Hmm, Mercy Johnson is indeed living it up with baby purity...
“I am taking a step of faith,” star actress Mercy Johnson said a few days before walking down the aisle last year. Now, if things happening around her are anything to go by, it means Mercy’s faith is certainly paying off.
In December, she delivered a baby girl, Purity, and stayed overseas for five months to ensure she gets necessary immunisation. She’s now back home and counting her blessings. Rather than return to the Omole Estate home she used to share with her husband, Prince Odi, the actress and her baby moved straight into a new mansion in Ajah, Lagos.
“I want Purity, our child, to mark her coming to Nigeria with a new home,” Mercy told a close family friend.
As if that is not enough, Mercy Johnson, has been getting scripts from movie producers who want her back on set.
Nollywood Now reports that many producers in Asaba have been waiting patiently for Mercy to give birth and return to location.
“MJ is in hot demand in Asaba, almost all the movies she did sold like hotcake. Dumebi the Dirty Girl and Babay Oku are still selling; so you’ll understand the reason behind waiting for her,” a source gushed.....

At least 4 people have been confirmed dead in Pastor T.B. Joshua’s Synagogue Church Of All Nations in Spintex Road, Ghana.

The tragic incident occurred after a stampede ensued at the church today during the distribution of free holy water.

Greater Accra Police Public Relations Officer DSP Freeman Tetteh confirmed the death to Joy News and said the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the 37 and Police Hospital mortuaries.

Some 13 persons were also severely injured during the incident.

Thousands of people had flocked the church in pursuit of healing, spiritual and financial breakthrough.

The holy water, to many TB Joshua followers is acclaimed to be the panacea to the many spiritual afflictions.

At the Ghana Music Awards that took place yesterday May 18th in Ghana,and in hand, dancehall artist, Bandana caused some commotion after losing out on the Reggae/Dancehall Song of The Year nod. Bandana who thought he deserved the award won by Kaakie, went into ‘pissy mode’, venting that he had been robbed of his award.
He was seen angrily screaming at the lobby of the venue, where he was temporarily thrown out and detained by security.
He further went to vent his spleen on Charter House, organizers of the awards, as well as Kaakie.
He said:
“F**k Ghana music industry, F**k charter house and I mean this from my heart .i don't need them in any way..."

Emmy Collins is here again with his critical write ups about everything and anything in Nollywood. Last week, it was about Toni Tones, Karen Igho and more of Toni Tones. This week, Linda Ikeji is his target and he titled this piece "Most Effective Ways To Insult Your Readers By Linda Ikeji."
He went on about how bloggers, most especially Linda tend to praise things that are obviously tacky and cheap; he started his attack with the recent photo of Uche Ogbodo which recently surfaced online. ....enjoy:
Sometimes I wonder where the problem lies, is it that most of these bloggers don`t know what sophistication is all about or am I the problem because all I see here is anything but sophistication. The make-up is nothing to write home about while that red hair is as cheap as it gets.

With that red hair I almost came to the conclusion that perhaps Halloween came too soon this year. Come, on Linda,have some respect for your readers; they are not all schmucks.

I am a staunch believer that when cheap garments are accessorized and worn well, the value increases but these cheap pieces were neither accessorized well nor worn well. In fact the cheapness is so thick in the air,I could smell or touch it.My eyes ain`t happy either happy;they feel abused by these images…There aren`t better ways to insult the intelligence of your readers than this.When you have a platform don`t misinform or promote mediocrity with it…

I hate to burst this lady`s burbles as I don`t know what she is selling but Photoshop doesn`t fix every issue, as a matter of fact it exacerbates it sometimes as in this case. Take it from someone who should know and has no ulterior motives towards you. By the way who is she? In her, I see a major contender for Toni Tone`s crown as the drag queen of the nation.
