Religion / Re: Why Does GOD Allow tragic death? by amethystnnty1: 5:57pm On Mar 13, 2019
theoriginalgood:
Why would God let something die? The wages of sin is death. Are humans fundamentally good? Do you think anus, feces, sweat, body odors, urine etc are essentially characteristics of a truly good being?

Do you think God has to use a mirror to know his own reflection? Humans are proven imperfect. Only perfect is good. Humans are evidently evil.

God is only good and that’s why he’s the most superior in existence. Good is stronger than evil. Evil still exists today, but God is on his way to deleting it. It just takes time.

Killing off evil is like cooking a meal; it’s only ready after sometime with the fire and not immediately the fire is applied.

God’s will is unstoppable. Simple as ABC. From G (G for God) to the N (N for end). GHIJKLMN: Get Honestly Infuriated Just Kill Love Make New.

OP has a point about the “nothing” or “invisible” part of humans. God will kill off the evil flesh and put the soul in a new good body.

God is omnipotent, he can do absolutely anything good, but preserving evil is impossible.

The good Ole epicurean trilemma

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? "

It always baffle me the way people look and try to immediately pass judgment on people that choose to off themselves.

As hard as anyone can try nobody else can live in somebody else's reality, you can't possibly understand or experience the depth of pain of a person who is so sure that ending it is better than continuing.

The truth is the only reason the rest of us continue to convince ourselves to get to the next day and the next and the next after is HOPE of a better day but the fact is for most people it's gonna get a lot more worse, some are gonna get way more worse before it gets better, some I guess are gonna have it good but just because most people believe enduring pain and struggle a long time just so they can enjoy a brief pleasure which could as easily fade doesn't mean they are better or have more courage than the one who decides to end it.

FOR ALL OF US READY TO GET TO TOMORROW BECAUSE OF A HOPE OF SOME BETTER DAYS WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT COME (even if it does come) I ASK YOU THIS QUESTION;

TO WHAT END?

Nigerians are indeed lazy...how do we really want this nation to grow if the only serious thing is politics..when I see campaign like this ..first thing I ask myself is ..are all these people on leave or off work or simply jobless yet still cheering for the same people who kept them in thier situation..then I remember a quote by Ugene Aiko .the great Okene poet who said that

"The average IQ in Nigeria is 15 whereas in other developing countries we have 85..tell me if that's not retar ded"

..Sariki and co know this and laugh behind your back when men who are supposed to be taking care of their families cheer them for nothing ..Wake up as we support a forward moving Nigeria...

I tell you. Low IQ population is the major problem of Nigeria. But haba! 15? That i presume would be lower than chimps.

Funny thing is that no branch of the United Military will take a person with an IQ lower than 85. You know what the reason for that is; for a person below that IQ there isn't any job he can be trained to do that isn't counter productive and that's about 15 to 20% of the population.

Here in Nigerian average IQ could be less than 70

U just laid the sad truth out, too bitter for some folks to take in but the truth remains the truth. There's no big deal birthing a child, it's given freely by nature, even a mad man can impregnate a woman, what differs is taking up the responsibility of grooming that child to adulthood. African parents always feel they deserve so much respect in birthing children, Tf?! Groom your children well enough and earn your respect, treat them bad and Go To Hell

Every 10 seconds a person die of hunger related-related causes (mostly children). 815 million people go to bed without food from minor to chronic starvation that's at least 1 of every 9 person on the planet and food is the most basic of human need. It is the height of inhumanity to condemn any being to that. Why not just let a non existent soul be just that NON EXISTENT

I believe the only people responsible for your woes in life are your parents. Fathers and mothers, whichever or both who made a conscious decisions to birth you into this life. If everybody understand this they wouldn't blame anyone else for their problems.

For the life of me i still don't understand why anybody should bring another into this life of eternal struggle and if ever anyone want to they should be responsible for the soul they yanked into existence. If it were up to me I would recommend a death penalty for parents who bring children into existence and wouldn't contribute a dime to their upbringing or better still indentured servitude until the offspring have an agency to choose to continue the life or end it

I have never seen a love so real like God's love to humans. It is the realest of all love. I wouldn't recommend you love your neighbors, your children, the wife or husband any more or less

God's love is summarily like this;

DO WHAT I TELL YOU TO DO OR BURN IN HELL FOR ALL OF ETERNITY.

the funny thing about telling you what to do is he never tells you

Perverted sex brings disease and humans are dishonest above all things about sex. grin They will be sleeping with dogs and people in the same day. Men will sleep with other men and have wives who aren't aware of their perversions and giving their wives AIDS, happens alot. Women will sleep with other women and tell you that she wants a husband. grin Sex is deadly my friend, God knows best when He made laws regulating it.

So you advocate that we organize society according to the law of God. Which of the 8,000 to 12,000 Gods in recorded history (that's excluding all the 320million plus Gods if you count Hinduism's) should we model the society after? Maybe your God ? Your neighbors God or how about the Gods of different millions who have the same God but who speak to in different ways and want their society to be run in the way he tells them to? Oh how about thousands of Gods that has been before your God and maybe infinite number of God that may be after your God has been long gone do they get a say in how the society is gonna be run?, what about people who just wanna be left alone and doesn't want no part in you and all of your Gods?

Perverted Sex? What does that even mean?

Sex is deadly? About 21 children die every minute of diseases that are curable. 10people die of hunger every seconds most of which children. Now these are deadly. But No God knows best about some degenerates drilling each others asses in a dark room somewhere

Sometimes I wonder why society should care about what anyone chose to do in their private lives and all the personal choices that they make as long as it's consensual (except minor and unsound minds with no agency) and doesn't initiate violence against other people.

Romance / Re: South African Man Shares His Heartbreaking Story On Twitter (photos) by amethystnnty1: 6:12am On Jul 23, 2018
Briffault's law comes into mind here. It goes thus;

the female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family. Where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place.”

Briffault continues with these three corollaries to his law:

1.

Even though a woman has accrued past benefits from her relationship with a man, this is no guarantee of her continuing the relationship with him. (Translation: What have you done for me lately?)

2.

If a woman promises a man to continue her relationship with him in the future in exchange for a benefit received from him today, her promise becomes null and void as soon as the benefit is rendered. (“I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.“)

3.

A man’s promise of a future benefit has limited ability to secure a continuing relationship with a woman, and his promise carries weight with her only to the extent that the woman’s wait for the benefit is short and to the extent that she trusts him to keep his promise.

Did they force those men to do those jobs? And if there are women doing them and those women apply for the job then yes give them if they are qualified to do same. Plus where have you heard anyone say they should assassinate only men in politics and leave the women alone? Abi dem dey ask for political assassination too in your opinion?

I believe in equality of opportunity for everyone, I couldn't care less if you're a male or female. I know I would never buy a less quality product from a male just because he is a guy if a woman offer a better product than he does neither would I as an employer hire a guy who is less qualified than a woman applying for the same job.

My problem is with people who look at let's say Nigeria political scene today and say because it is mostly men then it must only be because someone give it to them because they are men and forget about what qualify many of them for the job which is a lot of things e.g their sacrifices, ruthlessness, psycopathy, ability to make and build connections, loyalty, name recognition, Favour exchanges, bribery, deceitfulness and so on and if a woman is a better player then she stands a better chance than most of them.

What men have always done is compete and they would strike down another man without a thought and if women want to join them (as some women do even better) they have to bring their A game.

In 2018 i don't know many laws stopping women from being anything they wanna be in my country

I have a feeling you are a gentleman yourself, even though you may not support the idea of gender equality. You have put your points across without insults and that's quite impressive!
It's all good.

Equality is unnatural even between male and male, female and female. If there were no difference between sexes I.e if we human are homogeneous being things wouldn't still be equal.

Heterosexual marriage should be the simplest way to explain the natural state between male and female. I believe you are married so you should know more about it than I know. Are you and your husband equal in everything?

Guys should check out "men are better than women .com" to see the bull shitzz in feminism. All the bridges, cars, planes, trains, roads, buildings, power plants, phones, computers, ships, stadiums, pipelines, power lines, mines, factories, etc are build by men. If men were to vanish from earth today, the world will turn to stone age era overnight as women wouldn't know what to do. But if women were to vanish, men will simply invent artificial wombs and move on with life. I will start taking feminism serious when i see women wearing a hard hat and go into a coal mine, carrying guns and go to the war front, working in quaries and shipyards, working as lumber jacks and deck hands on ships, mining iron and working in steel plants, climbing and repairng 30,000 volt power lines, being window washers of 70 story towers, working as rig hands on an oil rig far off in the atlantic or north sea etc all these are man jobs that females simply can't do. Its just preferential treatment they want, not equality

I would say what they've always had is preferential treatment and they want more and more like a nagging wife. I only pity them when pushing too much get them what real equality is then they will know

True feminism can't thrive in Nigeria, Nigeria is a patriarchal society. I'm a Nigerian, I want gender equality but at best I will call myself a rights activist because I understand the concept of feminism. We are just not ready for it and the male chauvinists are using it to their advantage. I pray we get to the level of Iceland or even Rwanda some day.

Patriarchy, another word feminist like to throw around like it's something that has any real meaning or advantage to it. The belief in God the father is patriarchal too right? Maybe we should just get God a wife and have the creator share equal responsibility and power with her and everything will be perfect

We have men who are proud feminists, really.

Of course as long as;

You Don't give women what they don't earn

You don't expect women to get paid for less work they do compared to men

You don't force company to hire women 50-50
to men just because they are women

You don't expect women tennis players who plays 3 sets and have less than a fifth viewers to men tennis players who plays 5sets to get paid the same

You don't ask for 50-50 CEO of top companies as men and not 50-50 cobblers, road side mechanics, vulcanizers, scavengers, cement unloaders, soak away diggers, drillers, prisoners etc.

You don't ask for 50-50 political post and not 50-50 political assassination victims.

I could go on till rapture.
