Tinubu forced Ganduje to resign as chairman when the prospect of Kwankwaso joining APC was in full swing. It was one of Kwankwaso's demands. Previously, Ganduje was stalling his resignation as demanded by Tinubu until he received a visit from a top head of an agency with unsigned resignation letter along with his corruption files. It was the disappointment and shame that banished him to London until he was prevailed upon to return by his loyalists. He's only "loyal" because they have his files. His enthusiastic return, just like this statement, is one final push to try to make Kwankwaso's defection to APC as unpalatable as possible.

Tinubu will miscalculate if he thinks he will gain more by replacing Shettima for Kwankwaso. The fallout of such decision will precipitate the implosion of APC in the North. Unknown to many, the APC in Kano is already highly factionalised and only being held by a thread. The opposition is set to benefit from all likely scenarios. I won't explain further. Game on!

So you see, Tinubu has paid his dues fully to the north. The only unethical and desperate candidate is Atiku who doesn’t respect the need for rotation and balancing. Atiku was a member of PDP before jumping out to work against Jonathan in 2015. Same Atiku promised to support a south east candidate in 2023 if the position is zoned to the region by PDP. Now that he’s in ADC and there is no Wike to blame, why is he still putting himself up on the ballot? Why can’t he support Peter Obi who has been begging and asking for his support? Why is he so selfish and desperate for power?

Leave all these wailing aside. Peter Obi is a Southerner and was in the Labour party. What happened to the Labour party? What is happening to the PDP and why is Tinubu empowering his appointee to destroy all opposition parties? No president ever did that. Not even General Buhari. I repeat, is Tinubu's intention to run unopposed as the only Southern candidate while accusing any Northerner of unethical conduct? We all know Tinubu never wanted the ADC to come to fruition and is preventing registration of new parties. These are all dictatorial conduct and it smacks of fear. Lessons will be learnt.

Elrufai used his first year in office to carry out reforms including establishing so many state agencies like Kadgis, Kastlea, Kadirs, etc amid bold reforms in education and healthcare. The second tenure was for massive infrastructural development. Uba Sani is mediocre and is taking the state backwards.

None of Buhari’s men are in Tinubu’s government today. He systematically sidelined all of them, cornering everything for ACN. There was no love lost between Tinubu and Buhari before his death, but Buhari was just a faithful party man despite the treachery. Tinubu is now running from pillar to post, attending weddings and signing and re-signing condolence registers in a bid to milk Buhari’s votes but it's all dead on arrival.

Funny. Atiku got nearly 7m votes in 2023 at a time when the clamour for power to shift to the South was stronger than ever, even from influential Northern politicians. He won Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Osun in 2023 too. Contrast with Tinubu who only won 4 states in the entire South with all 4 being from the Southwest while performing woefully in others. The North made Tinubu president but he has since blown that goodwill with betrayals, incompetence and unprecedented nepotism. The North has since realised that Atiku or any other politician in the race is an angel compared to who Tinubu really is.

He had better declare more State of Emergency in more Southern States and armtwist more governors from the South to forcefully decamp to the APC. We can all see that the love just isn't there, it's coerced. The North will no longer carry him over the finish line in 2027.

No-one is excusing corruption. Jonathan does not enjoy immunity and is currently not in power. What stops the APC from prosecuting him for the past 10 years? This is only being resurrected now because there are feelers that Jonathan will soon be entering the race. Beyond media trials, if Tinubu can seek reelection, then Jonathan is doubly qualified to also seek reelection. Simple.

What do you expect from people used to mediocrity. The barest minimum will seem like a lot. They thought Abuja began in 2023. Wike is building bus parks and overhead bridges with so much fanfare and media frenzy but he still hasn't done a quarter of what Elrufai did as Minister and neither will he. A city should be ran like a living thing or it will decay. Abuja is currently dirty with no plans to clean the city. How about public transportation? In shambles. Wike is busy going against the city masterplan by allocating parks and green areas to his families and cronies.

APC Lagos will eventually implode. The stiffling hold that Tinubu has on the state is choking everybody including Sanwo-olu. Just look at how Tinubu undid Obasa's constitutional impeachment with brute force rendering the governor powerless. So many people are quietly disgruntled. It is part of why Tinubu lost Lagos but Sanwo-olu won his re-election. So many people are struggling to break free from the 20 years shackles of Tinubu in the state.

Really? What radio station? Tinubu has seen with the boycott of the Rivers LG election that the people of Rivers are not with Wike. He will blindside Wike to cut a deal with Fubara who obviously still enjoys public support. Tinubu's 2027 strategy is to ride on the popularity of others because he knows he has become grossly unpopular.

Fubara would be pressured to decamp. The threat of EFCC will be used against him just as it was used against Ganduje to resign. Fubara was a wanted man whom Wike hid in the government house until he became governor. Tinubu has his files and it is how they got him to become humble during the SOE. All these decamping under duress and purchasing loyalty through shady deals will not last. They will eventually plot to break free from the stiffling hold. This was why Sanwo-olu allegedly funded Atiku covertly and will do it again.

Atiku Abubakar is on record as the most wicked and corrupt person to ever serve in a high profile office in Nigeria. He was indicted by the US Senate and his collaborator, a US Congress member was jailed in the US. If Atiku was a US citizen, he would still be in prison by now.
