Yes, Orlu is a village, according to you and your principal, but we love the village. But Orlu village gave your principal the highest number of votes each of his two election contests. He became governor, started to regurgitate ancient prejudices and tales, and uses them to under-develop the Orlu village. More people were in Orlu before 2011 when Okorocha became governor than now.

How could Rochas Okorocha come to office and his earliest act is tear down a sports stadium built by a most reputable foreign construction company, a company that specializes in building sports stadium. And since five years he couldn't provide a new one?

Below is a hole dug by Okoroocha at centre of Orlu to collect rain flood, instead of completing an urban drainage system started by a former Imo governor from Bende area.

The Agents of Imo State Government, Saturday, bulldozed the fence housing the secretariat of the people’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the state.

The fence of the secretariat which was situated at Okigwe road in Owerri, the state capital, was brought down when the destruction equipments came ragging along other structures on the street in the ongoing demolition spree cum razzmatazz in the state capital.

The officials of the state Government have explained that the demolition exercise currently going on in the state capital was in line with Governor Rochas Okorocha effort in dualizing and beautifying the metropolis which they claim is one of the fastest growing cities in the country.

Orlu Road, Akwakuma, Mbari Street, MCC road, Okigwe road , Ikenegbu layout all in the state capital have been visited in the demolition spree and structures have been demolished .

The Owerri branch of the Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, is currently at daggers drown with the state Government following an alarm it raised that the Government wants to demolish it property situated on Orlu Road in the capital city.

[b]The students of Alvan Ikeokwu federal College of Education, Owerri, Saturday, staged a peaceful protest over the Government’s plan to demolish the only walk Lane flyover on the campus, demanding that a new one should be built before the existing one be demolished.

The state Government was also in war of words with ex minister of interior, Capt Emmanuel Iheanacho who was the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the 2015, Governorship election in the state, following the plan by the state to demolish his property on Orlu Road in Owerri.[/b]

The ex interior minister later instituted a legal action against the state Governor and six others and consequently obtained an order from Federal High court, Owerri, through an experta motion he filed. But the Governor personally supervised the bulldozing of the fence of his house less than 24 hours the order was issued by Justice Lewis Alagoa.
