I don't think anyone has. Maybe 3 days to the screening, invites will be sent.

Aunty, when you go on Saturday, you'd know what day your state of origin will be screened.
Everything is based on who's invited first. If you're not called for screening, you can't think of a center.

sometimes, I look at your posts with all sense of pity. Your problem is joblessness. You appear very frustrated. Use the time you spend here playing an ethnic jingoist to go learn a skill. You seriously need help.

what empty-headed iPod yoot like you don't understand is, a southsoutherner trust a Hausa man from the north than he trust his Ibo neighbor.
Condemn the action of the youth who constituted themselves into an authority and stop being stupid.

Didn't Ibo and bayelsan clash last time? Is that unity too?

The famous Muslim cleric and a principal figure in the Tijjaniyya sect, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi has called on the federal government not to give the Igbo’s the biafra nation, rather sit them on the same table along other ethnic nationalities to chart ways out for the economic prospect and peaceful coexistence of a united Nigeria.

Knowing full well that 95% will not read the full article but just the headline, why do we wickedly and deliberately choose to sensationalize a news piece by giving it a misleading headline? This country wrecks of evil.
nairaland is more guilty of this crime.

This Evans guy should just face the firing squad already! All his properties should be confiscated, then sold off to refund at least 80% of the ransom he received from his victims. The heart of man is just purely evil!

I cannot believe that some e-diots are somewhere chanting #FreeEvans after he caused so many families sleepless nights and pains. ODIEGWU!!
I just dunno how Ibo people reason most times. How can anyone ask the authority to free Evans ? Except you're worst than him.

Thanks. Moreso, when you take into consideration that this is a rigid concrete pavement. People who had done the decking of their house will tell you that the cost of the concrete decking is about the same amount they spent to take the house to the lintel level. Concrete deck or pavement are expensive, but they last more than just asphaltic pavement with laterite base course.
this is what I highlighted to one of those errorconomics(to borrow your term).

What is the difference between that and Jungle Justice??

or because he isn't dead yet?

There are too many ErrORconomist on Nairaland.

Here is a link to a study conducted by African Development Bank on Road Infrastructure Cost.
it shows that depending on the length of the road with shorter distance costing more, cost of rehabilitation of paved roads could be up to $1,200,000 USD / Lane Km.
The Apapa road @ 3 lanes each way, makes a total of 6 lanes. 6 lanes multiply by 2 km gives 12 km. Multiply 12 km by $1,000,000 x N360 /$ , it puts the construction cost at N4.32 Billion Naira

i think it's bout time we accepted some of these words as Nigerian english, just as british accepted some America words as American English.

i think words like go slow and packer should be recognized as Nigerian english already and not incorrect english.

remember different English speaking countries with their brand of english, it can't be the same. Americans, british,Australia, canada, Caribbeans all have different versions of english, so why can't we accept the one we speak here(some words actually) as Nigeria english?.

NOTE:im not dumb, im just tryna be logical.
this is what they fail to understand.

2) Pepperish (Peppery)
3) Packer (Dust pan)
4) Trafficate. (Take a turn)
5) Plate number (Number Plate)
6) Cunny (Cunning)
7) Water system (Water Cistern)
cool Installmentally (Installments)
9) Opportuned (Opportune)
10) Go-Slow (Congested traffic)
11) Next tomorrow (a day after tomorrow)
12) Garri turner (Spatula)
13) One of my friend (One of my friends)
14) Bending corner (Bend or corner)
15) Extreme end (Extreme or end)
16) Running stomach (Runny stomach)
17) Running nose (Runny nose)
18) Suckawell (Soak away)
19) Advices (Pieces of advice)

Please contribute yours!!!
Nobody is above mistakes and corrections!

Let's learn together!
Nigerians don't take "trafficate" to mean "take a turn" , they take it as a verb or to describe the blinking light that indicate that you're about to take a turn .

Evans isn't this stupid.
he's a smart and very intelligent criminal...no doubt. The moment he was arrested, his reaction showed he's deadly , but soft too.

Sometimes, when you're caught, you don't need to be beaten before you let out information. Your system crave for some internal peace and you get this peace by revealing everything you've kept as a secret.
