One time chairman elect of the Ikoyi/Obalende Local Council Development Area & son of the immediate past Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana, Musiliu Obanikoro, Hon. Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro has been spotted at several occasions with popular tv presenter, Kenny Akinrinmade. They recently attended funke akindele's birthday party.
Kenny calls Jide her "bestest friendship" while he calls her "Abefe eni" Kenny met Jide 5years ago at a friends place - it was actually a certain argument about Kwam 1 that made them friends. While Kenny was arguing, Jide calmly joined in saying "please can I say something..." from there they began talking.
Her respect for Jide Obanikoro grew when she found out how much he loved and still loves God. Whenever he hears the call for prayer, he leaves whatever he is doing to partake in the prayers, he is a very humble Muslim faithful. The much talked about colourful world of more concert went down successfully last night at the Eko hotel and suites. The show was hosted by Basketmouth and Bovi and Chidinma "Ms Kedike" kicked off the show with her hit songs, Burna Boy performed next.The venue was filled to the brim.

Waje performed well but she didn't really thrill the audience as expected, Ice Prince's oleku performance was cool, Wizkid performed Caro, Omo jaiye jaiye (thrilled the crowd), Davido (when the dude announced that he'l give $1000 to the best skelewu dancer, so many youths rushed to the stage when he made the announcement, lol), Olamide (who got everyone singing along and gave a surprise performance with Pyhno), Davido was the only artiste that gave a live performance, the others were lip singing - his skelewu and gobe songs got the crowd screaming for more.

One of the favourite faces in Nollywood, Osita Iheme, popularly known as Pawpaw, in a recent interview cleared the air on his relationship with Goodluck Jonathan, Nigeria’s entertainment industry and his life as a bachelor. See excerpts below:
You are one of the favourite faces in the Nollywood, but recently, it seems you have diverted a title bit or kept a low profile. What really prompted this?
No, I don’t think so. What do you mean by I kept a low profile? That shows you have not fully been following the movie. Have you been to Alaba for a while now? (…laughs) Maybe you have not been watching some movies lately.

Do you ever query your mum why you have this stature?
Why should I do that, my parents are not God. I don’t have to worry her over that. I believe if she knows, she might have tried to do something about it. I know she must have been furious about it when she discovered that I am of small stature, but I feel good because what is supposed to be a burden to her and the entire family is now a blessing. I am happy and my family is happy as well.

How has this name and stature brought you fame?
I thank God in every situation and place I found myself. The moment I discovered that this is the way I am, I asked myself what was the next thing to do, but the spirit in me said I should remain focused. The secret is that I don’t see myself as short until when people draw my attention to it. I have come to realise that it is not by size and it requires that I will definitely get my own portion. It is always good to know who you are and where you are coming from. Some people don’t really know who they are and it is good to communicate with God to discover yourself. If you don’t have a close relationship with Him, you won’t be able to identify who you really are. You need to see yourself as an important personality. Being a peculiar person attracts people to me and I have never looked inferior due to my stature, it has rather turned my disability into ‘This ability’ and it has helped me a lot. I give thanks to God for giving me this wisdom that enabled me to think on what to do at the right time. Opportunity is like a boy without a parent or guardian; it means you can jam it anywhere, especially when you come out from your comfort zone. Moyosade Ologunde has finally walked down the aisle with her boo, Olamide Obilana.
Moyosade is the first daughter of masked Afrobeat musician, Abisade Ologunde (Lagbaja) and they had their traditional wedding Motherlan', Opebiin July while the white wedding and after-party held at the Merion, Cinnaminson Township, New Jersey a few weekends ago. Narrating how they met, Ola says they started out as friends, very close friends but in September 2012, he decided to take their relationship to a new level by proposing to her in a very romantic way. They got married a year later!

New reports surfacing online, claim that Peter Okoye will officially wed his baby mama and fiancée, Lola Omotayo on the 17th of November.
According to Nigeriafilms, "Peter and Lola will be having their traditional marriage on November 17, 2013 at Arc Events Centre, Lagos while their white wedding will hold at a later date in 2014."
The online portal also reported that "a representative of P-Square confirmed this to us when contacted...with this development, arrangements are already ongoing to make the day a memorable one."

Beverly Osu might just be bagging her very first brand endorsement deal with Prestige Cosmetics Nigeria soon.
The brand took to twitter some hours ago to announce that they need a face/ambassador, thus asking their followers to suggest names or personalities that would fit in for the position. The brand gave out some names - Funke Akindele, Rita Dominic, Waje, Nadia Buari, Toyin Aimakhu, Ini Edo, Omotola Ekeinde, Tiwa Savage etc and asked peeps to nominate their favorite celebrities but surprisingly many of them began suggesting and nominating Beverly Osu with claims that "she's got a flawless skin she ll be a great ambassador...she's sexy, classy, flamboyant and represents both the old and new generation...."
