Have u decided against buying Abdul4hire's 03 maxima? Apart from the cracked windshield, the other issues can easily be handled. Mine also had the CD issue, it kept skipping and showing CD err but I fixed it myself. I've also fixed issues with power windows on several of my previous cars by myself. I don't trust auto electricians in Nigeria. If the engine, transmission, interior and exterior are ok, I suggest u offer him like N650k for it. Before u spend N200k on that car, u'll be amazed at what u end up with. If u need more encouragement, buzz me 08060461644

For some inexplicable reasons, Nigerians aren't too sold on automobile customization. I remember sometime in the late nineties a company known as TwinCustom tried modding cars in Naija, but it didn't catch on.
My suggestion on the Naija used 03 max posted above is to simply arrange an inspection. There's no way u can be satisfied with photos posted here. If there are any issues with it, use that to knock the price further down. The car looks good though.

Its a 2001 SE model with fabric seats and all the standard features of maxima models, but of course not in the league of the 2003 model in terms of engine, transmission and performance.
I'm a maxima enthusiast and have used the previous models from gen-2 up to this gen-5.
I paid N900k for it.

@Wendyslims: Thanks. The chap I bought the car from isn't a dealer, his brother sent him two cars, this maxima and a hybrid camry. I suggest you contact Fhemmy on this site, he offered me a 2000 maxima GLE trim from cotonou with genuine customs papers for N900k. Alternatively, take time out to go to Ikeja, Agidingbi and Surulere, you might find what you want and wont need to go through middlemen like verakooler.

@Verakooler: As promised, here is a photo of the Maxima I got on Tuesday. I eventually paid N900k for it. The owner refused to go lower because of the high cost of dollar to naira. Its a 2001 model with fabric seats and 106k/miles on the odometer. Anyway, I'm happy with what I got. Wish u a quick and fair sale.

My dear friend, my favourite saying is "There's nothing as embarrassing as watching someone else do something u said was impossible" My last four vehicles have all been imported from the US. The most recent being a 2006 Nissan frontier that cost me N2.6m landed in Lagos. Yes its possible. Check the link I supplied above and u will see that the $2,700 being asked for is from a private seller and not an auction so no auction fees apply. Add $50 for gas and temporary tag to enable u drive the car to the port. Even if u pay $1,300 for shipping (despite the fact that u and I know that u can ship a car for $1000) that still brings u to $4000 (N628,000) clearing wil cost about N120,000. Total cost is just under N750,000. Do u still think its impossible to get a 2000 Maxima for N800,000?

Oga I know its not Nigerian used, otherwise I would be offering u N500k There are several GLE versions (some are even 2001 models) being sold here on Nairaland and around Lagos for N900k so I dont see why offering u N800k for the SE version is classified as "impossible" These cars are being sold at less than $3000 in the US.
