Let the primary be without inducement is that too much to ask. Charity begins at home. We need to begin to build a foundation upon which to build our nation. And that will mean having a primary that free and fair without inducement. ADC needs to put their house in order.
How can the primaries be induced when it will be a direct primary? Even you can register and vote for your preferred candidate. Would an aspirant get your account number and wire you dollars for your support? This line of argument is long dead.

So the Kaduna rail system is busier than Port Harcourt -Aba route?
All dis na because he wan do for Lagos so he has to mention Kaduna and Kano states make northerners nor shout. He he wan act fairly, he suppose concentrate on inter states rail and allow state governors take care of internal rail systems. Imagine no rail line between Lagos and Abuja, Phc and Abuja, Kano and Abuja, calaba and Abuja. It's a shame that he isn't even talking about the interstate rail lines.
Northerners gave him 5.6m votes. Did the other South vote for him. He could have still chosen to make his presidency truly representative of the South but this is clearly not the case. Come 2027, if Obi is not on the ballot and VP slot is too small, the Southeast should rather vote Tinubu than observe apathy.

Basic123:
Which infrastructure are you talking abouthuh??.
By the way,All this your lame anti-yoruba narratives will not make Atiku the president through Igbo votes.
If you Love them so much, ask Atiku to step down for peter OBI
This goes beyond Atiku or Obi. Tinubu should make his presidency truly about the "South." Buhari did the same across the entire North. There was no segregation. He even delivered the monumental Second Bridge to the East.

Basic123:
so,Its only Yoruba people that ply the bridgehuhhuhhuh?

The bridge is busier than an average other bridge in the country.
Does it occur to you that Yorubas will also populate the Southeast today if those number of infrastructure were sited in the East over the years? Why then do you ask them to "go back to their region" every electoral cycle?

mrvitalis:
You are obviously not on ground

U want me a human with sense to replace Tinubu with Atiku?

If North won't vote Obi key Tinubu continue
This was the list of FEC projects awarded yesterday. Where is the Southeast on this list? This is under a "Southern government". Since the VP slot is too small for your region as a launchpad, those who thinks it isn't will keep going for it and moving all the projects to their region while your grandchildren are left a share of the debt burden to repay. Let Tinubu continue. It's not as bad as it seems, Shettima is currently Tinubu's Vice and Norrherners are still well represented in the APC. Power will head North in 2031, worse case scenario. When you play politics at the national level, the only question that matters is, "what's in it for my region?" Only one region appear to be getting shortchanged. I wonder why.

PoliticsRe: Peter Obi's Chances 2027 Is Slimmer by AMINDA: 9:02am On May 01
Peter Obi is scared of deputising Obi because he fears he would lose some of his base, and quite frankly, he will. However, he fails to consider that he will gain far more by gaining an even far greater support base in the North. It can even be argued that Obi has lost some base, especially in the middlebelt, even if he contests solo. Tinubu didn't win the South but still became president simply because the North gave him substantial votes to overwrite the difference. Obi should also consider the political interest of the Southeast region before making his move. Enough said!
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi On His Way Out Of The ADC- Tweeps by AMINDA: 8:45am On May 01
DomPerignon:
You are an obtuse dense door stopping peg to think Tinubu will not welcome Obi repeating the same foolishness of 2023.

But this time, Obi will only have SE bigoted votes while the SS and NC will not be voting another Fulani man.

The tally is there,:

Tinubu will clear SW, SS, NC and get a good showing in the NE and NW i.e. the minimum 1/3rd requirement.

Obi can take the SE.

Atiku will barely win the NW and NE (outside Taraba, Adamawa)
I won't immerse myself in the gutter with you, that's your turf. Is Tinubu still banking on the 5.6m votes from the North? Will he still be running on muslim-muslim ticket? Time is a gentleman.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Invited To The U.S. To Speak At Congress by AMINDA: 8:41am On May 01
Tinubu is under intense international scrutiny. The agenda is already being set. Trump is only looking for an excuse to make a move. Tinubu had better not grant him one. Elections are won in Nigeria through the ballots, not through the courts before election day.

PoliticsRe: Peter Obi On His Way Out Of The ADC- Tweeps by AMINDA: 8:35am On May 01
Since it is clear that some Obidients won't support the ADC if Obi is not the candidate, it will be beneficial for the coalition if Obi runs solo. He won't win but it's important he balkanizes those votes down South and ensures that Tinubu is not able to flip any voter by using the "turn of the South" mantra. Unbeknownst to Obi, his base even in the Southeast will be split three ways with all candidates getting their fair share. Unlike in 2023, a section of the East will still vote pragmatically to maintain a stake in the ADC.

The joke is on the poster above me. Accusing others of hatred while they openly perpetrate it against others. Okay, Southeasterners should all relocate to Lagos in order to use the infrastructure that are being built with our collective patrimony. This was the list of projects approved by the FEC yesterday. Does this list look fair to you?

PoliticsRe: 2027: Governor Nwifuru, Umahi ‘clash’ Over Consensus Candidates, Direct Primary by AMINDA: 8:21am On May 01
Is there any state where there is no acrimony in the APC of today? Tinubu overturned internal democracy and entrenched baba sopécracy in order to handpick candidates in every state. He has now invariably set the stage for the final implosion and burial of the APC. So dark the con of man!
PoliticsRe: Abdulrahman Mohammed still PDP National Chairman. - Wike-Backed BoT by AMINDA: 8:19am On May 01
seunmsg:
The Supreme Court clearly nullified the fraudulent Ibadan convention yesterday. Thereafter, the Makinde faction starting peddling lies about the take over of the party by Wabara and other members of the discredited faction. The fact is, the Supreme Court never ruled that Chris Anyanwu was suspended as that was not even before the court.

The NWC led by Abdulrahman Mohammed was never nullified. The leadership of the party remains fully authentic and in office. If you’re a PDP member and want to contest, go to Wadata plaza and obtain your nomination form before it is too late. Wa bars and the other clowns in the Makinde group are already on their way to ADC. They won’t sell nomination forms to anyone. Be guided.
You don't have to lie to drive home your point. The Supreme Court nullified the Ibadan convention but also affirmed the suspension of Anyanwu. This invariably means that the Arabian Tea convention is also a nullity. Wike and his band of jesters can approach the Supreme Court for interpretation if they need more clarity. The real BOT have taken over leadership of the party.

Second Niger Bridge was started and completed by a Fulani man from Daura. What has the "turn of the South" president done for the other South outside of Lagos and his region?

Formidable opposition can only happen with a united opposition and concensus flag bearer any divided opposition is giving tinubu an advantage.
Not in 2027. If Obi contests solo again and wins the South, where will Tinubu's votes come from? Do you think the North will bail Tinubu out this time again with 5.6m votes? Unless you're counting on Tinubu rigging out Obi in the South which is a possibility. The 2027 elections cannot be rigged in the North.
TravelRe: FG Approves ₦548.98 Billion To Demolish, Rebuild Carter Bridge In Lagos by AMINDA: 10:47pm On Apr 30
Lagos again. Nothing for the other South? This "turn of the South" is looking skewed o. Anyways, the other part of the South claims they are not desperate for the presidency and are succeeding without being president but their unborn children will not be exempted from paying these loans for projects that are sited in Lagos.
PoliticsRe: Supreme Court ruling: INEC restores David Mark-Led ADC leadership by AMINDA: 10:22pm On Apr 30
Them no dey telli person. Similar way they will have no option than to declare the ADC the winner of the 2027 election, with or against their will. Amupitan played his cards too early and ended up giving the opposition momentum. Now, his every move will be scrutinised, if at all he survives this.
PoliticsRe: Sam Anyanwu's Fate Uncertain After Supreme Court Ruling by AMINDA: 9:58pm On Apr 30
His fate is sealed, not uncertain. The PDP BOT and other governance bodies like the governors forum are currently meeting. Seyi is in charge!

PoliticsRe: Supreme Court Sets Up ADC- Sam Amadi by AMINDA: 9:44pm On Apr 30
franchasng:
You are wrong brother. Calm down and read the Supreme Court judgment, it's a complete set up of ADC.

Supreme Court smartly buried ADC today.

ADC cannot field candidate for 2027 Presidential election due to INEC timeline and time constraint.

Supreme Court referred the case back to Federal High Court.

Now FHC will need to fix a date for the hearing, and the possible outcome is nullification of David Mark led NWC.

Meanwhile with today's Supreme Court ruling, FHC ruling of yesterday asking INEC to stop recognizing David Mark led NWC of the ADC will take effect even as the same FHC nullified the David Mark led MWC convention, so can't you see the set up here?

ADC is gone bro
Okay, Harvey Spectre. I'm sure the ADC and her members will take their chances.
PoliticsRe: Nafiu Bala's House Not Set Ablaze — Police by AMINDA:
Cherrybae:
You lied. The Supreme Court affirmed yes that court has no jurisdiction to entertain internal party affairs. But made it clear that where a party violates it own Constitution, the courts has jurisdiction to entertain any matter.

In this case, ADC violated its own constitution and the Federal high court already ruled based on this asking INEC not to recognize David Mark led leadership.

Have you wondered why ADC has not released any statement since the judgement was given nor any of its top members.

The understand the judgement and strategizing for a plan B.

The people that matters are quiet. No word from them but online supporters buzz hyping here and there
Bring an evidence where the supreme court made any caveat or exception on the non-judisciable nature of Internal affairs of a party by the courts. Also, tell us the constitution that was not followed by the ADC. I'll wait. By the way, no court de-recognise the leadership of the David Mark. When did this happen? You are funny. Tell Tinubu to prepare for elections. Elections are won via the ballots in Nigeria, not through the courts.

Atiku and other ADC leaders are currently in the residence of Senator David Mark.

PoliticsRe: Supreme Court Sets Up ADC- Sam Amadi by AMINDA: 9:22pm On Apr 30
Sam Amadi is only saying this because Obi has probably set his mind on decamping out of the ADC before this verdict. He should feel free to do so already. Most of the Southeastern politicians with ambitions only want Obi to run solo so they can ride on his wave and win their own elections.

But the two factions are still going back to court as directed by supreme court
Yes, for an academic exercise. The Supreme Court still affirmed that courts have no jurisdiction over internal affairs of a party but it cannot give a ruling on a matter that is not yet before it.
PoliticsRe: Nafiu Bala's House Not Set Ablaze — Police by AMINDA: 9:15pm On Apr 30
We suspected it was fake news from the NURTW ticket officers to gain sympathy and dampen the momentum that the Supreme Court verdict has brought back to the Coalition.
PoliticsRe: 2027: Don’t Pull Down The Roof by AMINDA: 9:13pm On Apr 30
The forceful coronation being done under the guise of conscensus is threatening to shake the very foundations of the APC, hence this statement by Shettima. The implosion of APC is inevitable. Tinubu has shrunken the political space due to his own selfish ambition.
PoliticsRe: 'Struggle not over' - Atiku reacts to Supreme Court Judgement on ADC leadership by AMINDA:
Tinubu probably capitulated due to international scrutiny and pressure. The searchlights of the entire world were beamed on him. What is cast in stone is that Tinubu will have very formidable opposition come 2027 and that which he fears will happen.

Good to have you back Sir, Adolphus Wabara.

Now that Wike has been torn to shreds in PDP, the new PDP leadership should make sure that Wike and his gangs are sacked from the party so he can fully decamp to APC and his policial career, perish there.
Was Wike not already expelled along with Samuel Anyanwu and co? He stands expelled. He just wasn't mentioned at the Supreme Court because he wasn't a party to the case.

Both the Amala convention and the Arabian Tea convention were nullified. The suspension of Anyanwu and his co-travellers were also upheld. This now clears the path for the BOT headed by Adolphus Wabara and Babangida Aliyu to salvage the party. These are all Makinde's men.
