Opobo people are like "biracials" . They are a meeting point of breeding between Igbos and Ijaws. Intertrading, Intermarriage, Migration etc brought that close. But the Ijaw conscienceness in Opobo is STRONGER than that of the Igbos. They lean towards ijaw and are part of INC. Thats the bitter truth. |

hammerF: I listed all the groups in Rivers that share in Port Harcourt. It is basically a no mans land.
Any metropolis that size ought to be a no mans land. another show of lack of diplomacy. So it is now a No man's land? |

paschu: Of course, those are instances of reality and delusion to you, no doubt. But is it the same way from everyone's point of view? Not sure.
I actually wonder why you did not ponder one bit on the Lagos/Eko analogy which someone gave to you a while back. and who are the everybody? Did the ogbakor ikwerre whose land make up majority of PH tell the world that the new name of PH is Igweocha? |

paschu: Good to hear that dear.
But I honestly think that the ultimate delusion may be the innocent assumption that your reality appears the same way in another person's point of view. The reality here is Port harcourt is Portharcourt. The delusion is Port harcourt being turned into igweocha. |

hammerF: Yeye Asa girl, u were suppose to teachdat Okirika boy a lesson. you guys have a lot to learn. Thank God for Chief John Nnia Nwodo, lets hope he will bring a strong Organisation, Cohesion and Centralisation to Igbo nation. Yes I am an oyigbo lady and I am proudly Igbo but Can I speak for Ikwerre or Ekpeye people? NO. Those people will speak for themselves. Igbo identity is not for sale. Until ikwerres or ekpeye generally accept being Igbo, I will not address them as Igbos. |

Warship: When did you become the spokeswoman for the Ikwerres.?
Did the Ikwerres tell you that they are deaf and dumb.?
Why drink paracetamol on their matter.?
Why can't you just allow the Ikwerres online to take their stand are you an ikwerre? Are you from Rivers? The ikwerres that are denying being Igbo and not yet integrated fully into the Igbo nation? The ikwerres don't call it Igweocha either, PH is the name. Simple. So what are you talking about? |

AtlanticBreeze: Their is nothing wrong in calling Port Harcourt igweocha just like people call Lagos Eko and the rest. I have not really verified the igweocha name thing but if it's tru, then there is nothing wrong with decsribing port harcourt as such. There is everything wrong in calling it Igweocha. Go and read the controversies surrounding Ph city, A wise person always learn from experience and apply it to conduct. Port harcourt is Port harcourt. End of story. Go and rename Enugu or Owerri. Leave PH alone |

TonyeBarcanista: Despite the provocation of IPod yoots, I have never made any statement against the great Igbo nation.
I always know that IPOD is not same as Igbo tribe.
But clarity needs to be made...
Good morning morning too. The documents and history of Port harcourt is documented. Renaming it Igweocha is undiplomatic and silly. Just ignore them. |

TonyeBarcanista: You are talking of 1959 when there was Igbo dominated Eastern Region.
Meanwhile as far back as 1912, the Ijaws (Okrika) signed the first treaty with the British for the establishment of Portharcourt. A second treaty was entered with Rebisi Chiefs (Ikwerre) (brokered by Ijaws) in 1913. That was prior to amalgamation.
Go and collect it back oga Sir if you aren't satisfied with the status quo Tonye, I expect you to be controlling your emotions. Listen to me, Life don't begin and end on social media. Don't stain your APDA Party position with unwarranted ethnic jingoism. Port harcourt is still port harcourt, nobody have and will ever change the name. Just ignore these Ipob stuffs. Did Ohanaeze ndi Igbo call PH Igweocha? So don't be moved in antagonising Igbos due to Ipob. An ethnic jingoist don't make a good politician. And To IPOBs. Port Harcourt is Port Harcourt. Take that Igweocha crap and flush it away pls. |

How've you been? Fam's being taken good care of I presume.
Have a lovely day ahead. Igbos need a voice to fight marginalised but I don't want a voice that will end up attracting huge enemity for the Igbos. Protesting in Lagos is looking for Yoruba trouble and attracting backlash to the law abiding Igbos doing business and living in Lagos. Kanu goofed on this one. He is turning into an arrogant man. Lack of diplomacy is one of the key problems in Problem. |

If this is meant to counter my early writeup, then its faulty. My thread was to encourage broke guys and not to castigate them. My thread was to tell them the need and importance of financial stability before marriage. You are just giving them a fantasy filled with delusion. Many working class ladies want a man with the same or higher earning level, so that they can be comfortable in marriage. Everybody have a choice including women, so the best advice for a broke guy is for him to work hard, put in effort and have a financial breakthrough before thinking of marriage. Women should also have something doing and not be a financial liability. Thanks. |
