Politics / Re: Time Magazine Names Tinubu Among 100 Most Influential People Of 2023 by alxirabor(m): 7:01pm On Apr 13, 2023
Why not if not. He must be even among the top 10 most influential men in Africa. Somebody that can financially influence INEC chairman and his team in Nigeria. He should be awarded the best election rigger of the century. A country where criminality and political frudsters are celebrated.
Politics / Re: 2023: He Is Reason I Call Lagos Home, Okocha Endorses Tinubu by alxirabor(m): 10:18am On Jan 14, 2023
Because of okocha selfishness, greed and self centeredness even on the pitch of football, that was why he could not win anything in football. Anyways, they are of the same characteristics. He has even ridiculed self the more. Imagine Jay Jay Okocha, is into betting business, making youths to be idle and not innovative. Now he has collected money from his clueless friend, who believe that Also rock is a retirement centre. May their evil plan against Nigeria youths never prosper. Nigeria must be great again.

This life is a misery, look at a dirty man living in an unkept and dirty environment, I wonder the kind of food he will be eating as a described dirty man, he could live for 94 years, while most of us who eat good food drive big cars, millions of naira and dollars in our accounts with sound education and good jobs, cannot even leave up till 80 years. God knows how to balance life. Fare well and Rest in peace Sir.

Politics / Re: The Moment Peter Obi Forgot All He Crammed For The CNN Interview! by alxirabor(m): 5:49am On Sep 19, 2022
Peter Obi is the first presidential candidate to appear on and be interviewed by the CNN, and personally he performed wonderfully. When I was writing corporate law exams in the university, there were some cases I had to cram to deliver at the examination Hall and when the results came out, I passed. So if Peter Obi had even crammed the answer to the question,it mean we are projecting a presidential candidate that have a very sharp and active brain. We are waiting for your presidential candidate to even appear on our local television for interview.
No propaganda can reduce PO's personality come 2023.

Somebody stated that Covid19 is airborne disease, please this is a misleading information. Coronavirus is not an airborne disease, the substance is too heavy to be in the air. We are wearing face mask because of the droplets from contacted persons. Browse NCDC and get informed

Politics / Re: Women Storm Aba In Support Of Ikpeazu, Lampoon Anti-Governor Protesters (Photos by alxirabor(m): 5:00am On Oct 09, 2019
This is what is killing the state called Abia. With the rate of poverty and poorverty in the state, 500 hundred naira each can fulfil such demonstration. Some days ago because some Aba women came out to protest against the governor inability to fix road and create better living for the people, now his myopic and shallow minded villagers are drumming support for him. I only laugh for the future of their children.
Politics / Re: Osinbajo Inspects The Statues Constructed By Okorocha In Imo (Photos) by alxirabor(m): 12:00am On Aug 15, 2019
This is a big shame to whoever that posted these images. These structures exist no doubt but there are no road to reach or access these places. How can u brand buses with PDP stickers and logos and call them school buses? Dear friends there is nothing like school buses in Abia state. Even Borno state where Bokoharam has destroyed is far developed, has good infrastructures and good road network than Abia state. If this person know what is assigned or allocatted to Abia state in federal budget and also know the internally generated revevue, he will hide himself in shame and ask God to remove all these bad leaders and bring those that will see the plight of the people of Abia and rescue them from it present dundeon.

I don't know why Abia state would want to be the last when it comes to payment of money. Service has been rendered and federal government has bisbursed and mobilized all the states so why are they delaying. I just hope they have not gone to deposit the money in fix deposit to yield interest for them.

Religion / Re: Why Do We Pray With Candle? by alxirabor(m): 11:00am On Feb 10, 2019
The Old Testament

The Old Testament speaks of the faithful preparing an altar in the temple of the Lord where incense, burnt offerings and lamp stands or candlesticks are used as they come before the Lord to worship him. Lamps and candle sticks are lighted as worthy offerings to God who dwells in the temple where the faithful come to offer prayers of thanksgiving and implore God’s forgiveness for every wrongdoing.

“You shall make a lamp stand of pure beaten gold, its shaft and branches, with its cups and knobs and petals springing directly from it. Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lamp stand, three branches on one side, and three on the other……You shall then make seven lamps for it and so set up the lamps that they shed their light on the space in front of the lamp stand. These, as well as the trimming shears and trays, must be of pure gold.” (Exodus 25:31-38)

“On it Aaron shall burn fragrant incense. Morning after morning, when he prepares the lamps, and again in the evening twilight, when he lights the lamps, he shall burn incense. Throughout your generations this shall be the established incense offering before the Lord.” (Exodus 30:7-cool

“He placed the lamp stand in the meeting tent, opposite the table, on the south side of the Dwelling, and he set up the lamps before the Lord, as the Lord had commanded him.” (Exodus 40:24-25)

“They burn holocausts to the Lord and fragrant incense morning after morning and evening after evening; they display the showbread on the pure table, and the lamps of the golden lamp stand burn evening after evening; for we observe our duties to the Lord, our God, but you have abandoned him.” (2 Chronicles 13:11)

“They made new sacred vessels and brought the lamp stand, the altar of incense, and the table into the temple. Then they burned incense on the altar and lighted the lamps on the lamp stand, and these illuminated the temple.” (1 Maccabees 4:49-50)

“After purifying the temple, they made a new altar. Then, with fire struck from flint, they offered sacrifice for the first time in two years, burned incense, and lighted lamps. They also set out the showbread.” (2 Maccabees 10:3)

The New Testament

The New Testament speaks of Christ’s followers creating light, not only to serve as offering to God, but to be in communion with him. As these lights symbolize Christ, the Light of the world, the faithful who come together in prayer illumines their lives and those they have come to pray for. And their light shall shine forth so others can see the Glorious God who comes to mankind to be one with them in a life that was truly theirs from the beginning of time

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lamp stand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:14-16)

“He said to them, 'Is a lamp brought in to be placed under a bushel basket or under a bed, and not to be placed on a lamp stand? For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible; nothing is secret except to come to light.’”(Mark 4:21-22)

“No one who lights a lamp hides it away or places it under a bushel basket, but on a lamp stand so that those who enter might see the light.” (Luke 11:33)

“For a tabernacle was constructed, the outer one, in which were the lamp stand, the table, and the bread of offering; this is called the Holy Place.” (Hebrews 9:2)
