Its a private school. Its a an opportunity for some people to go to school and for some to make money. Guys, wake up and see opportunity in Nigeria! The unemployed can use ventures like this to make it in life. before you say A to Z it will become a big school with the students telling the success story and the owners smiling to the bank. You cant try this in advanced countries. Thats why if you want to be really wealthy stay in developing environments because the laws are relaxed for your sake. It costs less than 100,000 NGN to put up small businesses in developing countries. The population is an advantage. Do you know how much you will need to put upa p[rivate school in advanced countries? Wakee guys... Lets make Naija great. I am passionate about my country! grin

The Golden eaglets that won the just concluded U17 world cup did they start preparation during GEJ or PMB? Definitely during GEJ. Now they have won and someone takes the glory and no one is pushing it to GEJ! How sad.
My point is lets us stop fixing the blame and start fixing the problem. There is problem at hand let us solve it. This 1 caused this that 1 caused that... hinders critical developmental thinking. Lets wake up now!

chinchum:
Are they suffering declining profits because Buhari became president 5 months ago?

OP, why art thou choosen to be so foolish and ridiculous ?

Declining oil prices and free fall of nigeria in exchange in 2014 affected all those compan1es. Your hero GEJ left a usd for 232 naira at the end of may 2015 in the parallel market.
Virtually all the results you postd were not even under the Buhari regime.

I suppose its the local poor that always win the day. Coach Amuneke himself was a poor guy, ready to die to make it, considering the semi final or was it the final 2-0 we won against Zambia in AFCON - Tunisia 94. All over history its the less provileged who risk it all and then they make it big. Making it big involves risking it all. I pray we maintain the winning momentum and not allow it enter our heads in Jesus name. Amen.
Family › Re: If Your Spouse Gains Scholarship To Study Abroad A Month After Wedding..... by AmeLonRo(m): 9:31pm On Nov 08, 2015
Most scholarships will make it easier for the other partner to travel. If its going to be long just plan how to work it out, if short, still plan and trust Trust and security are the bench marks here. Its for good and should be seen as such. Some people assume marriage is JUST for SEX. Sex is one of it but not the only thing. When God said be fruitful and multiply He meant more than just numerous children. It includes staring a business that will benefit mankind, staring an orphanage, discovering solutions to mankind's problems. George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Ghanddi are not remembered for their SEX OR CHILDREN but for the cause they fought for and believed in.

Christianity Etc › Re: Deeper Life Lost Most Of Her Pastor From Steven Akinola To Olu Itiola. Tell What by AmeLonRo(m): 1:20am On Oct 27, 2015
I love this thread. I stumbled on it via search for some pastors who left. I see that some pastors left to go and start their own ministries because they do not want to be disciplined or assume they have arrived. When we are looking for job, we determine that even if they ask us to sleep in the office working for a week we will do it. The moment we get the job we start seeing where director have gone wrong in asking us to stay and work extra hour or so. I see and observe that the people who left Deeper Life do not command as much respect that they commanded when they were still with Deeper Life. As a pastor in Deeper Life in a state or Lagos do you know how many people you will reach out to if given the opportunity to minister at a singular retreat programme, etc. For Deeper Lifers still inside, we have more opportunities to serve God if we remain inside. For those who have left, shame of what people will say prevents them from returning. So many God's generals in Deeper Life sir.

Business › Re: 15 Businesses You Can Start On Campus That You Don't Know About by AmeLonRo(m): 6:51am On Oct 17, 2015
I am surprised that this is a recent post. I want to counter some of them as follows:
1) Manual: Whose manual do you want to sell to make money? Your own? Why will a fellow student buy your manual to the extent that you’ll be rich? If it’s the lecturers, okay, but the class reps handle that. Also some schools especially federal universities do not permit the sale of handouts.
2) Note writing: How many people’s note will you write for you to be able to support yourself? Are you going to charge per page and how much? Think well.
3) Soup cooking: How do you want to advertise this in the hostels? With the aiye gbege stuff around, you cook soup for someone and something happens who will be called to question? Be careful!
4) Charging for pepper blending looks funny. With normal household blender? Haba! Except you are referring to grinding machine. As a student where will you put iit and sure you are not the one that will manage it.
5) How many plates do you want to wash for a fee? And for how much? Think ooo.
6) House painting on campus? Except it’s off campus hostel. The school authority will not even allow you to paint their hostels.
7) How many errands do you want to run to make it? How do you advertise the business. Think of something decent.
cool Assignments? Most people can browse even on their phone, so why pay someone for such assignments? Look elsewhere.
9) Space booking: So someone will pay to get space booked for him/her. What about their friends who arrive early. Watch it!
10) Photo backgroung: So you stay their with the background all day. This can be good during matriculations, convocations and then when you also are a photographer. But paying for just using a background? In Nigeria? Oga ooo.
11) Flash drive cleaning: Instead of paying to clean flash drive students will try and look for the old files on the system or send what is to be sent by CD or mail. They will then format the drive and its virus free again.
12) The others are fine sha. Add printing/photocopying, people are longer paying for typing like before.

Politics › Re: "Keep Quite" Saraki Tells APC Senators by AmeLonRo(m): 5:44pm On Oct 07, 2015
wirinet:
What is the value of the petition? Is the senate a court now that can finds ministerial nominees guilty? If the petition is about Amaechi not having the required qualification to be a minister or has been declared guilty by a competent court, then no problem, But the Senate cannot declare Amaechi guilty based on allegations by Wike and PDP. If all it takes for stopping a person from becoming minister is simply a petition, then nobody would ever become minister.

If Amaechi can be stopped from being minister simply based on a petition, how come Saraki that is facing criminal charges and Buruji that is a fugitive still remain senators.
The aim of petition ks to draw attention. It is now left to the senate what it will do with the information provided in the petition. the petitioners have informed the senate at least. the senate can direct questions from the petition at the petitionee during screening. If well answered he moves on as minister... In some places if he knows he is not clean he will step aside and clean up first. But here I think clean or no clean they keep roughing it up. One day sha....

@Toks, thanks for your comment, you are well appreciated. The. Truth is he haas been a friend for close to 10 years, I met him when I was inthe higher institution and he has been trading as n undergraduate. It was early last year I contacted him for forex training and he said he could trade for me, so that when I'm my training, I'll have enough cash to trade with. Since then he keeps lying he would pay, till 2 weeks ago he said he has withdrawn the money and would credit my account. I don't know what to do anymore, reason I came up here for help, he uses instaforex to trade maybe I should report him to his broker so that they can block his trades. Please your input would be appreciated. Thanks you
It is written all over that you shuld not pay people to trade for you. With this you wont repeat it. Thats forex and thats life. I learnt the hard way too though not with that huge sum. After doing my fx training I kept on d demo until someone encouraged me to start even if it is 100USD. I did and it has been a learning curve. Am not saying am always winning but it has been a learning curve. No biz in this world is easy. FX is not easy if one has not really mastered it. Start today and keep learning.
