If Obi makes the mistake of running solo as a third force outside of the coalition, he would be hounded and prevented from campaigning across the length and breath of the South and in other APC-affiliated states. He will then be brazenly rigged out and "heaven will not fall". Obidients will only make noise and lament online and then use twitter hashtags to protest. On the other hand, Atiku is set to get the majority votes in all permutations if he wins the ADC ticket. Obi might come second if the elections in the South are free and fair but that's unlikely to be the case. Atiku MAY lack the necessary spread in a three-horse race and that would only throw the election into a run-off. Whoever Obi endorses will end up winning the run-off election. Politics is not an emotional sport. |
98% of Tinubu's current supporters are from the Southwest. They either have no sense of awareness to how unpopular Tinubu is across other parts of the country or they are pretending to be unaware. Time is a gentleman. |
plantist:Lol. Ever heard about the story of the King who had no clothes on and walked naked in the Palace while everyone pretended he was fully draped and admired his elegant dressing? When you meet a lover of sycophancy and megalomania, you act like a sycophant. Tinubu himself unveiled the largest self-portrait on June 12th, the first anniversary of his presidency at Eagle Square. He's self-absorbed in a pathetic way. In contrast, Buhari rejected the naming of the Ebonyi airport by Umahi after himself and requested that it be named after Chuba Okadigbo, his late running mate.

seunmsg:Admit it. Tinubu is very unpopular among the Southern electorates. Go to any Southsouth state and confirm. Some of you Yorubas are just trying to force a Southern alliance that does not exist in reality. You are banking on governors to rig but you will be disappointed. Tinubu is finding it very difficult to consolidate that Southern alliance he desperately seeks and for good reasons. First, because he was the Muslim-Muslim candidate in 2023 that got delivered by the North and secondly, because of his role in sabotaging another Southerner in 2015. I haven't even included his woeful performance into the equation. Unlike in 2023, Tinubu has now been tested and has failed. |
The master strategist and self-proclaimed financial engineer is borrowing 32 trillion naira to fund a 55 trillion naira budget. This does not even align with the MTEF. This is despite the widely celebrated fuel subsidy removal and IMF-inspired currency devaluation that has now plunged more Nigerians into abject poverty. Largest cabinet in the history of the country, but one can barely point at 5 working ministers. He has abandoned governance and commenced his reelection campaign from day one of his tenure. No ministerial oversight, no accountability from his appointees, no coordination. At this rate, anyone but Tinubu will do better even without a manifesto. Tinubu and his Lagos Areaboys are highly overrated. |
Tinubu has killed the agricultural sector with his fixation with importation while price of fertilisers go off the roof. He lied to Nigerian farmers.
|
TimeManager:No it won't. Too many people laying claims to the seat. It will end up creating disenchantment from those who would lose out and their supporters. Same as how Ganduje is now disenchanted and has tacitly pulled away from Tinubu giving flimsy excuses from London. |
With no project or achievements to claim in Kaduna, they are now clutching at straws. All structural buildings in the college were long completed under previous governments. The accreditation process only got completed now but Tinubu is rushing to claim this one as his achievement as usual and will probably organise an elaborate commissioning ceremony and name the institution after himself. Project bandits and Achievement rustlers! |
seunmsg:Well, below are the list of APC governors and politicians that couldn’t deliver Tinubu for their party but somehow, we are to believe that all Southern governors will now deliver an even more unpopular Tinubu in 2027. I just hope you all will wake and smell the coffee before its too late. - Bola Tinubu failed to deliver Lagos for himself - Bola Tinubu failed to deliver Osun for himself - Muhammadu Buhari failed to deliver Katsina for Tinubu/APC - Barr Simon Bako Lalong failed to deliver Plateau for Tinubu/APC - SP Akpabio failed to deliver Akwa Ibom for Tinubu/APC - DSP Barau failed to deliver Kano for Tinubu/APC - NSA Ribadu failed to deliver Adamawa for Tinubu/APC - Sen. Adams Oshimole failed to deliver Edo for Bola Tinubu/APC - Speaker Abbas failed to deliver Kaduna for Tinubu/APC - Sen Kalu failed to deliver Abia for Tinubu/APC - Hope Uzodinma failed to deliver Imo for Tinubu/APC. - Sen. Adams Oshimole failed to deliver Edo for Bola Tinubu/APC - Ganduje failed to deliver Kano for Tinubu/APC - Gov. Mai Mala failed to deliver Yobe for Tinubu/APC - Alkali failed to deliver Gombe for Tinubu/APC - Sen. Wammako failed to deliver Sokoto for Tinubu/APC - Oyetola failed to deliver Osun for Tinubu/APC - Dave Umahi failed to deliver Ebonyi for Tinubu/APC |
Softmirror:Few months ago, you all were out to kill Dangote's refinery preferring importation from Malta while accusing him of monopoly. Today, you're famzing him because he stood on business and resisted the sabotage. No one is fooled. Not even Dangote himself. |

Adeleke never learnt anything from the Fubara debacle. Bullies only respect brute strength. Tinubu has probed him and discovered how weak he is. He will be uselessed. His endorsement of Tinubu two years to an election was also a bad judgment on his part. All his leverage is gone. |
Little wonder Nigeria is undergoing its worse run ever in terms of international affairs and diplomacy. In early 2026, he would use ambassadorial appointments as a political tool to buy more voters. |
seunmsg:Lol. What's with the obsession with governors and decamping by you APC folks. Are all these places you mentioned aware that they are voting Tinubu in 2027? Name 5 APC governors in the entire South that delivered their state to Tinubu in 2023. Yes, you may include APC governors in Yorubaland. I'm waiting. Unless governors in the Southsouth are willing to spill their people's blood to rig Tinubu into power, Tinubu cannot win the Southsouth. Neither can he win the Southeast, even if blood is spilled. |
Ikaeniyan0:Of course he was saying the truth. His own truth in his capacity as Special Adviser to the President on Livestock Reforms and National Coordinator of the Presidential Livestock Reform Initiative. |
seunmsg:If it comes to that and push comes to shove, we know who has the advantage of numbers and it is not Tinubu. |
seunmsg:By the time you Southwesterners realise that you're isolated heading into 2027, it will be too late. If I were Tinubu, I would be very worried if all my supporters had only names sounding like yours behind his candidacy, both online and offline. We know behind the fake smiles, you all are genuinely worried. By the way, when is Kwankwaso joining the APC? Is Tinubu done begging yet? |
Somehow, we are expected to believe that Peter Obi is dribbling or attempting to resolve his issues with Abure that just received a set of new instructions from his master, Wike. Obidients should get serious and stop being naïve. If Peter Obi is not careful, he'll find himself isolated and without a platform in 2027. The hostilities he's currently facing from virtually all the Southern or APC-affiliated governors are a dress rehearsal for the blatant rigging that is about to be carried out against him if he runs solo. Obidients only make noise online, but Atiku's northern voters will show workings. It will be impossible for Tinubu to rig northern votes. |
Wike is outdoing himself to show that he can still offer something to Tinubu but the approach is wrong. It puts off a lot of neutrals and undecided voters. Unless APC decides to engage in brazen rigging as was done in Rivers by Wike, Tinubu will still not win the South outside of his Southwest region. |
UpaIweka:Yes. Obi won all the Southern states I listed including Lagos. Atiku won all the Northern states I listed except Kano. |
Igirigimercenar:Lol. Please don't loud it. Tinubu will attempt to rig but it would not be enough. The permutations have already been done and concluded. Tinubu has no pathway to re-election. You can take this to the bank. |
esnbrutality:Deep down, they're clearly scared. Atiku would only need half the votes from the East to be president. His 2027 numbers from the North will be unprecedented. Just wait and see. Even Tinubu knows. Lol. |
LegendHero:Going by your logic, Tinubu is a lightweight because he lost Lagos and Osun. Sanwo-olu was set to lose the gubernatorial but for voter suppression and intimidation in Lagos. (Our Lagos, not your Lagos). Is Kwankwaso now the new bride? It used to be Elrufai during the last election. Then it became Shettima. No, before Shettima, it was Ribadu. Lol. Lessons will be learnt in 2027. The North has found you lots out for what you really are. We expect Kwankwaso to decamp anytime soon, Tinubu has gone to Kano to bend the knee after discarding Ganduje. But it won't be enough, I promise you. Lol. |
Burob:Easiest way to take a sample test to nullify this hypothesis is that 90% of you pushing Tinubu's market are from the Southwest. That's not how presidential elections are won. You don't have the numbers but the Northerners are not just loud about it. I wouldn't be so confident if I were you but time is a gentleman. |
LegendHero:Okay, we hear you. Tinubu who couldn't win more than 4 states in the South in 2023 (we know Obi won Rivers) will now win the entire South in a landslide in 2027 because the governors endorse him. Time is a gentleman. The North voted Tinubu in 2027 largely because of Elrufai who galvanised young Northern voters on the need to keep their word as Northerners (Amana). Even then, it was difficult due to Tinubu's baggages that was even untested as at then but he got 5.6m votes nonetheless. Tinubu himself has broken that pact now, and the numbers will show in 2027. Who's the loud voice campaigning for Tinubu in the North today? How many Northerners are decamping to the APC? Why hasn't Kwankwaso decamped yet? Why couldn't Umahi, Sanwo-olu, Oshiomhole, Uzodinma, Masari, Ganduje, and many sitting APC governors deliver their states to Tinubu in 2023? |
LegendHero:How would he do that? Are endorsements by governors tantamount to winning the entire votes in a state? That's how you lot place so much hope in governors and then accuse them of working against your candidate when they find it hard to deliver or rig in your candidate. Just like you do to Sanwo-olu. Tinubu won only 5 states in the entire South in 2023. 4 in SW and Rivers state in the SS. Barring rigging, nothing much has changed with his woeful performance. In contrast, Atiku won Osun, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa in 2023. I hope you can do the maths? |
yarimo:Yes. Aregbesola would get good numbers for ADC in Osun State notwithstanding. ADC is not projecting to win the state in the presidential elections but its doable. |
I hope Tinubu will now go ahead to finally release the local government allocations as ruled by the courts. Endorsements through coercion and inducements is not something to celebrate but that's where we've found ourselves in Tinubu’s democracy. |
This is what happens when you have a president beholden to an appointee and he knows it. Wike knows the president needs him around for the dirty politics and he's capitalising upon it. |
The choice of chairmanship is another decision that would create problems in the APC causing discontent amongst supporters of those that will lose out in the powerplay. ADC will get some advantage here. |
ThunderfireNLMO:Don't mind them. Shettima is next in line to be called a small boy after Tinubu betrays him. The North will respond to their treachery in 2027. For now, they think they are playing Kwankwaso but Kwankwaso is the one playing them. |
LagosPrince:Kwankwaso will eventually join the APC but he hasn't gotten all his demands yet. Sacking Ganduje is not enough. He needs total control of the entire APC structure in Kano. Tinubu will succumb. He's that desperate. But strategically, is winning Kano with marginal votes worth losing the entire Northeast for? Time shall tell. |
