@POLITICSNGR The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has called on members of the National Assembly to apologise to Nigerians for their unruly behaviour during President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2019 budget presentation . The Public Relations Officer of NANS, Mr Azeez Adeyemi, made the call on Friday in Abeokuta. Adeyemi condemned the lawmakers’ behaviour, saying that it had further tarnished the external image of the country. He urged the lawmakers to always promote the integrity of the country, while according due respect to its leaders. He stressed that the legislators should jettison personal and political interests while treating matters of national interest. “Nigerian students believe that members of the National Assembly should be role models to Nigerian youths and students by displaying worthy and enviable character. “It is important to place respect for the honour and integrity of our dear country above any personal or political interests. “We, hereby, call on the leadership of the National Assembly to, as a matter of necessity, apologise to the entire people of Nigeria over the members’ unruly conduct during the president’s budget presentation,” he said. PoliticsNGR learned that the NANS spokesperson, nonetheless, urged the National Assembly members to scrutinise the 2019 appropriation bill before its passage so as to ensure the outcome was in the best interest of all Nigerians. https://politicsngr.com/apologize-nigerians-booing-president-buhari-nans-tells-national-assembly/ |

@POLITICSNGR Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Yakubu Dogara, has urged Muhammadu Buhari to immediately constitute the North East Development Commission (NEDC) so that the region can be developed and the people in the North East reintegrated. Speaking at constituency empowerment programme organized by Hon Binta Bello, Deputy Minority Whip in Kaltungo,Gombe State, the speaker also urged the electorate to vote for candidates that will work conscientiously towards their development and wellbeing. He also added that religious and tribal sentiments could becloud one’s ability to choose performing representatives if used as yardstick for voting. Hon Dogara noted that having learnt that the secret to having a performing representatives is to choose one who can work for the growth and progress of his or her people irrespective of tribe or religion, his constituents reelected him thrice as thus, positioned him for the position of the Speaker of the House of Representatives. He noted that as a result of that, not only has Bauchi State benefitted from his being Speaker, but even the entire North-East has witnessed it too, with the most notable achievement being the creation of the NEDC which he personally sponsored. The speaker said, “In my own constituency, there was a time that it was said that no member will ever be elected twice. It’s a constituency consisting of more than 10 tribes in three local governments areas and comprising of adherents of both faith; Christian and Muslim faith, almost in equal number. So, it is always very difficult in times of election, to escape all the traps. If you escape the trap of tribalism, you will face the trap of religious sentiments but I tell you, because I have done fairly well in my representation, the entire people, whether Christian or Muslim, have accepted the fact that what they know in the government of Nigeria is that seat of House of Representatives and so, when it comes to my election, they put religion aside, they put tribalism aside, they returned me three times and that is why today, I am the speaker of the House of Representatives and by that singular position, it is not only Bauchi State or my constituency that has benefitted, even the entirety of the North-East has benefitted from that position because I can tell you here that if we had not put our feet on the ground, there is no way we would have come up the North East Development Commission and it is on account of the commission that God answered our prayer, even though the commission has not been constituted by Mr President, we are again, today, calling in very strong voice that he should immediately constitute that commission so that we really develop and integrate our people in the North East.” PoliticsNGR gathered that he urged the people of Gombe South Senatorial district to vote for Hon Binta Bello, who he said has the yearnings of her people at heart and has been doing well in the National Assembly to the extent that she emerged as the deputy minority whip of the House of Representatives. https://politicsngr.com/constitute-north-east-development-commission-now-dogara-tells-buhari/ |
@POLITICSNGR President Muhammadu Buhari has reiterated his determination to ensure a level-playing field for all contestants into political offices in 2019 general elections, PoliticsNGR has gathered. The president said this when he received a delegation from International Republican and National Democratic Institute, United States of America, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Monday. The president said: “I am glad you are here to assess our pre-election preparations. It reminds me of the visit by the then Secretary of State, John Kerry, before the 2015 polls. We appreciate the concern of America for stability in developing countries. “Having run for president three times, ending up at the Supreme Court all three times, before God and technology made a way for me the fourth time, I know what it is to be cheated at the polls. “What they used to do was just to award votes, and tell anyone who was dissatisfied to go to court. But we won’t do that. “I am prepared to give the opposition the opportunities I was not given in the past.’’ President Buhari assured the visitors that he had told the heads of the security agencies not to be partisan, but to do their work professionally, and allow the will of the people to prevail. While stressing that the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) would keep faith with its priorities of securing the country, reviving the economy, and fighting corruption, the President said he was happy that the opposition had not been able to successfully fault the focal areas of the government. “We have done fairly well in the areas we focused on. We know how many local government areas in the North-east were under Boko Haram occupation before we came. “That does not happen again, save for cowardly attacks, using young girls as suicide bombers. “Other areas of security challenge like farmers/herdsmen clashes are receiving attention, and would be sorted out as much as possible,’’ he added. On the Electoral Bill that was not assented to, the President said: “Time is against us. We are extremely vulnerable, and need to be careful that messages are not hijacked and figures tampered with, while being transmitted electronically. “Even the Russians were accused of tampering with American election, so we will remain conventional and use electronic transmission in subsequent elections.’’ The Leader of the American delegation, Amb. Linda-Thomas Greenfield, said they had met with the media, civil society, and political parties and concerns expressed included fears of security agencies being partisan in the forthcoming elections and suspected non-commitment to free and fair elections by key stakeholders. She said they also cited the delayed budget for the electoral umpire, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and the non-signing of the new Electoral Bill. https://politicsngr.com/vulnerable-buhari-gives-reason-not-signing-electoral-bill/ |

I assure our new members that your coming in late will not in any way be of disadvantage,’’ he said. He pledged that the coalition would work hard to ensure that the coalition consensus candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wins the 2019 presidential election. https://politicsngr.com/breaking-9-political-parties-join-cupp-endorse-atiku/ |
@POLITICSNGR President Muhammadu Buhari, who marked his 76th birthday on Monday, jokingly `protested’ when a reporter mistakenly reduced his age by one year, PoliticsNGR has learned. “Why would you reduce my age by one?,’’ the President Buhari `queried’ the reporter when he fielded questions in both English and Hausa languages from State House correspondents after a brief ceremony at the forecourt of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Monday. The president called on Nigerians to continue to pray for him and the country at large, charging them to continue to show more understanding of his administration’s policies aimed at transforming the nation. He stated that the government would continue to remind Nigerians of its achievements in the last three and half years. “We will keep reminding Nigerians about what we have done, how we met the country, what we have been able to do for the time came in to now with the resources available to us,’’ he said The ceremony began with a special rendition that ushered the president into the forecourt where Special Parade was mounted by the Guards Brigade. This was then followed by a special performance by the silent drill squad of the Guards Brigade, which included the formation of words like PMB @ 76 The event also witnessed special display by the Guards Brigade Band, wishing the president “Happy Birthday’’ with their musical gadgets. Highlight of the event was the presentation of Birthday Cards to the celebrant. The Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali presented Birthday card on behalf of the country’s Armed Force, while the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, presented on behalf of members of cabinet. The Chief of Staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari presented a card on behalf of Presidential aides and the Guards Brigade also made a special presentation. @POLITICSNGR A police officer is facing severe criticisms online for shooting a Bus Passenger on the leg. PoliticsNGR gathered from an eyewitness, Mike Godwin, the incident occurred on the Popular East-West road around Rumuge area. The police officer stopped the bus and demanded for a tinted permit. The driver unfortunately did not have it on him and the officer halted the vehicle. The victim decided to talk with the officer and demand an explanation for the stoppage before he was shot on the leg. Godwin wrote; "This happened on my way for Lagos yesterday on east west road by Rumuge, A police man stopped our bus asking for drivers license from our driver which he gave him after that , he requested for tinted permit then the driver told him that the car is a company car and that the copy of the permit was not with him. We all came down pleading with him to let us go, but he bluntly refused. On seeing us another of same company bus stoped to ask his colleague what the issue was along side with some passengers the next thing was that the police man opened fire on the leg of this young man who was also presumed to be a force man just because he demanded an explanation on why we were unjustly delayed. Am yet to recover from the shock can't believe that the people that are meant to protect lives and properties, can just open fire and shot at a live that they are to protect. Pls share let those in authority see it." Watch the Video HERE https://politicsngr.com/tinted-permit-policeman-shoots-passenger-demanding-explanation/

@POLITICSNGR Below is a statement from the ruling All progressives Congress, APC made available to PoliticsNGR, signed by its publicity secretary, Lanre Issa-Onilu; "It is obvious that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alh. Atiku Abubakar tried to avoid signing the national peace accord ahead of the country’s 2019 General Elections. To all discerning Nigerians, the PDP and Atiku’s dubious claim of a “communication lapse” as reason for their no-show at Tuesday’s formal signing ceremony is hogwash, as the peace committee duly and formally invited the PDP and Atiku like other candidates and political parties contesting the 2019 Elections. Atiku’s eventual decision to sign the peace deal is clearly a face-saving move following widespread condemnation that greeted his initial refusal to agree to the peace deal. We, however, must not lose sight of the dangerous and ominous signs the PDP and Atiku have inadvertently shown Nigerians in the leadup to the elections. Again, this brings to the fore, PDP's open declaration in August this year that the Party will deploy all “means, schemes, shenanigans in all ramification and magnitude” to manipulate the 2019 election. The APC reiterates that security and other relevant agencies must be on high alert to check this dangerous threat posed by the PDP’s planned actions for the general elections. In 2019 and beyond, the votes of the electorate must count and the will of the electorate must prevail. We must stand against and resist plans by retrogressive elements who are now nested in the PDP and their agents to disrupt elections through violence and other undemocratic practices. For signing the 2019 election national peace accord, the Party affirms the commitment of the President Muhammadu Buhari led APC government to a free and fair electoral process. The APC government has an abiding pledge towards a participatory, peaceful, credible and transparent elections. https://politicsngr.com/apc-react-atikus-signature-peace-accord/

The Nigerian Army has issued a statement reacting to a recent accusation of War Crimes levelled against it reportedly by the International Criminal Court, ICC. Below is a full statement made available to PoliticsNGR signed by the Director of Army Public Relations, Sani Kusheka; "The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to a front page news story of Daily Independent newspaper of today, Tuesday 11th December 2018, with the headline “NIGERIAN ARMY IS GUILTY OF WAR CRIMES -ICC”, written by one Austin Oboh. According to the paper, “The International Criminal Court (ICC) has ruled that Nigerian army is guilty of war crimes against humanity.” This is not true. The Nigerian Army has not been accused of any wrong doing let alone being arraigned before any court. It is therefore wrong and sheer mischief for any person, group or newspaper to allege that the Nigerian Army has been found guilty of war crimes. For the avoidance of doubt, yesterday, Monday 10th December 2018, the Office of the Prosecutor (OTP) of the International Criminal Court (ICC) presented the 2018 Report of her activities. Nowhere in the 78 page report titled “Report of Preliminary Examination Activities 2018” dated 5th December 2018, did she state that the Nigerian Army is guilty of any crime let alone war crimes as the newspaper alleged.Although it is true that the OTP is currently investigating allegations of human rights violations made against the Nigerian Army, that investigation is still at its preliminary stages and does not translate to standing trial, let alone being found guilty. The Nigerian Army is aware that the office of the OTP has requested for additional information from the Federal Ministry of Justice to enable it determine appropriate steps on how to proceed with the matter. It therefore follows logically that a matter that has not been fully investigated cannot be subject of a final pronouncement by the ICC. Please note that the Nigerian Army has been consistent in cooperating with the Federal Ministry of Justice, National Human Rights Commission and the several human rights investigative bodies established by the Presidency to review its human rights footprints specifically in the areas of operations including but not limited to the North East Zone. Yesterday, Monday 10th December 2018 in commemoration of the International Human Rights Day, the Chief of Army Staff issued a statement affirming the commitment of the Nigerian Army to the promotion and protection of Human Rights. In which he said that “the Nigerian Army firmly believes that the promotion and protection of human rights are an essential component of our military operations. We firmly embrace the idea and the message behind the International Human Rights Day and we are committed to doing our part to spread awareness and support for human rights every day”. We are dismayed by the recklessness of the said newspaper in publishing such a sensationally false story and giving it undue prominence. A simple research on the website of the International Criminal Court would have provided clarity on the issue. We urge journalists and editors to consider the national security implications of this type of publications. Our nation’s security should not be jeopardised by the desire to sell publications or cause mischief. It is our hope that the Daily Independent newspaper will properly inform itself on the inaccuracy of its story by setting the records straight and apologise to the Nigerian Army." https://politicsngr.com/nigerian-army-reacts-icc-accusation-war-crimes/ |

@POLITICSNGR Nigeria's minister for Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has said that President Muhammadu Buhari will roundly defeat the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 general Elections. PoliticsNGR learned that the minister made this comment on Monday while briefing newsmen on current developments in the nation. He also reacted to the recent rejection of the Electoral Amendment bill by President Buhari, advising Nigerians to accept the reasons the President gave for his decision. He further stated that despite the support of Ex-President, Olusegun Obasanjo, Atiku would be 'roundly and comprehensively' defeated. He said; “With due respect to Obasanjo, it is his fundamental right to support any candidate of his choice and we hereby encourage and urge him to go all out and campaign vigorously for Atiku Abubakar and we wish him the best of luck in his choice and political pursuit. But we assure him that his candidate will be roundly and comprehensively defeated by Buhari. We want to place it on record that the Buhari government has done the best for this country in virtually all facets of governance and for this reason, we believe strongly that we have enough achievements to flaunt and win the forthcoming election with ease. We have it on record that the opposition is already jittery of Buhari’s imminent victory and has consequently resorted to using fake news to blackmail the president and our party in order to give excuse for the looming defeat." https://politicsngr.com/just-lai-mohammed-reveals-buhari-will-roundly-defeat-atiku-2019/

@POLITICSNGR Spokesman of the Atiku Campaign Organization, Segun Sowunmi has announced his intentions to contest for the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency Seat in the House of Representatives in 2019. In a statement on his Social Media page, Sowunmi wrote; "Dear Friends I cannot continue to sit on the fringes nudging them in the right directions, agonising at the dismal level of their performance, wondering if this is the best that nature will allow for our country Nigeria. I have therefore presented myself, your friend and colleague, Segun Showunmi for House of Representatives of Abeokuta South Federal Constituency in the 2019 elections.under the PDP. Please support me. Previously i always thought that the challenge in our nations strive for greatness was the executive, i have become persuaded that indeed in a democracy the legislators have a larger share of the duty to focus the nation in the right direction, for if our legislators played less politics perhaps we can experience a better oversight activities that will berth the Nigeria of our dream. Below is Press statement made available to PoliticsNGR from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC clarifying the purpose for the raid on an apartment occupied by Atiku Abubakar's sons; The recent arrest of Ogbonna Orji, son of Sen. Theodore Orji, over money laundering, has absolutely nothing to do with son of ex-VP Atiku Abubakar. The former Abia governor has been under investigations by the EFCC, for money laundering activities, which was discovered to have been carried out through his sons. The EFCC had been on the trail of cars allegedly bought by the sons, and last Friday the cars were traced to a night club in Abuja, where operatives waited patiently through the night to arrest the owners - Ogbonna and his friend, Kelvin Ilonah. They were arrested at about 5am on Saturday, and they led operatives to their three-flat apartment, where documents retrieved showed that it was rented at a rate of N13million per annum. They have so far given useful information to the EFCC, which is aiding in investigations. It should be made clear that the EFCC never "went after" Atiku's sons, neither was Atiku's son arrested by the EFCC. https://politicsngr.com/breaking-raided-atikus-sons-apartment-efcc/ |
@POLITICSNGR Ovation Magazine publisher, Dele Momodu has expressed sympathy for President Muhammadu describing him as a man 'in a cage'. PoliticsNGR gathered that Momodu made this statement via twitter in reaction to recent comments by the First lady, Aisha Buhari, that the country was being controlled. She urged Nigerians to stand up and oppose these two men controlling her husband's government. She said; “If 15.4 million people can bring in a government and only for the government to be dominated by two people or three people, where are the men of Nigeria? Where are the Nigerian men? What are you doing? Instead of them to come together and fight them, they keep visiting them one after the other licking their shoes (I’m sorry to use those words),” . She alleged that the government of her husband had been hijacked. Responding to this, Momodu's tweets read; “I like BUHARI as a simple, humorous personality but his leadership style leaves much to be desired and his cabal won’t let the competent people around him function. “His wife has cried out endlessly… I weep for the man in the gilded cage. I wished he could liberate himself!” https://politicsngr.com/2019-buhari-cage-wife-cried-endlessly-dele-momodu/

@POLITICSNGR Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has revealed 6 'facts' to prove that President Muhammadu Buhari has been 'replaced' by an impostor known as 'Jubril Aminu Alsudani'. PoliticsNGR gathered that in a broadcast from Israel on Saturday, Kanu said; "In the past few days, the Presidency of Nigeria has worked very hard to put a spin on the credible revelations that the man passing off as President of Nigeria is not Buhari but a Jubril from Sudan. The spin runs like this: That Buhari does not have a ‘clone’ or that Jubril is not Buhari’s clone or that Buhari has not been biologically cloned. Even ‘Jubril’ himself, during his current trip to Poland, claimed that he is the ‘real’ Buhari, not a ‘clone’. The standard qualification to becoming a successful body double or impersonator is close resemblance to the person being impersonated. In other words, the political decoy is an individual who has been selected because of strong physical resemblance to the person being impersonated. This resemblance can be strengthened by plastic surgery. Often, such decoys are also trained to speak and behave like the person being impersonated. It has happened before in history, most notably with Josef Stalin of defunct Soviet Union and Adolf Hitler of Germany. There were many others, especially during the Second World War and the subsequent Cold War, when it was very rampant with spies and espionage. In this very case of late Buhari, Jibril is NOT a biological clone but a body-double, another human being, an impersonator from Sudan, who resembles Buhari, then underwent a few plastic surgeries to make the resemblance closer and got coached to speak and act like the real Buhari. What they never reckoned with is that there are no two individuals that look exactly alike, except for identical twins, even so to a less than absolute degree. So, even as Mr Jibril looks like late Buhari and did some few fixes to enhance the resemblance, there are still a few give-always that, to a discerning eye, differentiated the two men. First, Buhari was about 75 years when he assumed the presidency in 2015. He looked very much his age, and appeared noticeably frail shriveled due to the ravaging ailments that eventually saw to his demise. On the other hand, Jibril is about 50 years old and it shows in his gait, his vibrancy, and the smoother tone of his face and skin. There’s also the slight difference earlobes between the two men. Second, Buhari had noticeably receding hairline on the front crown and the rest of what was left of his hair was brittle; and then towards the tail end of his life, the hair became very scanty and snow white. All these can be verified from his photographs taken during the electioneering campaigns, at the time he was sworn and during his long illness. This contrasts sharply with Mr Jibril, who appears to have fuller mane of hair, much darker hairlines, and now permanently spots a cap that he has refused to remove despite repeatedly being dared to do so. Third and perhaps most importantly, the late Buhari was of Fulani full blood and he spoke fluent Fulfude – the native tongue of the Fulanis. He also spoke Hausa. Now, this Jibril does not speak Fulfude but speaks Hausa only, which is why he strains to speak Hausa as a diversion each time he is challenged to speak Fulfude. One then wonders why Jibril, claiming to be the real Buhari in Poland, did not speak some Fulfude or even go as far as removing his cap. Fourth, since February last year, one notices a profound distance when in public between Jibril and Buhari’s family members, especially Buhari’s wife, Aisha and son Yusuf. Whereas, Aisha appears to be studiedly aloof from Jibril, Yusuf was photographed awkwardly shaking Jibril’s hand after he returned from his long stay at a German hospital, where he had been admitted and treated for injuries stemming from his bike accident. Fifth, Buhari was a very tall person, noticeably taller than other equally tall public officials such Senate President Saraki, who now appears taller than the man claiming to be Buhari. How come? It was Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information who tried to explain this by claiming that Buhari used to wear high-heeled shoes, which he now no longer wears on the advice of his doctor, thus making him appear shorter. Is that plausible? Sixth, since his ‘acclaimed’ recovery from his debilitating ailments and discharge from the London Hospital, the man that claims to be Buhari has not been traveling to London for mandatory follow-ups. Is it medically possible that someone who was ravaged to the point of looking skeletal and underwent complex surgeries would suddenly heal to the point that he no longer needed clinical follow-ups? Plus, when this Jibril story persisted in the wake of his US visit with President Trump, his handlers tried to defuse it by orchestrating a medical check-up stopover in London. If such check-ups are real, why isn’t this being done on a regular basis since his so-called recovery. So, there you have it – Jibril from Sudan is not a biological clone of Buhari but a completely different fellow impersonating the real but late Buhari on the dummy that he’s a look-alike who underwent some cosmetic fixes that appear to have convinced many that he’s Buhari. Still, the truth is that Jibril neither the Buhari nor his clone.” https://politicsngr.com/just-6-facts-prove-buhari-replaced-jubrin-nnamdi-kanu/

@POLITICSNGR Chairman of the economic and financial crimes commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu has revealed why the agency has failed to arrest former minister of Petroleum resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke. PoliticsNGR learned that Magu, during a media chat on Wednesday in Abuja, disclosed that Foreign law enforcement agencies were protecting Madueke. He said; “I need less than 72 hours to produce Diezani but how can I get her ? She is being protected by other law enforcement agencies outside this country . This is our predicament . If she were here , I would have arrested her .” The barrier is that other law enforcement agencies are involved in the matter. You know she is in the UK and we are making preparations to get her . We have already gone to court and this was part of the process of extradition ; that is the court should declare that a warrant of arrest be issued against her and that we produce her within 72 hours.” He added that if Diezani had been in Nigeria, he would have arrested the former oil minister in less than an hour . He further disclosed that major law enforcement agencies all around the world have been alerted and iformed that Diezani was a person of interest. However, Magu pointed out that more than 80 percent of looted funds were hanging outside the country. In his words; “More than 80 per cent of the loot outside the country is still hanging. Ask them why it is so difficult to repatriate these funds when it has been established that this money came from Nigeria and you know that this person does not own this money . There is no justification . It is not a small amount of money . We have over $300 m hanging in the Jersey Island, a UK foreign territory.” https://politicsngr.com/just-efcc-boss-magu-finally-reveals-protecting-diezani-arrest/

@POLITICSNGR Oil marketers have issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Federal Government (FG) threatening to embark on a strike and shut down all depots across the country if their outstanding debts totalling N800 billion in subsidies, are not paid. In a press statement issued on Wednesday, 5th December, 2018, the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) appealed to both the oil marketers and FG to iron out their differences in order to avoid fuel scarcity during this yuletide. According to the director of MURIC who signed the statement, Professor Ishaq Akintola, “Yuletide is a sensitive period. This is the time most Nigerians choose to travel to their cities and villages in order to cement family ties. It is not the right time to allow fuel scarcity. “We appeal to FG to do everything within its power to ensure that oil marketers do not carry out their threat. Unlike in the past, this administration has been able to ensure smooth supply of fuel. There have been no queues in petrol stations across the country. We appreciate this feat. But we are saying it should not be allowed to happen. Fuel scarcity causes lots of inconvenience for ordinary Nigerians”. MURIC said it issued a warning about the likelihood of an attempt to cause artificial fuel scarcity towards the end of the year. “We warned about this in our press release dated 29th October, 2018 “Our exact words on that occasion were, ‘November is just three days away today and these agents of darkness must be somewhere now plotting to disrupt the smooth flow of supply and distribution. Their main objective is to discredit the government of the day particularly now that the 2019 election is just a stone’s throw away. It is therefore necessary for FG to watch out from now on. Another attempt may be made to cause artificial fuel scarcity. Those behind the move do not care about the common man. They do not care about hundreds of citizens who will be stranded on the roads as a result of fuel scarcity or the average Nigerian car owner who will be compelled to spend hours at fuel stations’. We therefore appeal to FG to avert another fuel scarcity particularly in the interest of ordinary Nigerians who may be caught in the crossfire as transport fares are most likely to skyrocket. https://politicsngr.com/yuletide-pay-n800-billion-subsidy-now-avoid-fuel-scarcity-muric-warns-fg/

@POLITICSNGR The Leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has replied the Federal government that he never said that President Buhari was 'cloned'. PoliticsNGR learned that he said that he has always maintained that President Buhari is 'dead' and was replaced by another individual allegedly from Sudan called 'Jubril Aminu Al-sudani' as a 'double'. He made this clarification during the weekend in a two-and-half hour worldwide radio broadcast from Israel. He described the use of the word 'cloning' ass a diversionary tactic; “We are going to dismantle the lies of Lai Mohammed and his brother (Senator Ajayi Borroffice), who claims he holds a doctorate degree in genetics and said nobody can clone a 75-yr-old. Lai Mohammed re-echoed that sentiment. If you’re not intelligent enough, you will think that Nnamdi Kanu said Buhari was cloned into Jubril (a Sudanese). That was not what I said. I said Jubril is an impostor. They (the cabal) brought him in to act and behave like the ‘dead’ Buhari. I never said he was cloned. The introduction of cloning into the narrative was a ploy to confuse the people. “I am very grateful that the Sudanese government are doing something about this by investigating the matter. It must be mentioned that the mastermind of the fraud of Jibril is Abba Kyari. Has anyone seen him recently?” He also took to twitter this morning to state; "I said Jubril is an impostor, not a clone. Fulani cabal should stop their dirty diversionary tactics. You need not be an Einstein or a native doctor to know the man in Poland is not Buhari. All you need is common sense, ability to reason and a functioning eyesight." https://politicsngr.com/breaking-buhari-not-cloned-nnamdi-kanu-reacts-presidents-speech/
