Love your determination, things will workout fine. Was once in a similar situaton. But through it all, i told myself once i get a job things will change. This was a man i cooked and cleaned for every weekend ooo yet he neglected me to the extent that he was ashamed of my appearance. By the grace of God i got a job and wrote him off. Success is the best revenge, don't ever give up

Good evening my dear nairalanders. Please I need your honest opinion on this issue because I am very confused now that I don't know what to do.

I have been dating a guy for about three years now. Every thing has been going well. He claims he loves me but he doesn't spend on me. He knows I am still job hunting that I don't have any means of income of my own but he doesn't care at all. How I feed, cloth, recharge my phone, he doesn't know. He doesn't even ask how I cope with all my basic needs as a woman. He doesn't recharge my phone and when I manage to recharge with the little money I have and call him, he won't even reject or ignore the call and call me back knowing well that I don't work. He will make sure he exhausts the little airtime.

It is not as I he doesn't have the money, he has it. In fact he is very comfortable but he doesn't spend on me. I am a type of lady that doesn't know how to ask for money but I expect him to know that since I am not working yet, he should assist me with some of my needs but if I don't ask, he will do nothing.

I am thinking of leaving him because of this attitude I feel he is taking advantage of my nature. Please help me out. I want to know your take on this issue before I take action.

The first point though

Remember few months ago I was to be amongst the committee of friends for the bride during her traditional wedding.
I kept my face for the make up artist to do her job and lawd!! I didn't recognize myself when she was done.
I spent time looking at myself in the mirror to see the good side of her work but what I kept seeing was an unknown stranger.

I didn't even consult anybody, just walked up to the bathroom and washed everything off. I carried my face like that for the event.

I can't come and kill myself Biko.
Makeup is something I admire on others but if it comes to me, it becomes a no go area.

Aunty are you sure? Especially when you said you washed off the makeup and went for the wedding like that. Ok oo, kwatinue.

With my light make up, I am good to go. There's no time wearing heavy makeup, I don't even know how to do it. If you don't like me as simple as I am with my light makeup, please shift let others have space. Lol... After all, who masquerade-like heavy makeup epp?

Good evening my wonderful people of nairaland. I have been a member of nairaland for sometime now and I have seen how people got jobs via this medium. I am hopeful that I will also testify just like others, some day.
I am a young graduate of Industrial Chemistry, currently in Abuja. I have been job hunting for a long time now, all to no avail. I have the intention to acquire new skills, added to my certificate but I don't even have the money to register for any. I'm tired of being idle, it's really frustrating! I just want to get busy and work for my money without depending on anyone. Please if there is any opening at your place of work, kindly help a sister in need. As you do so, my God will reward you beyond your expectations in Jesus name, amen!
