Sheffield is okay. Try to stay close to the city centre as some employers (hustle jobs) do consider that. S1, S2, S3, S5, and some S10 have very good transport links to city centre.

Most part of sheffield are safe, Avoid areas where refugees stay e.g. Burngreave

For hustle jobs, you can apply to Amazon, Royal mail in sheffield, there are a lot of care jobs as well. You can search for teacheractive if you are interested in teaching jobs. The hospitality industry is also filled with jobs but covid might have knocked out a lot of positions.

Depending on your budget, you can find 2bedroom flat of £500 - £600 that's not to far from SHU.

Several master applications to 4 universities in Canada ( and dey chop my application fee lol) no admission. Finally as the last school said No in April, my eye clear lol, I decided to face UK.

I did my pre_CAS interview yesterday with Sheffield Hallam university, I guessed it went well because the interviewer said he was impressed but just pointed to two points and told me what I’m expected to say. He promised to send a positive feedback because he was impressed with my answers that I really made my research about the course and school but he said it depends on the international admissions to decided whether or not to issue the CAS.Finger crossed because I’m nervous..
