Politics / Re: APC Convention: South West Unity List Is Released by amaridigital(m): 5:29pm On Mar 26, 2022 |
Jones4190:. If APC wins, Rochas should be considered for the post of Senate president. He's a detribalized and intelligent fella most Nigerians can trust. He's highly qualified to contest for president but the permutations are against him for now because his region is PDP stronghold and apc wouldnt want to gamble. |
Politics / Re: PDP Tells INEC Not To Monitor APC's National Convention On Saturday by amaridigital(m): 8:50pm On Mar 24, 2022 |
Peterosky: Apc is in deep shit brother. If they ignore the valid points raised here by PDP then it will make the job easier for the opposition party. The ghost of Oshiomhole will continue to torment the party and will appear when least expected just like the sacking of Umahi. Buhari has ruined that party. How can a party be run by caretaker commitee for two years? Pdp will challenge every action taken by the commitee. They are just waiting for the right time to strike. 1 Like 1 Share |

patriotic007: Russia alone has 5977 nuclear warheads and high precision long rangei unmanned missile systems like the SATAN2 while the combined nuclear war heads owned by NATO is 5943. Remember that India, China, North Korea, Pakistan are nuclear power nations that have refused to support the west so far. You and I know that China and North Korea are Russia's allies . In a nuclear warfare, Russia doesn't even need any support with their almost 6000 warheads. You guys wish Joe Biden should start a nuclear war with Russia and when your wishes comes through I hope there will be enough time for you to say your last prayer. People calling for restrain understands what is at stake and the global impact of a nuclear war involving Russia. It is going to be mutual assured destruction. Don't forget the word ASSURED. I just don't understand why Russia invested so much in nuclear weapons instead of viable consumable products like China and Japan. 1 Like 1 Share |

AshiwajuFoward: I don't also understand the reason why Ohanaeze specifically singled out Mr. Tinubu of all the aspirants in APC and PDP not to talk of the other political parties. That message should have been directed to all aspirants from all the regions. Afenifere already canvassed support for igbo candidates without much fanfare and what looks like blackmail. 2 Likes |
Politics / Re: Putin Mocks US: Western ‘Attempt To Have Global Dominance Is Coming To An End by amaridigital(m): 10:17am On Mar 17, 2022 |
joyandfaith: China is supporting Russia so is India which is the world's largest democracy. Everyone is tired of the western dominance. Just yesterday, China opposed the decision of the ICC asking Russia to withdraw from Ukraine. Brazil and South Africa are also not supporting the west. That's more than half of the world's human population not supporting them. I'm not supporting the invasion but reasonable people all over the world are now questioning the west based on their illegal wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and other parts of the world. I was in New Zealand when the US invaded Iraq and the NZ Prime Minister then Mrs. Helen Clark who opposed the war was almost shedding tears on national TV . She wasn't happy that a big nation was bombarding a less powerful one without a UN resolution. The bombing and destruction was so much and I later saw on TV how American soldiers were happy stealing Iraqi gold. 2 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Which Other 2023 Presidential Aspirant Is As Serious As Tinubu? by amaridigital(m): 8:29pm On Mar 16, 2022 |
temmyblaze001: Don't you think it will be really difficult for you to convince intelligent voters not to vote for Tinubu because he's desperate? How can you call a first time presidential aspirant desperate? If you use that word to qualify him how will voters view Atiku who has contested at least 4 times now? The best way to tackle Tinubu is to show the electorate that the doesn't have any solid plan to move the nation forward because he hasn't shown any up till now except talking about the so called life time ambition. Let it be issue based not hatred or insult based. If you continue to criticise him based on sentiment and unfounded hatred and rain insults at him, trust me people will begin to see him as a victim as time goes on and I promise you that the table will turn in his favour. If Tinubu becomes president of Nigeria, it won't be because of his rigorous campaign or political influence but it will be as a result of this unending hate campaign, and personal attacks against his person. When people begin to feel there is a gang up against someione, they will react differently. This happened to Buhari during the 2014 election campaign remember. Spend more time in promoting someone you consider a better alternative rather than pulling Tinubu down because if you spend the next six month doing that without presenting a better alternative, I'm afraid people will still vote for him no matter what you say. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Tinubu Asks APC Senators To Support His "lifetime ambition to be President" by amaridigital(m): 5:28pm On Mar 16, 2022 |
Smartini: The thing tire me oh. This meeting with the Senate Caucus today really shows how much Tinubu's age has affected his once admired intellect. This will be the second time this year he will be talking about his life time ambition rather than stating the reasons why he's the best man to rescue or move Nigeria forward at this period in time. His handlers really goofed on this one. I was expecting a great speech. What a lost opportunity! Life time ambition! Must Nigerians support an ambition without knowing the details how it will benefit them? 1 Like |

Bounceboune7: Be very sensitive please. Majority of people from south east were sensitive to the plight of Sunday Igboho and they were glad when he was released. Kanu himself was supportive of Sunday Igboho. These two men were fighting the same enemy ravaging the south, destroying our farms, raping our women. If you continue to mock Kanu, you are not a true Yoruba son or daughter. You may not agree with the way he carried out his agitation but his motives are genuine and understandable. 3 Likes |

Adakintroy: Yes, Biden has more votes than Obama because there are more voters in this election than in other elections held in the US for more than 100 years. Please check that fact! That's why the counting of ballots has been ongoing for almost a week now. More people want to see Trump out of the white house. Why is Trump who is the incumbent president complaining of electoral fraud against an ordinary citizen whom he called sleepy Joe? Shame on all the sleepy supporters of the racist Trump. Americans have made their choice. He has until January to vacate the white house and allow a saner administration clean his mess. 3 Likes |

Why is the opposition blowing this out of proportion to burn Lagos? Lives were lost in Ibadan including police officers. Lives were lost in other places. Why are we not talking about those? Lots of people were happy when Oshiomole got booted out as APC chairman just because they thought this will destroy Tinubu politically. He's not a Governor or a Senator. Let us be objective in our analysis. Some say he brought this government upon them yet every region, state,, senatorial district is well represented in this Nigeria today either as Governors, senators, house if Rep members, ministers, judiciary etc. Tinubu is not one of this. If you are angry Tinubu brought this government upon us, you can choose not to participate in the government by recalling all the senators and Rep members from your state or region nah. Your elected representatives and governors collects monthly allocation from the FG and all you do is to blame Tinubu for lack of development. Why? Face the policuans in your state and regious either elected or appointed. Tinubu is just an ordinary citizen for now. Be honest with yourself. Politics / Re: Tinubu: I Didn't Travel To France And I am Still The Jagaban by amaridigital(m): 10:24pm On Oct 24, 2020 |
AbidexFIRE: A golden word deserving to be engraved on a marble you have up there. One thing I learnt about all these is that leadership is important in human affairs. Right there in the bible and even in the Koran there were political and religious leaders. Leaders must be honoured and respected. There is only one tribe in Africa that always boast they don't bow to no one. They have no regard or respect for elders and leaders both political, religious or traditional. Even the British people respects the Queen. Yoruba people are known to have respect for their leaders from time immemorial that's why i believe that anyone responsible for the destruction of the palace of Oba of Lagos will not go scot free. It might even affect his/her generation unborn. Asiwaju Tinubu, Fayose, Bode George, Obasanjo are our leaders and we respect them all. Yorubas don't have leaders that run away as fugitives and give orders hiding under the bed for years. Fajuyi, Abiola, Gani, Fela, Beko, Awolowo stood their ground against oppression and tyranny. The major reason the Endsars protests failed was because there were no clear cut objectives. They achieved their demand for police reform but immediately they tried to put more demands forward, there were different voices and conflicting demands. They don't even know when to negotiate or retreat. This gave an opportunity for political vultures and thugs to hijack the protest. Leadership was lacking at the crucial moment we needed it most. The vice president and the youthful Lagos Governor were willing to listen but there was no youth leader to negotiate with. Imagine the 5 point demand put forward was so weak that the Government agreed to them almost immediately. There were free-for-all protests across major cities where Aisha Yesufu, Falz, Davido and few Nollywood stars were competing for attention. We lost a golden opportunity to demand for the implementation of the last confab report and it was painful. Almost all the demands of the youths are already in that report. I'm sure if that was the only demand made by the youths of Nigeria, we would have been heading somewhere by now. There was no leader. Leadership demands serious responsibilities. Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. Tinubu builds people as much as he builds his businesses. Ghandi, Mandela, Martin Luther King led powerful revolutions by paying the price. |

Even when election is over. No one talked about Atiku again even though he was labelled as a corrupt politician during the campaign. Nobody attack Peter Obi again but these people can't stop attacking Tinubu every second while they protect their own politicians. Their evil plan is that the more you read about negative news about someone, the more you tend to believe the narrative. Unfortunately some Yoruba's fell for their antics and supported the attacks on Tinubu's properties. I'm not his fan but the man is not holding any political post for over 12 years. Why don't they burn down properties belonging to their present and past political leaders? Is Tinubu the one collecting their allocation from FG every month?
