In a new interview with Leadership, he berated Nigerian musicians for being absent at Kefe's burial saying "Nothing much other than I was disappointed that artistes did not come to show love to their own. It is not a good thing. The lady died and it is sad for her family. Musicians ought to have showed up and rallied round her people, to show that they care. It was only the gospel musicians that showed up, meaning there is no love in this industry. Nobody cares about you if you drop dead tomorrow. I told you I was away for 3 years because of my spinal cord injury. Nobody came to visit me during that time. No one from my generation of singers came to identify with me and that is bad for a man who has given much to the industry. This makes me think that we don’t care about ourselves in this industry. As the Yoruba people say, Oju aaye ni a nse o meaning, na eye service we dey do to oursefu!...This life wetin my eyes don see, no be small thing oh!"

The veteran actress and Samsung ambassador is contesting for the Federal House of Representatives for Calabar Munical/Odukpani Federal Constituency under the PDP.
She will run within the PDP to get the ticket. The primaries is in October. If she wins, she will become Hon. Kate Henshaw. She will be officially unveiled on www.campaign.ng tomorrow July 19th, which is 43rd birthda. Goodluck to her!

So, last night the much talked about corporate elite event went down successfully at the Eko hotel and suites, and the place was filled to the brim.

The performers for the night were Billy Ocean, Dru Hill, Joe, Maxi Priest, Shabbaranks, Awilologomba, Mafikizolo, Kool & Gang and Tevin Campbell and Nigerian talents like Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Iyanya, Praiz, Davido, Kcee, D’prince and Chidinma.

Well, all the guests left fulfilled, they enjoyed all the performances from both the foreign and local artistes, however Iyanya Mbuk failed to deliver!

He did his best, but his best just wasn't good enough for the night; his performance was quite disappointing.

While rating the performances of the event on this morning's Ultimate Show on Raypower FM, presenters Olaitan and Hollywood J had this to say about Iyanya:

"Iyanya's performance was really bad, he killed everyone's spirit....like seriously, everyone was disappointed with Iyanya performance, the dude really needs to do more work if he wants to remain relevant. At some point, people almost booed him off the stage, he realized this too and tried changing songs but still the performance was a No no...he should be creative with his songs...." they said.

Lol, fashion designer Emmy Collins is fast starting to become popular for his jabs at celebrities and this time, his focus was Lola Omotayo Okoye.
Banke Meshiada-Lawal (Lola's make up artist) has been receiving accolades for giving Lola Omotayo's the perfect traditional look (make-up), however, she was all jittery when her friend called her this morning saying
"haaaa Banke! What did u do to Emmy Collins? He has descended on you!" And Banke goes "yeekpa! "Where did I go to wearing the wrong clothes or jacked up makeup...." on scrolling through Emmy's blog however, what she saw made her heave a sigh of relief.

He died this morning.
The singer was very popular in the 90’s for hit singles like ‘yetunde’.
We are not exactly sure of what killed him but there two different accounts of his death.
A music promoter he died at Okokomaiko in a car accident, while another source says he died due to kidney complications.
