FarahAideed:The one-man tax committee with a budget of 5 billion naira was suspicious ab-initio. If Tinubu hadn't captured the National Assembly with money, this would be grounds for impeachment. |
No reason to panic. Tinubu will unilaterally write it off again like a monarch. |
seunmsg:Melembe melembe. The strategic silence of the coalition masters is sending your tin-god into a wild goose chase. The mathematics have long been solved and the graphs plotted. The worst case scenario has your tin-god coming a distant third! It may look like a pipedream for now but just watch as events unfold! |
seunmsg:This was you celebrating Tinubu/Kwankwaso ticket o. No worry. You will see permutations, you go fear. Even Tinubu quickly dropped Ganduje and sent emissaries to Kwankwaso when it looked like Jonathan/Kwankwaso will be a reality (don't write it off yet). More intrigues coming your way.
|
Tinubu has maradonically dribbled himself into a corner with this Wike and Fubara matter. Even the Agbado camp have been split into two. The saga is dampening Tinubu's campaign and reducing his momentum across Southern Nigeria and the North has long been settled. The guy is gone! |
Jayhome24:Yet, you are the one crying. Shouldn't you be jubilating that Tinubu has won? Peter Obi himself is the architect and founder of the coalition. He has also put money to fund its activities. He's going nowhere. Tinubu has no pathway to re-election. |
HacheNoire:Give it a rest. Your fear and trepidation is palpable. The three musketeers are about to unite to send your tin-god back to Iragbiji. |
kingbee90:It will be a tsunami. They don't know what's coming. The momentum will be so heavy that it will be clear that Tinubu has lost the election before the first ballot is cast, making rigging that Tinubu is banking on, a suicide mission. |
HacheNoire:Lol. Is that fear? You seem to confuse offering politicians money to decamp as a sign of popularity among the masses. The ADC continues to shore up its popularity in the South while APC is relying on politicians who's defections they had to induce with money. |
Thr mods need to be more diligent. The title of the thread does not align with the content of the thread. |
Why then the uproar about the infrastrural loans secured by Elrufai when it's Uba Sani who's receiving the bulk of the loans via draw downs while refusing to complete the projects they were secured for? He accused Elrufai of embezzling the loans but 3 years into his tenure, he's still receiving draw downs from the loan and even using them to fund a substantial part of his budget with no visble results. When is he going to apologise to his mentor? Uba Sani dropped the ball on the solid structure laid by his predecessor and Kaduna is now running on autopilot with the state government appearing to have surrendered to dirt and refuse dumps. Road-side markets now adorn every nook and cranny of the city. |
Ask anyone residing in Plateau, Muftwang has put himself into a tight spot defecting to APC. Just like Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom, it would be a miracle for him to return let alone deliver the state to Tinubu. The move is very unpopular amongst his erstwhile supporters and even the APC people are aggrieved as he has displaced other politicians and scuttled ambitions. It's all moody and gloomy on the Plateau. Without the backing of the likes of Jonah Jang that brought him into power, work done is equal to zero. |
MartinCorridon:If you have no threshold on how much you're willing to spend, and have no qualms using a country's common patrimony from taxpayers sweat, subsidy savings and loans to splurge on anyone, to the detriment of the country, I think you can give that false air of "dominance". But you can't buy love nor copy respect. |
seunmsg:Lol. We will all learn politics together. Don't come back in 2027 to say you were betrayed sha. The news article conspicuously left out the part where Kwankwaso said even with 36 governors, Tinubu will not win the election. That fact is clear as day but 250 billion naira is too good to pass up on. |
seunmsg:What's wrong with all the names you mentioned? They were in the APC in 2023 and Elrufai, especially was instrumental to Tinubu becoming president. He packaged Tinubu in the North and even bailed him out at Chatham house when Tinubu began to stutter in answering difficult questions. You will be back if Tinubu wins in 2027 (he won't) to betray and then vilify the newfound friends he's currently chasing. That's the nature of an average Agbadorian. That's what they call politics. |
erniok2:So says a Tinubu lackey. |
seunmsg:We are talking about Tinubu throwing allies who have helped him under the bus without any shame and you're going to the marketplace, shopping for false equivalence. This is more telling considering that Tinubu himself has used his media propaganda machinery to continue to perpetuate himself in power over the years by painting himself as the victim of betrayals. That mask is gradually falling off. The new allies he's seeking to attract will now learn to dine with him using a very long spoon. This is what stalled the Kwankwaso movement to APC. |
seunmsg:Why sign an agreement with Wike if you have no plans to follow through? He wasn't forced, was he? A man's words should be his bond, but obviously not Tinubu. How should Nigerians then trust him to keep to his campaign promises? Tinubu now has a reputation for leaving his allies at their most vulnerable points after getting what he wants. It's now clear that he was behind Fubura going rogue all this while. He was just pretending. He's also the one behind the crisis between Magnus Abe and Amaechi, Alia and Akume, Uba Sani and Elrufai, Abba Kabir and Kwankwaso, two emirs in Kano, etc. He engineers crisis between two parties and then attempts to benefit from both sides. |
He gave the order through Bayo Onanuga from France? |
Kano, a once peaceful state is now gradually turning into a bandit enclave. This is a fallout of the so-called non-kinetic approach alias peace deals/negotiations with bandits in Katsina and Kaduna. |
The use and dump merchants are beginning to show their hands. Wike will realise that he played himself with the destruction of PDP. Modified: Wike has responded. As far as this Fubara matter is concerned, Tinubu must fold! Video: Wike warns APC National Secretary, Ajibola Bashiru to steer clear of Rivers state.
|
The cracks are beginning to show. The APC primaries in Ekiti was a disgrace. In thr face of this persecutions and harassment, EKO might align with the opposition or stay behind and sabotage the APC. |
tunjijones:Yes. Which is why she had no use for Akpabio and Tinubu. Natasha will defeat Yahaya Bello again and have him laid out flat on the ground. He's merely contesting to whitewash his EFCC indictment, having pledged allegiance to Tinubu and getting the transactional man's "forgiveness". |
yemmit90:Thank God you admit that Tinubu will have no pathway to victory without rigging, even in the South. Not all governors will be willing to go against the will of their people and shed blood in order to rig Tinubu into power, which is why Tinubu will eventually settle for Wike. If governors are that powerful, how many states with APC governors did Tinubu win in 2023? Could it be that Sanwo-olu also worked against Tinubu which is why Tinubu failed to win Lagos? |
yemmit90:Well, that divisive style of politics will cost Tinubu this time because it has been overplayed. The much touted support by both Wike and Fubara is just window-dressing as they are both doing it just to curry federal favour. Deep down, the people of Rivers are still angry with Tinubu and only massive rigging can make him win the state with substantial votes. Ditching Fubara will also cost him huge political capital but it will be his only choice, given the circumstances. |
Bosman17:In other words, Tinubu didn't think twice before choosing a polarising ticket because he only cared about the votes. We have no problems with that. We only have a problem with his lackeys who are now attempting to play both sides by selling his muslim-muslim ticket as the Christian choice by demonising hausa/fulanis who brought them to power. Or those ones who display their hypocrisy by selling his muslim-muslim ticket as a "Southern agenda". |
GEJDHERO:The betrayal of either Fubara or Wike by Tinubu will have its own unique ripple effects across the region. Tinubi will have to weigh his options carefully before picking a side. But one thing is sure, he can't have both. |
lawani:Did anybody put a gun to your tin-god's head before he opted for muslim-muslim ticket? Even now, he has the option to choose a christian V.P but fear won't allow because he still craves that hausa/fulani muslim votes. Yet, his lackeys here on nairaland are attempting to play both sides by promising they will handover to a christian from the middlebelt. No be from clap dance dey start? |
Madugu is coming. Tinubu, finish what you started by conceding that V.P ticket now or have yourself to blame!
|
Combined, how many votes can the governors influence for Tinubu in the Southeast? They better secure that 250 billion naira fast now that Tinubu is desperate. He may soon wake up to reality and change his mind. |
Tinubu’s lackeys online are now crashing out and calling Kwankwaso a one state man in reaction to his "Fabrizo Romano" post. Here we go! We will all learn politics together!
|
Tinubu’s fate in the Southsouth will be sealed depending on how he handles the Wike-Fubara matter. He currently thinks he has both camps because Wike and Fubara appear to be supporting him but he would lose the support of one of the camps as soon as he picks a side. My money is on him to ditch Fubara because a desperate Wike with his back against the wall is a dangerous Wike. Tinubu would want none of that smoke. |
