Should be free oh. You can beat this all you need is someone to poliSh what you know and show you what to do ans you develop further. Are you around Abuja? |

As per my moniker which have always believed in... But after my 4th attempt at Ielts on Saturday which I thought will be my last,I think am being affected in a negative way psychological.... My experience based on my standard during that exam wasn't good and though I started having a loss of confidence prior to the exam which I thought I would recover from but in actual fact I never recovered through out that exam... Spent lots of of money already with my ECA ready since last month....I am getting tired, demotivated, exhausted and starting to doubt my ability(Never been through this before considering the exams have sat and passed in time past)...And each time the thought of IELTS comes up and that I never got to achieve passing that exam this year despite all have done I just doesn't feel happy... |

I partially disagree with you on this.. Did you watch the part when even after dropping the mic Trump gets going back at the guy and his organization despite when another journalist was asking him questions... The way Trump attacks them constantly actually make those guys not to respect him that much...Remember respect is earned and reciprocal... I can't remember this happening under Obama or even Bush regime... deebrain: Weeks ago, a dramatic back and forth happened in the White House press sessions between Donald Trump and Jim Acosa of CNN. Trump did his usual blasting calling the reporter an enemy of the people, and CNN should be ashamed having such workers amongst other blasting, while the CNN kept insisting on the President answering his thrown questions (I personally think that was rude)... |

Sir/Ma May God bless u for the patience in giving me the right answers... The problem is from the wrong ielts figures am inserting... After putting the correct figures it now shows that am eligible... Thanks appreciate mcstan18: I see a case of compensating deficiencies. You do not necessarily need to have 4 years of experience to be eligible. Check to ensure that you have high enough language scores and see how many eligibility points it gives you when combined with your educational qualification and age. Your answer may likely like there.
People have passed eligibility with just one year of work experience but with higher educational qualification and language scores. |

Please someone should assist me on this.... I tried filling the express entry for the first time and after filing the eligibility questionnaire.... it keep saying based on my answers that am not eligible.... Further drilling down shows that the error must have occurred when filling the work experience part... I have about 3years and 6 month experience but when I clicked 2-3 years as shown in the picture below it keeps giving the non eligibility error.. but if I changed to 4 yrs it will say am eligible....What can I do? ..

Spouse IELTS 7.5,7.5,7,7 ECA: Masters Nov 2017 Entered the pool Dec. ITA January AOR January 17th 2018 Medical Passed Feb 11th 2018 IP1 Feb 12th 2018 IP2 Feb 27th 2018 Then silence. Not even a single ADR. Ordered 1st GCMS notes April 2018 everything looked perfect. Then complete silence. Ordered 2nd GCMS notes July 2018, this never arrived Wrote Raplh who confirmed Eligibility and Security not yet started. More silence, not even a ghost update October 3rd 2018 ordered 3rd set of GCMS notes. Arrived Nov. 1st. Still same as April notes. My file had not been touched since March 2018. Eligibility and Security not yet started. Wrote a 3rd mail to Ralph on Nov 4th who was gracious enough to respond (Ralph responds only once). He confirmed that my eligibility and security was not yet started and my application cannot be expedited. Nov 8th, like a dream ! my PPR!
Checked email and profile this morning and saw nothing.
By 2pm during my lunch break, I saw a mail notification, I wanted to ignore but decided to check.
I saw a mail from donotreply@cic.gc.ca that I have an update on my profile. I was excited, that finally I am getting a ghost update / adr.
I logged into my cic acct and saw my profile was updated. I was so excited, thinking it was just a ghost update and that finally my file was receiving attention. I wanted to log out but I felt the nudge to proceed and click on view complete application which I did.
Nothing seemed to have changed, my background check was still in process, I was about to log out again, when I felt that urge to scroll further down to the mail section.
I saw I had a new mail, titled request letter. I already concluded that it was an ADR for fresh bank statement. Love and behold, it was the almighty PPR.
I wasn't expecting it to come without an ADR for updated POF since my application had been pending for almost 10months. I lost appetite immediately, and was was just screaming. I couldn't share the news with my colleagues, so I just lied to them that my husband got a new job!.
I am immensely grateful to God Almighty who did not put me to shame. Delay is not denial. Though it tarries, it must surely come.
Thank you all for all the love and support.
Off to take my pictures and submit tomorrow.
This year has been so challenging. hubby and I lost our jobs, all our money tied at POF, we were feeding from Hand to mouth and struggled to pay school fees. Infact this September, we had to change their schools to a very cheap school.
God bless you all. |

Thanks and really appreciate ...Seems there is no other way than to do a follow up and pray that the document they sent get to WES untampered and fast... mcstan18: Nigeria's love affair with WES is already strained by trust issues, so more often than not they've indicated that "...transcripts were not sent from the awarding institution..." in some people's profile for reasons I may not be privy to. A safer thing to do is follow up aggressively on the ICAN guys to do what they must. Pelee my dear. |

Please could someone help... WES sent a request both electronically and by post to ICAN for them to verify my ATS certificate... ICAN said that WES often times don't receive mails from them which means they won't do electronic verification... But that they have received the other one they sent by Post and they will reply them by post...I called there office last week they said they have sent the verification confirmation by NIPOST which to me is not safe and don't even know when it will get there since it can't be tracked...
So the question is if possible I tell ICAN to do another verification for me.. can I collect it from then and send by courier myself, though verification is expected to originate from issuing institution.....ICAN had practically delayed my ECA by one month now.... |

Thanks for the advise and kind words.. really do appreciate Sthill5: I wrote with MOD on my 2nd and 3rd attempts and I ended up with 6.5 in writing both times. I ran back to BC and aced it on my 4th.
People have passed with MOD too so no one knows for sure but my advice is to practice really hard! I had the pleasure of putting my practice notebooks away yesterday and I realised i was doing 8-10 practise tests per day. I mainly used www.ieltsonlinetests.com for listening then switched to YouTube when I was done with it. Reading was ieltsfever and mini-ielts.com
Writing was Ieltsliz both her free and paid resources
I never really touched speaking. I think the first 3 attempts gave me enough experience.
Just keep at improving. I think what also helped me was that I wasn't just preparing for IELTS but used it as an.opportunity to improve my English and reading passages gave me some knowledge on different range of topics I would ordinarily not seek out. You'll do great as long as you practice and it becomes a part of you. |

But the thing is just with the various reviews online,is it likely for one to get an upgrade in reading?... But since remark is a bit cheaper in BC than MOD you could give it a try....All the best bro... I will probably just go for a re-sit Swansy10: I perfectly understand how you must be feeling. I also just got my result LRWS - 8.0,6.5,7.0,8.0 (1st attempt)(BC) Reading was the easiest in my opinion and I was so sure I would get atleast an 8.0. I am planning on going to their office tomorrow to ask for a remark but that 10 weeks waiting time scares me. |

Bro u don't know how this words mean to me... All I need is just words of encouragement now... And this words surely did that.. Like u said I was reasoning going back to BC which I will surely do... Thanks and all the best to you. youngRx: I understand how you feel dear. exams are often like that. especially that Reading section. even during practice, one will think they are acing it only to get the shock of their lives when they get to the answers page. i don't have much experience to guide u with, as I'm still trying to taste the IELTS waters myself, but one thing i know for sure is that nothing beats good practice... practice always!
i think you should take like two months break before registering for the next test to enable you practice some more.
i doubt if a remark in Reading will come out positive, as it is highly objective, and if it won't come out positive, even an upgraded Speaking scores will do you no good. as for whether to write with BC or MOD, i don't think it really matters. people who switched from one body to another and got positive outcomes may have practiced harder or worked on their weaknesses from the previous test. still, if i were you, I'd go back to BC...for sentimental reasons only, since you had better scores with them. Sentiments have a way of boosting one's confidence, and confidence can make the difference between success and failure.
Lastly, like your monica clearly says, you shoukd always be positive. Giving up is not an option at all. Nah....not after you have come this far.
Surely as the Lord liveth, your next IELTS will be your last attempt...but you must practice hard and well.
all the best dear. |

Thanks for this. First attempt:LRWS- 7.5,8.5,6.5,7.0. BC 18/8 Second attempt : LRWS - 8.0,6.5,7.0,5.5. MOD 29/9 What actually amazed me was that my strength has always been reading I felt I did very well even to level that am currently thinking of a remark cos I kept wondering how I could I miss close to like 14 questions in that test to warrant a 6.5 in reading but when I read that getting an improvement in reading is difficult I just weak. And for that speaking,am also having issues being that I did so well in fact i probably did better in the second attempt than in my first attempt when I got a 7.0 ...imagine 5.5 telling me am an average user of English. Though still thinking of paying the 46k for EOR for both reading and speaking(which I doubting whether is a good option considering the cost) Since I got that result am just in a dilemma of what next to do cos this last result really damned my confidence. I just weak. even if am to write again should I just go back to BC or stick with MOD cos the score I had in speaking for MOD has started making me to have some negative feelings about them. youngRx: Really I'm quite surprised that some people are even considering "giving up" after a failed IELTS attempt. give up and do what exactly?? when will y'all understand that in this journey "giving up" is NOT an option...you CAN'T give up.
if you failed an attempt, register for the next! if you don't have the money yet, save up! if you're scared of rewriting, chill, give yourself more time to practice and go write it! but whatever you do, you just CANNOT give up!
For to "give up" is to die, and we aint dying. Nah!...not today. we goan live a long fulfilled life IN CANADA!
We live to fight another day guys....keep hope alive. |
