PoliticsRe: Top 6 Sources Of Anambra State's IGR — 2024 by AMINDA: 4:51pm On Jul 17, 2025
What a PR disaster from the Anambra state government. Peter Obi was right! What number is "Solution Fun City" on the list? Nowhere to be found.
PoliticsRe: Adeleke Is A Political Orphan Begging To Join APC — Senator Iyiola Omisore by AMINDA:
The implosion of Osun APC is inevitable. Same as in Delta. Osun APC are seriously resisting Adeleke's impending defection. Tinubu will end up destroying the APC in most states with this obsession of attracting politicians from other parties and handing over party structures to them. He did the same when he won the election and discarded party loyalists who worked hard to deliver him and began to actively court fierce critics like Reno, Bwala and Co to come and feast where they never sowed. It screams desperation, ungratefulness and selfishness.

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Honoured Buhari In Death, But Buhari Snubbed Shagari When He Died —G/Son by AMINDA: 4:07pm On Jul 17, 2025
Watianoengineer:
Buhari toppled shagari's government if I may recall. Fulani's hardly forgive grievances. Whatever reason buhari had to sack shagari's government was still fresh in Buhari's mind. Kudos to president Tinubu for leading the state burial from the front. He's leadership has soften the heart of some northerners and may win him more votes from Buhari's cult followers in 2027

Don't vote for serial decampees like Obi and Atiku. Asiwaju till 2031
It would be far beneficial for supporters of Tinubu to cease hoping to make political capital out of Buhari’s burial. It has the opposite effect on true supporters of Buhari. However concealed, we all know there was no love lost between Buhari and Tinubu in the days leading to his demise.
PoliticsRe: We Brought Buhari Into Politics To Stop OPC Dismantling Fulani In Ilorin – Buba by AMINDA: 4:01pm On Jul 17, 2025
Interesting revelation. It can be argued that Tinubu has continued with this vendetta against the Fulanis just like the OPC by systematically trying to cut them off from power completely. However, for every action, he should expect a reaction that need not be equal. The North-Southwest alliance as was conceived may be dead. It's currently one-sided. There may be a need to rewrite the terms if it is to continue. Otherwise, it's "to thy tents, Oh Israel!"
PoliticsRe: Setting The Record: CPC Bloc's Continued Commitment To APC - Okoi Obono-Obla by AMINDA: 12:46pm On Jul 17, 2025
Same man who attacked and insulted Buhari while alive for dropping him due to corruption charges is now claiming to be CPC. Anyways, the fact that Tinubu's fiercest opponents today were in the APC should tell you that there's no pathway to his re-election. He has lost voters and has not gained enough to make up for the lost votes. Don't forget he won with the slimmest margin of victory ever in the history of the country.
PoliticsRe: Coalition Effect: Tinubu May Resume Fuel Subsidy Payment by AMINDA: 12:41pm On Jul 17, 2025
Tinubu destroyed the economy from day one with his sheer arrogance and megalomanic "I know-it-all" mentality. They have been secretly paying subsidies and defending the naira while borrowing record-breaking loans but without any resultant effect on the livelihood of the people. He's grossly overrated.
PoliticsRe: 2027: Dele Momodu Resigns From PDP, defects to ADC by AMINDA: 11:40am On Jul 17, 2025
Omenlon:
who knows Dele momodu in Edo politics? Some of you over rate this people too much.
The only politicians who aren't nonentities to you Gbatists are the ones that decamp to the APC. Does Reno Omokri and Daniel Bwala have polling units? Why then did you Gbatists celebrate their defection to the APC?
PoliticsRe: 2027 Tensions: Buhari’s CPC Bloc May Dump APC by AMINDA:
Buhari’s allies already left the APC with the express Knowledge of Buhari while he was still alive. Infact, Buhari made it clear that he won't stop any of his allies from leaving the party if they choose to do so. The constant attacks on Buhari by proxies of Tinubu was in bad taste.

Tinubu mishandled the goodwill he enjoyed from the Northern APC preferring instead to come with vendetta. He missed the opportunity to extend an olive branch and heal the house like a father-figure would do. Discarding hardworking APC founding members like Elrufai due to a long-held grudge and even former allies like Fashola, despite how hard they worked to deliver his candidacy. He came with a "winner takes it all" mentality and now the chickens have come home to roost.
BusinessRe: CBN Injects $4.1bn To Defend Naira As Reserves Decline by AMINDA: 11:14am On Jul 17, 2025
Everything they vilified Buhari for, they now do multiple folds of it with nothing to show except more hardship and inflation. Buhari was a better manager of the economy than Tinubu and his overrated Lagos Areaboys.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu's Alignment With The South A Sensible Move. by AMINDA: 7:51am On Jul 17, 2025
alanto:
Lol. The only one that spoke for him then but is against the president now is El Rufai. All others are in line. You talk like there's no northerner in his government. You talk like there are no Northern Governor, Senator, or House of Rep members that are APC members. Who dey fear party with non political office holder? Your league is full of former this and that. And you think that will unseat the one party state we have right now?

Dreamer. I specifically mentioned you because you are one of the very few northerners that are campaigning for Atiku but y'all make yourselves look like majority. After you and Sarrki that are faceless. I don't know any northerner that is using their face to talk bad against Tinubu.
If you believe all these, why then did you create the thread? Tinubu's allies and Northern voters are still intact so why then do you try to rationalise his pivot to the South? I hope you're reading the comments of Southsoutherners? Barring rigging, Tinubu cannot win the Southsouth in 2027. He "won" only Rivers state in the Southsouth the last time and nothing has changed.
PoliticsRe: 2027: Dele Momodu Resigns From PDP, defects to ADC by AMINDA:
Globad:
How do you KNOW that he will be too ashamed to decamp to APC?

isn't this an assumption on your part?
He may decamp because that would be the only way to save his skin but he has lost his leverage. He's now at the mercy of Tinubu. Akpabio is now his leader in the Southsouth followed by Oshiomhole. He has to know his place in the pecking order.
PoliticsRe: 2027: Dele Momodu Resigns From PDP, defects to ADC by AMINDA: 7:38am On Jul 17, 2025
PDP is now a carcass. Wike is the biggest loser in all of these because he's now without a platform and will be too ashamed to decamp to APC.

In their desperation to run unopposed, APC destroyed all opposition parties thereby making sure that Obi could no longer run as a third force nor Atiku under the platform of PDP. This has turned out to be a strategic mistake. They never saw the coalition coming. Notwithstanding, Seyi Makinde must contest under the PDP in 2027.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu's Alignment With The South A Sensible Move. by AMINDA: 7:29am On Jul 17, 2025
Fear and trepidation, is that you? Tinubu is on the right track with his Southern trajectory but please stop creating all these pathetic pity threads. He should continue to strive to make up for the 5.6m Northern votes he will lose in the South but he should focus on winning the people over and not the politicians. Someone who won with muslim-muslim ticket is suddenly pivoting to brand himself as the Southern and Christian candidate? Dead on arrival.

Where are the strong Northern voices who stood strong for Tinubu's election in 2023? Which Northerner is Tinubu banking upon to deliver the North for him? Bring Reno Omokri and Daniel Bwala to come campaign for him in the North. There is always a payback for treachery, betrayal, arrogance and ungratefulness.
PoliticsRe: 2027 Warning Shot: 5 Jagaban Moves Every Opponent Should Be Wary Of by AMINDA: 6:27am On Jul 17, 2025
Gbatists still have their heads buried in the sand. You all are living in lala land and have refused to face reality. Tinubu is grossly unpopular across the country except maybe in Yorubaland.
PoliticsRe: Atiku’s Exit Would Not Significantly Affect The Party - Adamawa PDP by AMINDA: 6:24am On Jul 17, 2025
Dannyset:
Same mouth you all made in 2023 when this same man had the backing of Buhari cabal. No new bigwig has joined him in the party except the same people that worked for him in 2023.

Many of you will open and not be able to close their mouth in 2027 when you see what hit you.
By 2027, you all will witness what it means to have the backing of the Buhari cabal. Tinubu should kiss his 5.6m Northern votes goodbye and start strategizing how to make up for them in the South.
PoliticsRe: Adeleke Can't Join Osun APC Through Dapo Abiodun - Senator Omisore by AMINDA: 6:20am On Jul 17, 2025
Tinubu will end up destroying the APC in most states with this obsession of attracting politicians from other parties and handing over party structures to them. PoliticsRe: Gov Diri’s Defection To APC Non-Negotiable, Sacrosanct - Gov’s Aide by AMINDA: 7:37pm On Jul 16, 2025
All these defections have failed to give APC the much needed momentum. Everywhere you go, it's all about coalition. Hence why Kwankwaso and even Adeleke are still dragging their feet.
PoliticsRe: Buhari: ‘medicine After Death’, Omokri Calls Out Peter Obi Over Visit To Daura by AMINDA: 6:20pm On Jul 16, 2025
Tinubu bringing the likes of Reno Omokri and Bwala to become his spokespersons after spending 8 years insulting Buhari is one of the reasons why he lost the North.
PoliticsRe: “It May End Your Political Career” – ADC Sends Strong Warning To Peter Obi by AMINDA: 5:23pm On Jul 16, 2025
The best time for Peter Obi to leave the coalition was yesterday. The second best time is now. He won't be missed. Not in the slightest.
PoliticsRe: What Buhari Told Me During Campaign In 2023 – Peter Obi by AMINDA:
Buhari was a rare breed. They don't make them like him anymore. Good night, General!. Thank you for the kind words, H.E Peter Obi.

PoliticsRe: Breaking: Atiku Resigns From PDP by AMINDA: 3:39pm On Jul 16, 2025
NgeneUkwenu:
Atiku with No Governor To Partner In The Whole Of South South, South West, North Central and South East, Is Just Embarking On An Exercise In Futility...He is already doomed before the first ballot is cast. His Muslim votes from North West and North East wont take him anyway. grin
Why are you and Tinubu obsessed so with governors? How many governors did Obi have when he cleared all states in the Southeast and Southsouth, barring Rivers that was blatantly rigged? How many APC governors successfully delivered their states to Tinubu in 2023 both in the North and South? The Muslim voters gave Tinubu 5.6m votes in 2023 due to muslim-muslim ticket, is Tinubu still counting on that or he is now the Christian candidate? Time is a gentleman.
PoliticsRe: It Appears Peter Obi Has Dribbled Himself Out Of The 2027 Elections by AMINDA: 3:10pm On Jul 16, 2025
HEAVEN4444:
In his strategic moves it appears he has dribbled himself out of the competition. Like that striker that dribbles everybody out of touch. His hecky jerky movements of non commitment so as to last minute jump into the favorable position has cost him. The ADC guys are not going to give him the ticket. He will have to pry that ticket out of the dead cold hands of sai Dubai and might I add sai Dubai is looking very fit these days. That man not planning to be an ancestor any time soon. The LP guys have taken their party back. He can't join APC . PDP he can't return to. It appears Peter obi has dribbled himself out of the contest. Lord have mercy upon us
It's APC's loss. In their desperation to run unopposed, they destroyed all opposition parties thereby making sure that Obi could no longer run as a third force nor Atiku under the platform of PDP. This has turned out to be a strategic mistake. They never saw the coalition coming.
PoliticsRe: Breaking: Atiku Resigns From PDP by AMINDA: 3:04pm On Jul 16, 2025
The coalition is rapidly taking shape. Atiku has yet again out-manoeuvred Wike and ultimately, Tinubu without losing momentum. The pressure is now on Wike. In APC's desperation for a one-party state, they've only succeeded in giving Atiku a stronger platform without the baggage and stigma that PDP already had. Atiku would have been less lethal in the now defunct PDP. Your move, Tinubu.

Tragic. Tell Alex Otti to hasten up and pay them their entitlements and stop frolicking with Tinubu!

Fear is that you? Anyways, Time is a gentleman.

"The guy is gone!"
PoliticsRe: Obi Should Just Forget About The ADC Ticket With What I Saw Yesterday At Kastina by AMINDA:
bigpicture001:
Nigeria is not all about the north... Obi gets same treatment here in the south.... So it should b about sacrifices and compromise
If you're confident that Obi can defeat Tinubu in the South and protect his votes, then he should go ahead and contest as an independent candidate. Tinubu will come third in that scenario. The North is already settled for Atiku and Northerners will defend their votes, plus they have the numbers. Unlike in 2023, Atiku will end up getting enough votes from pragmatic Southerners and Easterners who wouldn't want to sink with Obi. This will be enough to take him through the finish line. The coalition would forge ahead with or without Obi. Infact, Obi needs the coalition more than the coalition needs him. Numbers don't lie.
PoliticsRe: Atiku, Obi, El-Rufai, Others Visit Buhari's family (Photos) by AMINDA: 1:46pm On Jul 16, 2025
Akpakomiza2:
El rufai didn't get up to a million in 2019 sir. How come tinubu won Jigawa and zamfara and came close in Katsina, kebbi, sokoto ?
What's your own source that he didn't? He remains the first and only governor to do it and to do it twice!

PoliticsRe: Atiku, Obi, El-Rufai, Others Visit Buhari's family (Photos) by AMINDA: 12:34pm On Jul 16, 2025

Kastonkastroll:
Guy forget talk. Elrufai is still a featherweight politician in the north. The reason he even became a governor was because of the buhari tsunami of 2015. I will take his political sagacity serious if he is able to remove the current governor of his state.

Forget talk, we know who holds the knife and cake when it comes to Northern strongmen. Elrufai might be a formidable foe because of his intelligence but omo, where serious men are calculating, elrufai will definitely take the back seat!
Okay, we hear you. Elrufai is a featherweight politician, just like Aregbesola and every other politician in the ADC. The only heavyweights are the ones decamping to APC. Time is a gentleman. Elrufai is the only gubernatorial candidate in the nation’s history to have won his election with over a million votes and he did it twice. Make of that what you will.

That he couldn't deliver Tinubu in Kaduna is because Tinubu was grossly unpopular. Same as how Sanwo-olu won convincingly but failed to deliver Tinubu in Lagos.
PoliticsRe: Wike Dares Senator Ireti Kingibe: ‘Go To Satellite Towns And Campaign Against Me by AMINDA: 12:26pm On Jul 16, 2025
Shawarmagirl:
Can somebody remind this guy that Buhari is actually dead and nothing, I mean absolutely nothing was buried alongside with him today. He became powerless. So let Wike calm down.

Meanwhile, a former President was buried, no single President from other countries or their representative attended the burial.
Grow up already. Buhari was buried within 48 hours of his demise. You need more time than that to plan presidential trips. Even Jonathan could not attend Yaradua's funeral for the same reason.

The attendance or lack of any person changes nothing. Buhari was a devoted Muslim and muslims don't engage in elaborate funerals. The only thing that matters now is between himself and his maker.
