend is coming too, so I did not start the car again, she started complaining that I should put on the AC as the car is so hot, I told her that means am starting the trip, she said no don't start the trip, just put on the AC first so when her friend comes out, I will start trip, I refused, she was just murmuring Nawao this kind of driver self, she could not talk to me, I knew 1 star awaited me after the trip, waited like extra 5min, I told her am cancelling as I can't continue waiting for her friend, she said oya start the trip, I looked at her and am not going infact request another ride,
coz I have cancelled, you can't come and spoil my rating tongue tongue embarassed tongue

You should have known lekki will surge on Monday morning, it's in the constitution. If I get to the island before 7am on Monday, I'll drive to agungi, go offline and monitor the surge on my rider app

Tgiirl:
Damn! Lekki is surging and im here on the mainland... ooo why this roder come carry me come mainland this early morning on top 2400 naira trip....

Sha! Tempted to blow back but i must not try it... bad traffic from ojota to 3md to ikoyi..

So you'll drive back empty after dropoff? then drive to Ibadan empty after a few days to pick up? At 13k per trip, it's not a good deal IN MY OPINION

nitigriti:
Another #26,000 Ibadan trip loading.
1) Lagos to Ibadan #13,000,
2) Ibadan back to Lagos ( a few days later) #13,000

Same client I took to and from Ibadan in December. I'm good to go

For lekki toll e-tag, their office is right after the toll inward lekki, use the last exact fare lane to the right and keep to your extreme right immediately after the toll.
Go with your car documents, drivers license and minimum of 2k, the 2k will be loaded into your account

Doesn't change what it is

Gentlelife50:
Is now fraud? But if he's here throwing figures up and down you will be hailing him.
Do u know how most drivers come about the figures u see?
See we all know these things, a minute is around #10, that means if u spend two hours to complete a trip it's #1200.
Then a kilometer is between 65 to 75 or there about, oya do the calculation. But they will end trip and u see 8 to 10k when the person didn't go beyond Lagos.
Do u know that from VGC to airport is supposed to be around 3k plus early in the morning but it's usually 4 to 5k. Abeg no let me shake something here ooo

MM2 to one thousand and four last week Thursday was 3, 500 naira so VGC to airport would be more
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by alstarmayo(m): 11:02am On Feb 06, 2019
He's a fraud, how do you expect him to explain where all the money went to

Gentlelife50:
I have one of my neighbor who is into Uber that used to intimidated me with figures then (salt and paper things plus screenshots), he later had an accident after fixing the car he always call me now and then to transfer money for him to complete his weekly remittance.
One would have thought that with such figures he will have a lot of savings, I asked him he said he himself can't even explain what's happening.
One of the things he said was that the money doesn't come once so as a they come u also have small small expenses.
He gave me an instance assuming he make 15k at the end he buy fuel 4k, eat, pay tolls and do other small small expenses u will be left with Oga money for the day. And sometimes he have AC wahala like compressor issues because he actually changed the compressor twice the first one was bought brand new that's like 25k
My point: what I see on my dashboards doesn't always translate to how much cash I have at hand as in my pocket.
Again some of the people that successfully run HP at a point defaulted some didn't even succeed the first time but the experience helped them later.

If you have a sizable responsibility you will know that 120k a week you see on the dashboard (assuming is consecutively) can barely sustain you, only those into the system understands.
That's why some partners who added their driver to their account will be seeing figures and be wondering why the drivers find it difficult to deliver.

I don't just want to talk but if what fahrenz posted here is what he make I make more than him but I am not here to measure prick.
