AfoltundeOG:But Igbo people have been asking to leave Nigeria in peace manner, after three years most brutal civil war in recent history, you still blackmail Igbo people to remain with you in the most dysfunctional country on earth called Nigeria, because of crude oil, because you don't understand that crude oil is not all there is for a country to survive on. |
SilasNwude:Apart from that, who in the world, apart from some crude oil for one Nigeria Nigerians, sees Nigeria as a worthy country? Nigerians needed to travel outside Nigeria to see how low this country is placed. |
phayvoursky:Akpabio made himself the most distrusted man, not only politically irrelevant. Perhaps, not even his close family members trust him now. Buhari must have distrusted him long ago. Akpabio shot himself on the feet. |
The worst Judas of Akwa Ibom should have no more place in PDP. He is like the proverbial dog who ate the bones hung on its neck. |
Nathdoug201:What did Rochas do bad here? Read before comment next time. |
Kangaroo Courts doing what they must do. Atiku's threat to break Nigeria is gathering momentum. There are parts of Nigeria that don't tolerate dictatorship. Already, Nigeria's 36 states and Abuja fraudulent political structure created by northern soldiers, with a whooping number of 19 states and Abuja in one northern region under unitary governance system, has damaged Nigeria irreversibly. Adding dictatorship of president Buhari to the pains of the fraudulent political structure is like being pushed to the wall for some Nigerian regions. |
Aonkuuse:.... getting to Idi Amin's type of Uganda. Who did this to Nigerians? |
CosmoDroid:Yes. Okorocha is not mad but con man. His new talk about new tertiary education institutions in Imo state is on how to deceive the new gov and Imo people to let Okorocha have the Eastern Palm University in Ogboko built with state funds, but labelled 90% private and 10% govt ownership. |
LuciferOverseer:Unfortunately, a Yoruba man bite the policeman in Vicenza. |
Buhari says he is more qualified than Atiku and challenges Atiku to present his credentials. Puhaaaa. Unjust proliferation of 20 states in one northern region, but only 17 states in the Southern regions, makes the Buharis and Atikus win presidential election. A presidential candidate must win 25% of votes in 24 states before declared winner. Southern Nigeria has better qualified persons but they can't win Nigeria's presidential election, unless north is tired of ruling Nigeria. When shall southern politicians see that the proliferation of excess number of states in the northern region makes southern politicians onlookers to north? Equity between the regions that formed a country should have been the yardstick to determine where and how many new states and local government areas should be created, not land mass or population statistics. Is there any other country in the world whose political structure was created by soldiers from one region? Is there any other country in the world whose constitution was supervised by soldiers from one region? Only Nigeria |
CottenTees:Where were police when armed robbers were operating in the farmstead? A true police formation would nip such robbery in the bud. |
Naijaguy123:Nigerians are killed in thousands periodically. How many world leaders have consoled you and your president Buhari. Even foreign media seemed to have been influenced by Nigeria's authorities to avoid broadcast of the killings in Nigeria. The IOCs and their home govts sustain Buhari live and as president of rotting Nigeria. Enjoy and celebrate your being in bondage. Do you ever think: why Buhari as president of Nigeria which has younger, better educated, less corrupt and more qualified leaders than Buhari ![]() ![]() |
Chizuru01:The Buhari man is like he was born to be a source of pain for Nigerians. |
Islie:BBC, IOCs and their home govts, Buhari & cabal = Nigerians in bondage. Buhari is just a figure head. What does Buhari know about governance, economic growth and job creation? |
From the results of guber elections countrywide, Buhari didn't win presidential election. Who in his right senses would vote Buhari for second term in the face of all the hardships in. Nigeria? |
carterguccy:Judas of (Iscariot) Ubima. Use and throway.
|
alfredo4u:Our Custom Officers? Lol. They are in every five kilos from Onitsha head bridge to Lagos chasing Igbo traders with imported containers. |
Pity southerners who build landed property in Abuja where no southerner would never be appointed Abuja City boss. |
Busy body or poorly educated govs who don't understand the differences between the Executive, Legislative and Judicial arms of govt. |
Iblad0994:If Pakistan is still with India as one country today, India would have been hell, the poorest country in the world because of violence. A brother of yours who detests work shall always be a setback for you. You must be pretending yourself to hell to say you wouldn't mind your brother's refusal to work,; just as you sharpened your crude-oil-for-one-Nigeria mouth to lampoon the person who showed no tolerance for persons who don't like work. |
Who voted Buhari for 2nd term? Neither north, nor south, neither east, nor west. So who? |
SoNature:Jobless man that lives on Nairaland. mistaco is also your moniker. Even the arinzeejinkeonye is you. Jump into the Atlantic Ocean because Orlu is mentioned here. Who is writing for Rochas here? |
mistacoco:You should have been worried with the fact that 42 years after Imo state was created, Owerri is the only place worth it in the state. Greed and badly educated governors are responsible. what business do you have with nonikers? |
Since Mid 2013, people of the 12 local government areas of Orlu zone watch Gov. Rochas Okorocha's development of Owerri and Okigwe areas. Orlu zone remains the least developed in Imo state. In this 2010 video, Rochas Okorocha said he was on the governorship race for the interest of Orlu zone. Orlu zone heard him and voted him highest in 2011. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqqlyhIxUMc |
Ecstasy154:$1 billion? Not N1 billion? Who does not know what $1 billion amounts to? Oh My God, I weep to you as I watch Nigeria being bled dry. Bleeding Nigeria dry. Bleeding Nigeria dry in the name of fighting Boko Haram which says it's fighting for a country to be ruled by Islamic Sharia Criminal codes. In 2001, this same Muhammadu Buhari told a large gathering of Muslims that he would not stop until Islamic Sharia criminal codes are used all over Nigeria. God where are you as this is happening? |
DonKachiERA:As usual, Imo State reduced to Rochas' Owerri. As Imo people assess Gov. Okorocha based on his accomplishments in Owerri; but ignore the fact that Imo State extends beyond Owerri; pretend that they don't understand that the federal allocations to the 27 lgas of Imo State are for the development of these lgas, not for development of only Owerri, as Rochas now do; how then do Imo people bring Okorocha to account for his stewardship? It's obvious that as only Owerri gets most of Okorocha's development infrastructures, while the other 24 lgas remain rural, it's not possible that the allocations of the 27 lgas are totally utilized on Owerri. So where are the rest of the allocations? The foul drive to build a Mega City in Owerri while rest of Imo State, especially Orlu and Okigwe, remain glorified villages, 31 years after Imo state was created, has made Imo the least developed among the southeast states. As most of Imo State migrate to Owerri, the only city with modern development infrastructures in Imo State, at one point, Owerri shall be overwhelmed with overpopulation and attendant social vices. Imo people need to condemn the practice of relegating other towns in Imo State to endless rural status, in pursuit of mindless project of Owerri Mega City. |
arinzeejikonye:Fair attempt at assessing the gross and unjust disparity in levels of development between the three senatorial districts in Imo State. Imo State is unique in the country as far as concerned using the allocations of the local government areas meant for development infrastructures in these local government areas on Owerri. This amounts to economically empower the indigenous land owners in Owerri, but impoverishing rest of Imo State. Like someone suggested earlier on this thread, it's necessary that Imo people be educated on the dangers this disparity portends. Two issues are: 1, many people in Owerri district have now taken it as a given that it's the duty of the state government to establish literally every development project that is due to Imo State in the state capital, Owerri. It's hard to convince them now that a state capital is merely the seat of government, not a place where the state governors invest most of the infrastructures in the state, but abandon the rest of the state. 2) the incumbent state governor, Okorocha, who has taken the practice of Imo of One Owerri City, to a higher level seems to have indulged in that as a punishment for an area of the state he bears deep grudges against. So no matter what complaints from people outside the state capital, he is not looking back. |
wristbangle:They are fighting ghosts of PDP. Because nearly every politician in Nigeria is now in APC. |
Mogidi:Ha ha ha. For Nigeria? Fight against kwarrupcion under Buhari is fight against political opponents. You no see how APC has absorbed nearly all the PDP members accused of corruption. What's left in PDP still are the brave politicians with political convictions ready to weather any Storm. |
