Can we see peeps like Severe-anus-shape on this thread?! Pls we wanna know the definition of illiteracy; since they're fond of calling him a dullard. Buhari has yet proven them wrong.

Meanwhile, Buhari seems to be the tallest among his classmates then. I see myself becoming the President of this nation one day since I was the tallest tongue among my classmates during my Secondary School days!

Satellite TV TechnologyRe: You Can Get Vsat Equipment (dish, Buc, Lnb And Idirect Modem) @ Cheaper Rate by Americasman(m): 10:40pm On Nov 16, 2012
V-SAT is fraud. You will never get the bandwidth you pay for. If you want fast internet access, talk to the GSM operators and they will tailor a plan for your company. Forget all the broadband blah blah, radios, routers, internet via power lines all these equipment are expensive and will not make your internet any better. If you want super fast internet buy a gadget known as 3G bonding and load balancing. Its get all the 3g signal bandwidth from different networks (airtel, etisalat, glo and mtn) as one massive bandwidth.

CrimeRe: Female Banker Sends Robbers After Customer by Americasman(m): 7:03pm On Sep 18, 2012
celeboi: A female cashier working in a new generation bank along New Market Road, Onitsha, Anambra State has landed in trouble for sending robbers after a customer just after he withdrew N5 million from the bank. It was gathered that the customer was attacked by the armed bandits who operated on two motorcycles while waiting to board a vehicle to his destination.

After being dispossessed of the money, Daily Sun gathered that the victim became suspicious of the role played by the female cashier as no other person knew about the withdrawal and he hurried back to the bank in anger and threatened to expose the cashier if the stolen money was not returned immediately to him.

According to a reliable source, the bank manager, whose office was situated close to the banking hall, overheard their argument and invited them into his office. While interviewing both parties, the female cashier consistently denied involvement in the crime and vowed to deal with the victim if his allegation was eventually proved to be false. However, the cat was let out of the bag during hot exchange of words when the mobile phone of the cashier rang persistently and she refused to answer the call.

While she was fidgeting, the bank manager suspected foul play and ordered the cashier to answer her call, using the amplified speaker. When she finally picked the call after much reluctance, it was the voice of the excited robber from the other end telling the cashier that the operation was successful. He told the cashier to meet him at the designated location to collect her share after the close of work. The cashier became speechless after the call as tears of shame and guilt streamed down her face.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer of the state, Mr. Ralph Uzoigwe, said he had not received any complaint from the bank and promised to reach the reporter as soon as information got to him. It was learnt that the bank was handling the incident internally to avoid a dent to its image.

Femsyn: This is what you get when you pay ur employee a paltry sum of 50-70k while s/he handles millions everyday. I'm not justifying her actions, but its really counter productive when the pple who handle cash more are the least paid in banks (of course, excluding drivers, security men & cleaners)

hardbody: We can overrun Cameroun and put a military base there. In this era, countries do not just fly into another sovereign territory and start fighting their wars, it could at most be done surreptitiously. At any rate, with what we have, we can hold the fort and if France chooses to join fray, who says we cannot persuade other countries to support us militarily? At most we give them a bit of our oil. America will be very willing to support that cause provided there is oil in the offing, and if Nigeria wants to make anything out of that land, they should explore the window now open or forever leave it to Cameroun. It is however a huge shame that again we have displayed embarrassing act of cowardice.
More room for corruption and oil theft.
BusinessRe: Any Experience With Interswitch's Quickteller (www.quickteller.com.ng)? by Americasman(m): 12:32am On Sep 16, 2012
How dare you paid PHCN bills via electronic channels? Even the one you pay cash at their office seldom gets reflected! Not every nigerian company really understand the way e-payments works.

Babs_O: I hope I will be able to recover (or get credited) a PHCN bill I paid with quickteller. I paid 2 PHCN bills using quickteller. One was successful for about 3k but the one for N36k was debited and till today after two months has not reflected in new PHCN bills.

Also I paid Aero ticket on quickteller and was nearly stranded at the air-port.

It appears some payments go smoothly and some hang. And funny it is the higher value payments N30k plus that hangs.

Has anyone got experience on how to recover (or get credited) PHCN or other bills that get debited from bank accounts but not get reflected as paid ?

I was actually contacted by a Joe W Vasquez via OKCupid. Email address: joevasq010@yahoo.com He said he was a Structural Engineer in the oil industry. Lived in Tabor City, North Carolina. Wife died in car accident. Father died when he was young. Grew up in London where mother & uncle still live. Two children, daughter Freda & son, Ben. This is not a real person. This is a "romantic scam". When I finally used an email tracer program I found the emails to have originated from Nigeria. Was a very good, well-weaved story that I feel for. Don't make the same mistake![/quote]Can't you see the account name and the cantact person are not the same? I bet so many will still fall cheap for this. Most people still don't read between the lines.

PoliticsRe: Electricity Will Drop By 300MW After Rainy Season – NERC by Americasman(m): 5:58pm On Aug 27, 2012
rhymz: can you please explain how an estimated 300megawatts drop will take us back to the former era when we could hardly sustain a mere 2500megawatts?
Besides, 300megawatts is just an estimated drop not actual drop. There is no how hydro-power plants with combined capacity of 300megawatts will lose all its generation just because there is a drop in water levels at the dams. The water only provides propelling force on the fins of the turbine which in turn rotates ammature or magnetic core connected to the wheel driven by the turbine. All the plant needs is propelling force, if there is a water level drop then the propelling force of course will reduce which of course will reduce the revolution of the magnetic core carrying wheel; if the total output of the power plant is say 300megawatts, its production will reduce as a result but it does not stop anyway. So why is everyone assuming the whole 300megawatts will be lost just on the basis of water level reduction?
Besides, most of the plants that have contributed the to the national grid production are gas powered.

jp philips: i doubt if this bull came from Femi falana himself or someone is posing as femi circulating this clap trap.

16.272 trillion is generated from oil alone. 40% goes to royalties (oyibo that help you extract the oil, don't think that Shell and co came here to watch television)

Nigeria is left with 60% of the lot.

to guarantee that 60%, another 10% goes to security (Nigerian army,Nigerian Navy and militants)
leaving the nation with 50%, another 13% goes to states that produce the oil leaving the federal with 37%.

this 37% is split among federal, state and local governments at 52%, 26% and 20% respectively,

PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO FALANA TO GET A GRIP ON HIS POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC MALNUTRITION
you have not added the money the govt gets from importation, the 5%vat and the taxes. How are these calculated, 60%:40%?
