Please what does Tinubu's hometown in Osun look like...I want to check something |
They are busy drawing ridiculous permutations about Obi spoiling market for Atiku in the South by splitting his votes in PDP strongholds across the South...forgetting that Atiku actually stands a better chance against Tinubu in the North than Tinubu does in the South, Atiku is a pure breed son of the North and will always get massive votes there, but the bigger threat for Tinubu/APC will come from Kwankwaso's camp! Lots of APC votes in their traditional Northwest stronghold will be split between NNPP, APC and PDP but they fail to see this major problem right in their own political backyard. |
AnambraPrince:That's where you're getting it all wrong, power is best acquired through stealth, silence, and strategy...no be by gra gra and noise, the loudest ones in the room are mostly the weakest. Once again ask any person from the South South about Okowa and they will tell you, this is the same person who challenged godfatherism under Ibori in Delta state until Ibori had to raise his hand and declare him governor. |
AnambraPrince:Yaribaa man once again you've shown yourself to be another daft Tinubu goon trying too hard to sound smart. Wike is a money bag whose test of popularity (albeit overhyped) in the South South revolves ONLY around Rivers state money and nothing more, that's why he got little to no solidarity from South South governors and other major stakeholders in the region when he lost out to Atiku on the party ticket (that should tell you something). We are talking about a man who fought and insulted next to everybody of high repute in the South South including political heavyweights within the region who would have had his back, right now Wike is boxed into a corner like a squeamish little fighter with no punch left in him, he has no solid political foundation in the South South, he has no friends or allies among his South South colleagues, the man is just living on borrowed time until his tenure ends. So even if he strikes some imaginary deal with Tinubu, the Wike of today isn't even powerful enough to deliver a 25% vote in his own Rivers state, not to talk of the whole South South...the quiet but deadly strong man of the South South is actually Ifeanyi Okowa, if you doubt me, go and ask anybody who is familiar with South South politics. |
Wike isn't even popular beyond his small LGA in Obi Akpor, Rivers state not to talk of the whole South South? Goes to show how utterly clueless these Tinubu minions are Wike is a massively overrated self-imposed "strong man", and anyone familiar with Rivers state politics can attest to this fact. |
And Kwankwaso will split Tinubu's votes in the North!!! |
Wike is a loose canon, you don't want such a person as a VP with you while running campaigns, he's a tough cookie but you need a calm head to navigate the muddy waters of politics and Okowa can bring that for Atiku. |
ChimaAdeoye:Hmmm fair point! I'm from Benue State and I'm voting Peter Obi!!! |
[[s]quote author=LILTJAY post=113858494]but your girls dey complain now say fulani don too fvck their toto, say he don too slack. And you dey talk another thing here E dey the article, read Osu[/quote][/s]Gibberish I'm not even Igbo, do you have an obsession with women being raped? Were you sexually violated as a boy? Seek help son! |
Ifeanyi Okowa is the closest gamble to been an Igbo man from the SS who is very cordial with the SE (unlike Wike), now that he was picked as a running mate to Atiku, will he get votes from the SE? |
helinues:Both, he has never denied his Igboness and has always maintained a good relationship with the SE. |
You've shown once again why you're smart by half, with Obi on the ballot and with the massive tide of support and momentum he's getting nationwide (not online anymore), it would be political harakiri of epic proportions for Atiku to settle for a SE VP when it's clear 90% of Igbos of the SE are already on the PO train...so choosing a SS VP of igbo ethnic stock was a way to not only appeal to the possibility of some SE votes since Okowa is very pro-South East unlike Wike...but Okowa also seems an ideal leveler to garner enough South South votes for Atiku, Wike is too unrefined and loud to appeal to the South South electorate except in his Rivers state. |
I'm from the North and I know these people very well especially the core Muslim North when it comes to politics (or politricks in this case), these people are masters of the game. They knew that it was the turn of the South to demand for presidency especially on the APC ticket, so they cunningly backed Tinubu so as not to appear like they betrayed him after he gave all his support to Buhari, deep down they knew Tinubu was desperate for power and any attempt to deny him the ticket would have caused implosion and problems for the APC party structure since Asiwaju controls the bullion van that funds the party. The plan was simple for the North, rally behind, render some fake support and sympathy for Southern presidency and give the party ticket to the only man who was desperate for power and would go at any length to get it...since their brother (Atiku) was on the presidential ticket for PDP, majority of the Northern politicians in APC would then massively defect to PDP in subsequent days and months before the election to subtly back their Fulani brother while few will remain with Tinubu to make it seem like they were not all against his presidential bid...then when the election proper starts, they will all rally their votes and make sure Atiku emerges as president and then form faux solidarity with Asiwaju for his loss, once again power remains in the North and the South (particularly the South west) will cry injustice and protest the elections...after some days and weeks of noisr and violent clashes with security, they will get tired and submit to the new reality |

naptu2:Yorubas and fulani are the two major terrorist ethnic groups we have in Nigeria. |
solmusdesigns:True, but Evans did not go about joining Fulani bandits to abduct pregnant women and children, are yoruba and fulani truly one as Tinubu once said? partners in everything including terrorism. |
This is really sad
|
This happened at the Abuja INEC office, Obi supporters chanting his name till a PDP supporter carrying the PDP flag left in disgrace ![]() https://twitter.com/ceebyk/status/1536685561448214534 We're taking our country back, Middle Belt Christians stand with Peter Obi!!! |
seunmsg:LOL this is funny, El rufai of all people calling Obi a tribalist is as comical as a member of Boko haram calling a member from ISWAP a terrorist...El rufai should be the least person to call another person a tribalist. |
ProudImolite:Yes, thanks for the correction |
This is why we're kicking out APC from Benue state in 2023, the Christians of the Middle Belt will vote out this murderous government and prevent them from coming into power again. |
No fewer than 11 people were killed on Sunday in a renewed attack by suspected herders at Igama community in the Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State.https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/women-children-flee-as-herdsmen-kill-11-benue-youths/%3famp

On one hand you accuse Peter Obi of masterminding the killings of MASSOB members and dunping their bodies in the Ezu river when he was governor, on the other hand you call Peter Obi a tribalistic Igbo supremacist who only promotes the Biafra agenda...so if Obi is the same governor that ordered the killing of Biafran agitators, wouldn't that mean he hates the idea of criminals using the Biafran agitation to cause unrest in his state? If that's the case, that summarily defeats the whole argument that Obi is a tribalist since he will treat terrorism in the East just the same way as the North and other parts of the country if he's president. Indeed common sense is not common with some people! |
Assetinvestor:The merger will define the new political dynamics in Nigeria's voting history, watch out for the Obi/Kwankwansiyya storm ![]() |
Lol Ekpa is definitely a paid agent secretly working for some bigwigs to disenfranchise the East from voting. Peter Obi who is now gathering more momentum is the now target of character assassination. Ekpa is fast losing relevance and is wailing like a drowning man trying so hard to clutch at straws, his boys have been getting it hot from the security forces across the East and the last bunch of them are camped in small clusters of forest landmarks between the Anambra and Imo boundaries, now Soludo is wiping them out one after the other (which would explain why there hasn't been any major news of unknown gunmen attacks and sit at home enforcements lately). The mobilization of the youths and elderly in the East to get their PVCs has been massive on a unprecedented scale never experienced before in years, every major business center, market place, union town halls, churches etc are now making it mandatory for people to get their voters card and register... |
All parties from both sides have agreed to the merger with details billed to be announced on Wednesday, the third force wheel is about to be unleashed!!!! Little Hint: The protégé representing Obi is from the same hometown as Kwankwaso, Kwankwaso himself is enthusiastic about the project and has promised 100% commitment. He's confident and assured that he will deliver just enough votes in Kano and parts of the North west for the new party, while Obi is confident of his chances in the South. Best part is that the National party secretary of the New party is from Benue state, a former member of the House of Rep from my senatorial district in Benue. 2023 will be INTERESTING ![]() |
