Air travel in Nigeria na wa o. First page ko? |
The people you move with will determine where you will be in 5 years time. Some of those dudes were simply influenced by peer pressure. Wanting to belong. Be different. Be significant. |
nefertitiram:This is surprising. So you don't know Ilorintedo in New York? |
henryhemon:I know of Arik Air, which others? Pls. I saw Overland but all their flights are pre 5pm. Does anyone know of schedules after 5pm? |

We now appreciate GEJ and imagine how he was able to cope when he was there. Same APC was promising heaven and earth. Oya now.. |
toitoi:I AM LOOKING FOR A GOOD PRICE FOR 1 ADULT THIS April. Suggestions are welcome |
brownemmanuel43:GEJ is a world hero! You listed 4 that lost and handed over. For every 1 that handed over there is a hundred that did not in the same capacity. I respect that Benin president. That is a clear example of the way forward. On another note I am apalled that fuel queues still persist in Nigeria. I thought PMB and APC had all the magic wands to fix all. Enu dun rofo any day. Lets wait and see if PMB will handover or even conduct a free and fair election in 2019!!!!!!!!!!!! |
I am moved to tears for the patriotism displayed by the incumbent. AFRICA will and shall be greater for it. |
JOOHEL:Most foreign students don't write JAMB to enter the University of Ilorin. I know of students from Pakistan, Ghana, other African countries in the University. thanks to Oloyede's tenure as VC. But seriously, Nigerian students are smarter than the whites. Its a general corruption problem. Not just University issue. |
The dignity of labour is the greatest of all dignities. In America, people say they are going to work and sometimes I ask myself so this is the work people are proud of? Selling at Walmart or any of the Malls, Stores, cleaning the environment with machines, etc. If you know what you are doing and can hussle in Naija, you will make it big time. I am very proud of that woman o! |
The alarm you raised is untrue. I worked for a leading insurance company in Nigeria for 30 months. So I know that insurance is real, too real. My friends in the claims dept are alwys busy settling claims. The MD of the coy even said that claims payment is the best advertisement for insurance! Your marketers stopped working with Mutual Benefits and you did not deem it fit to reach out to their head office or branch office. You did not google the address of their head office and send an email to their boss. You come to nairaland and say you have been duped!? Haba!!!!!!!!!!!! Insurance companies hire many marketers in Nigeria because the penetration of insurance in nigeria is below 2%. in Nigeria insurance is not bought but it is sold. meaning no one ordinarily wakes up and walks to the insurance company to ask to buy an insurance. The insurers run after clients to sell, to collect premium. Even 3rd party motor insurance which is compulsory, how many people have it? the original? Many do not understand nor seek to understand what they are doing. Someone close to me bought life insurance which can only and ONLY be terminated after death or the person risks charges on the premium collected without pay. The person now needs money due to job loss and the insurance company explains the facts on the policy document but the person feels cheated even though have to collect the change like that. many insurance coys now have life insurance that runs together as an investment. So you can cash all or part of your premium after 2, 3, 5 or so years. Lets be properly informed ooo. |
Good PLAN. But I look forward to that day and time soon when the government will not tell us their plans and we will just see the good projects they have completed. In advanced countries, roads, projects, etc are not commissioned until the citizens have tested the roads, developments for about a year or six months. Nigeria go better soon. This applies to companies too. Lets stop the PLAN to, WILL soon, INTEND to, PRAYING to... Lets act fast and develop our capacities for real progress. The time is now. |
The FG should o good without giving us prior notice. Let naira be well without telling us. Let fuel flow without telling us. Let water be in our homes without telling us ahead of time. Let power be stable without us knowing the details. Stop: PLAN TO, WILL, NEXT WEEK, NEXT YEAR, WHEN WE GET TO, ETC. PLEASE AND PLEASE ![]() |
This is very normal at her stage of pregnancy. Its not due to bleaching. I see most of this nairalanders are either single smal boys or girls. No wonder! ![]() Chai! Kai Aboki, sai baba abi? [img][/img] |
StMcOrdil:She omitted adding that he also sleeps with her and others at will. Abi since always appearing naked, what next? Power corrupts. No matter the type of power! (God's, Devil's, Political, Academic, Social, Money, etc) Beware when you have power. |
Pidggin:Nobody go call that 1 bastard ![]() Hip for the hip for the hippocrites ![]() Same rule should apply and not diff rule. Fayose na individual and has some rights which is good for our democracy. So no one should check the FG? |
President Buhari should have been diplomatic about this by concealing his views. Its a very sensitive issue. I never knew how intense until I met a Palestinian lady and an Isreali lady last week. I spoke with them separately and they have their reasons for hate and why they should have their way. The 2 are unwilling to see eye to eye even though we were on an educational tour. Please lets thread softly on International and even local border affairs. This is not Apartheid South Africa o. Just my 2 cents! |
Technical handshake, technical look, technical agreement. The common man knows nothing about this agreement sha! |
“If you hit me you will be in trouble. If I hit you, you will be in trouble.” I like this 1. |
HaneefahRN:What of Gambia? |
obailala:Exactly, why build new roads, when the old ones are bad and begging for revival or is it renewal ![]() Jonathan did many wonderful things joor despite the politricks that surrounded him to make sure he did not succeed. I am just wondering that the present govt is still playing THE BLAME GAME after 9 months. ![]() |
The PG portal is opened again and I guess for the last time this session. So, kindly register/make payment now before the portal is closed finally. About 2 days left. |
I got similar messages in my email but it was from EFCC. They said there were some funny, etc transactions on my account. I knew my account had minimum balance most months so I asked the sender how come EFCC send email and not letter or physical presence to arrest as we see/hear all over the news. Let us be careful! |
I feel an investor will gain as s/he will transfer funds in USD or GBP to account in Nigeria. Withdrawal and payment for services can be done in USD or GBP too. So investors will be few bucks and convert it to giant naira. 14: |

Thirty persons were killed when two female suicide bombers attacked an Internally Displaced Persons camp in Borno State on Tuesday, the Chairman of Borno State Emergency Management Agency, Ahmed Satomi, has said. Satomi said 78 persons were injured in the attack, which occurred at the camp in Dikwa at about 6.30am on Tuesday. But AP quoting some unnamed officials said that at least 56 people were killed in the attack. Dikwa is about 90 kilometres from Maiduguri, the Borno state capital and was recently reclaimed from Boko Haram fighters by Nigerian soldiers. Over 70,000 displaced persons are being housed in IDP camps in the town. He said the two female bombers stormed the IDPs camp in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State at about 6.30 am on Tuesday, blew up themselves in the midst of the crowd of displaced persons, killing over 30 persons and injuring 78 others in the process. Satomi, who spoke to one of our correspondents on the telephone, said, “As I am speaking to you now, I am at the Specialist Hospital, Maiduguri where those injured in the suicide bomb attack carried out by two female bombers were brought for treatment. “It was really sad the injured were brought in today (Wednesday) because of the distance between Dikwa and Maiduguri.” He said those killed were buried on Tuesday. Satomi added that the military had beefed up security around the town. Meanwhile, troops of the Nigerian Army have killed an unspecified number of insurgents in an early morning ambush at a major cattle market in Gwai Mainari area of Borno State. The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, said that the troops of the 212 Tank Battalion, 29 Task Force Brigade were on a mission to flush out Boko Haram remnants from the North-East when they saw the insurgents. Usman said that the troops, who were supported by the operatives of the quick response group in the offensive, killed some of the insurgents. But he was silent on the number of the terrorists killed. He added that some of the terrorists escaped with gunshot wounds. According to him, the troops also captured one Hilux vehicle containing some gallons of fuel, arms and ammunition from the insurgents. The statement partly read, “In continuation of their clearance operations of remnants of Boko Haram terrorists in the North-East, troops of 212 Tank Battalion, 29 Task Force Brigade, early this morning ambushed some Boko Haram elements at a major cattle market in Gwai Mainari around Mainok general area. “The ambush party supported by a quick response group captured a Hilux vehicle containing eight jerry cans of petroleum, oil and lubricants, large quantity of 7.62mm ammunition, 127mm ammunition and four AK-47 rifles, as well as five hand grenades. “Some of the terrorists were killed while others escaped with gunshot wounds. It is important to note that more operational strategies are being employed to further flush out the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists wherever they might be hiding in the North-East.” SOURCE: PUNCH NEWSPAPER. |
