But then, I don't know who to blame when hardworking employees are not rewarded.. Negligence on the part of the employer/mgt or the economy and work culture itself

Instead of them to use that time in doing something good and resourceful, they choose to waste it in putting up an old trick in order to scam people..

May God pay them back in their own coins..

Jobs/Vacancies / Nairalanders, Beware Of Fraudsters. They Are At It Again by Amicable24: 8:55am On Apr 27, 2017
Good morning to you Nairaland famz.

It's a bright Thursday morning here in Ikeja, Lagos state and like every other working days, men have to work hard each day to earn some dough.
I woke up just like every other working day, washed myself, got dressed, said my morning prayers and zoomed off to the streets. Little did I know that some people from somewhere are planning something different for me grin grin

On getting to the office, I noticed someone sent me a text message.. After reading it, I just smiled sheepishly at whoever that sent it (some scammers are still learners sha). They used the old method of ''Hey, good morning.. It's me Henry Patrick. ur ex-copa mate in Kano state...'' bla bla bla. He wanted to get me a job in SHELL company (someone I didn't even know) and I wondered if he has helped all his family members and close friends before thinking of me (ndi ara) angry angry angry

I didn't even read it twice to confirm if it was a scam or not. I have come across such messages before now though. One good thing is that the scammer knew I was originally posted to Kano state but unfortunately for him, I never went to Kano state because we (2014/2015 batch B corps members) who were originally posted to Kano state were redeployed due to the insurgency in Kano state at that time (Other corps members who served that period can confirm this).

To the unemployed graduate, don't fall for this cheap scam except you are sure of the person who sent it to you.

May God help us all, Amen.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: A Cry For Help.. Voice Of An Unemployed Youth by Amicable24: 8:59am On Apr 04, 2017
enshi:
After making a distinction in national diploma computer engineering from a federal polytechnic the future looked as bright as laser Light..
With much enthusiasm and believe i proceeded to apply for direct entry into one of the Universities of science and technology to also pursue a degree in engineering..
As a result of the delay in the University admission process that year i couldnt wait till i was enlisted for the degree program so i applied to further with my higher national diploma in my former school. The Hnd admission came without delay and luckyly for me the admission with the University also came along and believe me i took both as a challenge and went through them successfuly..

Due to the gap between the two admissions i was able to run them concurrently. At This point no youth in nigeria could be assured of a brighter future than i was..

Again i made a distinction in higher national diploma and a second class upper in my B. Eng... All in computer engineering.

Mobilization for NYSC came through first at the polytechnic so i served with my hnd and with a distinction i was posted to a federal university... What other assurance do i need for a brighter future ahead...

DAYS OF AGONY

with a month to the end of my service year i already had my CV, cover letter and i was prepared to go out and showcase my abilities.
April 14th 2016 i was so happy to drop the khaki and the jungle boot and with a happy heart i headed home..

Firstly i started with the online applications and after some months i started submitting hard copies from company to company..

After six months my family started showing signs of being human after all and i tell you this is the quickest invitation To depression.. In two weeks from now, it would have been a year sadness, dashed hope and ofcourse loneliness.

To cut story short i am beginning to think that education, sound result, qualifications, and the promise of a better future via academics is just a mere mirage..

This days i find it difficult to let people know i am a graduate... They get to find out them selves later and the sorry face they put up is a killer to my self confidence

Borrowing airtime from mtn, cutting my hair twice a month, trekking has become the Best means of transportation, laughter has become ostentatious, the worst is i no longer attend church services cos my regular appearance in same clothes is making Me an officer...

I need help but hey suicide has never been an option and would never be... I know it wont be like this forever but who knows where the help can come from.... I speak english Yoruba and igbo fleuntly... And i dont mind relocation as i am available for Immediate consideration

The economy is not so favourable to many people now especially the unemployed youths... My advice to you is to go for small or medium scale firms whose start-up pay ranges between 20k - 50k or there about.. don't think it's too small to start with, you don't know the opportunities that will be available for you when you take up any of those.. Half we all know is still better than nothing..
Sorry for the state of things now bro, Gold help us all

Explanation on how it's 042:

Hint 1: The 2 in 682 is correct and well placed (3rd digit just as in 042)

Hint 2: The 4 in 614 is correct but wrong placed (3rd digit instead of 2nd digit in 042)

Hint 3: Both 2 and 0 in 206 are wrong placed (1st digit instead of 3rd and 2nd digit instead of 1st respectively in 042)

Hint 4: No number in 738 is in 042

Hint 5: The 0 in 780 is correct but wrong placed (3rd digit instead of 1st digit in 042)
Thanks a lot for this breakdown.. I had no inkling about the whole puzzle until you took the time to break it down.. Thanks once again and God bless you

I'm indeed sorry if you found my previous post offensive to you. I don't know you though, but I wasn't saying trash either. Since you mentioned that you don't thank your parents after eating, I understand you better now. I didn't mean to be offensive

Mr Springer, i dont know where you are from o, maybe animal kingdom?
The man is in his house, he dropped money for food, the wife cooked the food, the wife served the food, the man ate, and the wife cleared the plates. Please where does the mother in law fits to deserve a thank you?

If there is a thank you to be given, its the wife who cooked and served.
Give respect to whom it's due.. If she was your mom, wouldn't u have thanked her? Fine she didn't foot the bills, but you just have to swallow your pride and say 'thank u ma'.. for respects sake (make e no be like say u no like her presence for your house ni)

In Health and safety what happened to you is called a Near-miss, it is not about God or anything, you were just lucky. If you do not work on clearing all the hazards in your house away, and reduce the potential incidents at your home, you might not be that lucky the next time. Get a professional electrician to check all your wirings and also double check to ensure there are no inflammable materials close to that switch-over box.

I hope you have a fire extinguisher somewhere in that house too. Plus having a smoke alarm can go a long way in preventing fire accidents.
He did the right thing by thanking God, why say otherwise All the precautionary methods you mentioned are good too and should be noted.. But you know, one can never be too careful in this life undecided
Lemme take you to Psalms 127:1
"Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it; except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain."
Our faith in God works wonders.

Quote me to say rubbish and die by accident this morning
He had every right to thank Almighty God just as you do have yours. Respect other people's faith and belief and watch what you say so that you won't be the one to die by accident.. Rubbish!!!
.
.
Meanwhile I quoted you to say "Rubbish" and also to remind you that I have and serve a Living God, JESUS is His Name.. Your threat of death is as useless as a phone with a dead battery.. You don't have the power of life and death, only God does. I have quoted you, and I will quote you again later today (that's if I get a mention from you)..
Amend your ways!!!

Romance / Re: Let's Stop Judging Runs Girls by Amicable24: 12:23am On Mar 05, 2017
Klinee:
[s] U no well! what concern armed robbers and prostitution? Having sex with a prostitute is far better than having sex with a girlfriend because it helps to reduce the cost of spending. Am not trying to justify the morality of prostitution rather I will like to point out the humanly benefits of prostitution
1) It serves as an aid to the financial problems of the girl
2) It help to ease tension urge of sex for men who have high libido for sex not impotent men.
3) It help some boys who are novice about sex to experiment it in reality.
4)It curb all sex abnormalities in our society like gayism(evil act), incest, Beastie, paedophile etc
5) It reduce costs of spending for men, atleast with #500 you can sleep with the most sexiest and beautiful girl you like.
6) It give an opportunity to select the type of girl he wants to have sex with e.g. Older ones, younger ones, fair one, black one, Europeans, Chinese, albinos etc which helps to reduce an obsessive mind set toward this group of women.
7) The most important !!!! It helps to reduce raping in our society, imagine a girl walking on her way a man materialize from somewhere and grab her rape her, impregnate her, beat her or even kill her so that she will not expose him, imagine that kind of society where men will be supporting raping because most them(men) are guilty of it.
cool It also help to reduce STD, I bet you can never have sex with a prostitute without protection not like the regular girlfriend who don't care about about condom.
9) It helps to reduce unwanted pregnancy
I may sound very immoral but that is the fact! imagine a society where there no prostitution the society will be in hell.
[/s]
Abeg, I well well well..
To what you wrote up there, I will like to make some corrections or rather contradictions..
1) There are other legit ways of making money beside prostitution
2) Such should have self control.. No wonder there are lots of paedophiles out there.. Mother's take note
3) There is nothing there to experiment.. If u are burning with passion, better get married or pray to God for self control.
4) It didn't curb any of those because those who engage in such act will still do so without the runz girls
5) And when you think about spending, you don't have a family or other sensible things to spend on right?
6) How old are you please Hope I'm not wasting my time on a minor cry cry
7) If it actually reduced such, I wonder why there's still an increase in rape cases in our society even with the massive presence of the so called runz girls shocked
cool But STDs are still on the increase and even worse by the day
9) Why have sexual intercourse when you are not ready for the responsibility that comes with it
The world would have been a better place if morals and virtue are embraced and exhibited by all.. It's up to us to make the world a better place and not worsen it undecided

STOP ADVOCATING IMMORALITY!!!

A question for you please: If your own sister were to be a runz girl, will u encourage her with the same words u posted above?? ?? ??

TrumporIdie:
In a world where the demand for sex is high, where men walk about with an erection, I believe runs girls and prostitutes are easing the tension in the heads of sex starved and high libido men, they are meeting a need.

A runs girl is a hustler, she is earning a living by donating her body to hungry wolves who have lost their ability to control their sexual urge, she is paid for this donation. If she has class, she makes good money, she is able to pay her way through school, start a business, take care of her demanding family and all that. it's morally wrong to have sex for money, but so many other things are morally wrong, but we still engage in them, like fornication, adultery, lying, cussing and lots more.

we should stop condemning them, we should always advise them to always use protection. Men are the fastest to call them names, the same men who cant do without them grin.

enough said sad

Are u saying we should applaud and encourage them when we see them If yes, then robbers should be given same favourable treatment too embarassed embarassed Too bad, today's world frowns at virtue and embraces vice cry cry I am not going to judge them but if I meet one and have the opportunity, I pray God will help me talk to the person to change her ways for good. And for the men u mentioned, my advice to them is to zip up, have self-control and stick only to their wives tongue

IJN Since you took the time of writing other words in full why abbreviate those? No offence intended but I'll advice you write in Jesus' Name in full next time instead of abbreviating.. I can't imagine myself prayerfully saying those powerful words you mentioned up there only to end it with IJN...
Let's take the time to write IJN (IN JESUS' NAME) in full if that's what we truly mean
