castroevans: If you have military/police/security training then u made a wise decision by not doing anything that would have Jeopardized ur safety. Think about this, if u had picked up the gun, what would have bin ur fate, do u think u will be able to gun three armed men easily without a single training on how to handle a rifle. I believe u won't even know If the gun was placed on safe mode before he dropped it. So, i see no chance of u surviving if u had pulling a James bond or Jason Stratham's move. Such can be done successfully and with a happy ending only in the movies or ur dream. If u had rammed your car on them, then expect bullets to be rained on u and ur chances of surviving is zero.
Meanwhile, may God protect us all. Not many females on NL know that firearms can be on "safety mode"...hmm I love female geeks, what else is your interest? autos,GOT series, star Wars, science, comics? |

ifenes: The idea is for you not to lean your spine to allow proper concentration. So I would suggest any position you are comfortable to allow you concentrate. You can sit down on a chair and keep your abs straight. It's also a good workout, I do before my workouts at the gym. As a trainer any chance I can adapt to the lotus position? The deformity was bow leg (is that even abnormal?)...My groin muscles just don't allow it.Any execises to wean my legs, may physiotherapy or something? |
Christianity Etc › Re: How Many Heavens Really Exist? by AlvanT(m): 11:11pm On Jul 02, 2017 |
ifenes: The seven heavens is a reference or coded illustration of the 7 chakras of the human body. The centres through which energy flows. These Energy centres have specific uses, of which when block can lead to misuse of energy, sicknesses etc
Religion has hijacked this teachings and deliberately altered its meaning. 7 chakras from The Crown Chakras to the Root chakras are energy points or heavens in the human body. Any time I see diagrams of people meditating it's always in the cross-legged lotus position.Due to some childhood deformity I can't sit in that position, which other one do you recommend? |

Sarassin: It isn’t really a question of enjoyment, it is more a question of learning our lessons. Your life experiences, your pain, your joy are all a part of your destiny. Therefore if you are precognizant of your destiny, I mean, of what to expect then you cannot truly have experiences that will shape you. The absoluteness of our experiences shapes our destiny.
No, it is not the only way. You can learn about spirituality through religion of course, but meditation is the gateway to inner awareness. We have a saying that "religionists believe in God, the mystic Knows God" Sir talking about destiny and purpose, what about down syndromes, imbeciles, simpletons, mentally impaired children, siamense twins from birth, didn't this ones have purpose or desting? or are they paying thier Karmic debts from thier previous lifetimes? I came across a post that say souls can reincarnate as objects, trees, animals, how true is that? do you believe in Ogbanje or Abiku children from the Marine world that reincarnate severally and die young to purnish thier parents and loved ones? Anticipating your reply. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Spirit Lives by AlvanT(m): 5:06pm On Jun 25, 2017 |
Sarassin: Hello there, in answer to your question it depends mostly on the specific circumstances. As a general rule a curse made in the heat of anger is of no real consequence, the danger lies in the fact that the so-called cursed person believes that he/she is cursed and then finds him/herself creating an auto-suggestive state where such a curse becomes self-fulfilling. The remedy of course is to completely dis-regard it.
In the more insidious case of a curse pronounced by a malevolent, that can be more bothersome. The remedy is a ritual cleansing to purify the Aura and the proper invocation of the Archangel Michael. Sir do you think that an evil spiritualist can take someone else's destiny, star, etc.Maybe by using an item or belonging of the victim for some dark rituals?. |
Christianity Etc › Re: What Happens To Me When I Sleep. Could I Be Haunted? Please Help! by AlvanT(m): 10:54am On Jun 25, 2017 |
chieveboy: A lot you know...cos a lot could actually be involved. The person couldn't have been cursed in the first place...a Cause set in motion in a past life can actually show up in this one, and the person assumes they are cursed.
For instance, a lady was in the actual Titanic when it sunk in that time. She was one of the women given a life boat. Some men swam towards the boat for safety, out of fear of sinking, she kept the men from boarding the life boat. She survived that tragedy.
How ever in this life, she gave birth to four boys who all died at delivery. She also finds that her family in this life time didn't value generosity. Also she has an unreasonable fear of open waters (hydrophobia).
So her lessons for this life is to learn the value of life. She didn't give that to the men drowning at sea. She got this revelation after she did an exercise to view past lives.
So a monk in a past life will find it difficult accepting a wealthy life or how to even become rich in the first place. Other Causes in motion could see people suffer terrible things which they believe they know not or have no hand in it. But the fact that whatever any one suffers, they have a hand in it and are only paying back...this also means someone can suddenly become rich or be born into a rich home.
It sad not all could see a past life when they started the trouble.
Now on being cursed, if the person truly is coursed, they can lift themselves above that energy by doing spiritual exercises. The person must try to undo the curse in the other side which is actually where the damage is done. Dream travel or Soul Travel are means to go there.
But firstly, even the attitude of believing one is cursed can attract a curse that isn't even targeted at them. Do not believe anything or anyone can harm you. That is the law of attitude.
As an alternative, the person can ask for help from the Spiritual Leader of Eckankar on the link below. One can ask to see the cause of the problem and how to solve it. Thanks.

Christianity Etc › Re: Spirit Lives by AlvanT(m): 3:45pm On Jun 24, 2017 |
Sarassin: Divine providence is universal and it is not the special preserve of any one religion. Whether we are Christian Muslim Hindu or whatever, we each have attendant spirits who care for us and seek our highest good, acknowledging them is beneficial, the names are irrelevant at this stage it is the intention that matters.
All of the mantras I give are universal and can be used by people of any faith with sincerity. The sounds are eternal and represent Divine harmonics. Where Hindu deities may be mentioned it is only as an emanation of the Divine, an embodiment of the attributes we seek. Even Jesus is an attribute of the Divine, there are mantras with the name of Jesus also, but the ancients found that Sanskrit mantras carry the sounds of the universe.
Religion is a personal matter but it differs from spirituality, one is dogma and the other is experience. Religion can get you to spirituality but you can get to spirituality without religion, in the end you have to take a path that makes the most sense to you. Sir if someone is cursed especially by old folks? what can be done to restore normalcy? Is there any hope at all? |
Christianity Etc › Re: What Happens To Me When I Sleep. Could I Be Haunted? Please Help! by AlvanT(m): 2:09pm On Jun 24, 2017 |
chieveboy: Well you can visit the thread on my signature and ask of how you can solve your problem yourself.
Secondly, you should be aware of the fact that you are the genesis of your problem weather you know so or not. This means nothing could haunt or harm you without your own part to it. That's the first step or mastering your fate. This takes you off the 'masses' counciousness and 'victim' consciousness into taking and accepting responsibility to your life. Thanks. Do curses exit? In the sense that a bitter elder or age person lay a curse of a younger person's head that they'll not make it in life,do such a thing exist? |

Billyonaire: I took my time, from a busy schedule to write to you about God, and you did not respond but still go on rampage making hasty generalizations about issues outside the faculty of logic of the left brain hemisphere. I will totally understand if your Questions About God is just an egotistic overdrive of an individual who just cares about winning an argument. None of you atheists and theists are wrong, and none of you are right.
Does it occur to you, that there could be something in the middle ground, sorry, not middle ground, but something outside the perspective of left, right and center ? This is 3D thinking, subject to 5 senses, organs located on a vehicle, a container, which the multi-dimensional entity occupies just to experience existence in 3D.
If you want to know my credentials - A former Atheist. I didnt say there is God, I didnt say there is no God. I am just saying....What if God is the one asking the Question...What if you are IT. What if I am IT, what if we are all IT ?
If you are ready to join me in rabbit-hole, and land at the sun as gateway, a wormhole to the next dimension. Then, we can start with me teaching you how to breath, how to look at your palm and know the state of your health if you will die soon.....what if I tell you that you do not know what types of beings have lived and get destroyed on the Earth you walk on billions before things like Humans get even sequenced by the other ETs. They all ask about God. Yet, God they were and we have been told time and again. We refuse to believe because we do not expect to be Gods and be so wicked. You are playing your part in the great orchestra. You will joke about this on the other side.
How do I know all these ? Well, you will soon find out. Oga Billy kpele for my pranks. So how do once activate his Mekaba? |

Sarassin: AlvanT, you don't really need to offer food. Light a white candle on your bedside table on a white saucer with a glass of cold water when you go to bed. Say a short prayer of offering to your ancestral spirits and thank them. I really don't know any by name, our parents made sure we didn't have any knowledge of my maternal granpa's practises, they said it was fetish.I believe the mantras you recommend are affiliated with Hindu dieties. As a prodigal boy that dumped Christianity for atheism and heading back to spirituality, hope Jesus can accomodate me and know I did what I did out of mere curiosity, will Jesus be pissed off I chant Hindu mantras? If yes, then you'll have re-educate me on how to grow spiritually strong as a Christian.Any other practise apart from this religion will attract hostility from family and friends. |

Sarassin is it normal to offer food to spirits? Before my granpa died he was fond of reciting some incantations then throw some of his food on the ground same with drinks...every since I deepened my meditative practise calling on my spirit guide for help. I have this great urge to offer some chunks of my food somehow even to a god I might not know but the urge is strong. What are the implications or did I stumble upon a hungry spirit or something? |

engrchykae: Ojukwu would have achieved that but he made the lethal mistake of making victor banjo the leader of the operation.create a smart army code named operation stab the heart with leap frogging along the way and finally hitting with a well organized pincer followed up immediately by a double envelopement.the rest of the python will just be thrashing aimlessly and in a little time the beast will die. I understand Bro but why Ojukwu charged Banjo with that mission was his knowledge of the west/mid-western terrain and the second being that they were coursemates and best friends during their time of enrollment in the Nigerian Army, not to mention his qualifications too.Speculations have it that Banjo and Ifeajuna were saboteurs( debunked by Alexander Madueke, then Biafran Army Commander),for a pincer formation to be successful it has to be in deep covert and the advancing forces must have thorough knowledge of the terrain (where diaspora personnels comes in).A formidable force must engage the enemy from the front while the others pin them by the flanks.Achuzia was famous for using this formation inspired by Sun Tzu's Art of War,another successful and more well known example is the battle of Kiev (near Stalingrad) in World War II between the Nazi German troops and the Soviet Army. However there are other instances pincer formation has failed woefully due to lack of intell, bad terrain, etc. |

If FG says no regionalism then it has to be Biafra for us all, I know that, but I am saying Regionalism might just be the cucumber stimulating Nigeria to orgasm. I am surprise that you are not pondering. After achieving Regionalism, we weigh our option with a standing police force, and go the Biafra way. Common men, its a smarter move. After the regionalism then secession? 1967 replays again, only probably the Biafrans might have better allies than in the past but the bombing, shelling and destruction will still be in our soil.Let's just watch and see how this turns out. |
