I submitted my application which was denied due to accommodation and school fee balance according to ODN. I have a plan to pay school fee balance from my bank savings (POF) and present an investment certificate to close gap of POF balance and accomodation.

Wont this affects me, considering my first application which has sufficient savings as POF.

But from what you mentioned, your cousin needs a lot more to qualify for PR. The best option may be to learn French.

Your cousin’s 438 CRS points are very low, and a Chemical Analyst does not qualify under the healthcare category.

From what I’ve gathered, one of the main reasons some people use agents is because they don’t have the required POF and want the agent to provide fake documents. I learn something new every day... paying someone in the bank to give you POF in your account. As I’ve said before, you’re basically playing Russian roulette with your future.

All these Facebook agents use the same documents for 1,000 different people. When IRCC starts seeing a pattern, they start asking questions.

Ask yourself this question: Do you really think that fake POF or fake document your agent is using for you is being created only for you?

No, it isn’t. IRCC is very good at keeping records, and those records can come up in the future.

You may think you’re getting away with it today, but that Fake document will come back to haunt your application years later.

You are lucky to see this at this stage, if that visa was approved IRCC will caught it at PR stage for misrepresentation,If you apply for permanent residence.

Remember, she will also need to show how she made that money. A bank statement alone is not enough.

She needs documents that can properly explain and link the funds to her account for example, employment income, business income, sale of property, investments, or whatever the actual source of the money is

The money needs to be traceable and the source should make sense based on her financial situation

She should be able to demonstrate that she has enough income to support you without putting herself in financial difficulty.

If possible, she can also pay your acceptance fee directly from her own account. it demonstrate that she is genuinely committed to sponsoring you and that the funds are actually available to her.. then point that out when applying

Exactly i find their refusal genuine, my agent is a small guy who to me is not expert, imagine refused on 18th he was telling me 5 days after, i told him to make the lump sum explanations comes explainable from my sponsor (father) but i think they were not convinced,
1- the total tuition is around 14k ,1k deposit was paid to get PAL
2- 2 years program
3- yes traveling alone
4- he asked for my sponsors bank info and he did the pof with the help of his bkr friend
5-he didn’t show me,first refusal own was 69m he suggested second reapplication own should be lower so lets say 50m to that range
6- from his bkr friends who helps with pof like this
7-we used my daddy business as the generator, with invoices attached,and cac documents,seems they’re not convinced with that

So, if you use my earlier formula for minimum POF $27,068 for tuition + $23,448 for living expenses for one person + $5,000 for miscellaneous expenses you are looking at roughly $55,000 to $60,000 CAD in total and thats minimum

Please avoid the arrangement where your Facebook agent uses his bank friend to deposit POF into your dad’s business account. You are playing Russian roulette with your future.

As I said, it is not just about depositing money into an account and showing a balance. You need to provide documents that can trace where the money came from,just giving IRCC invoices, CAC documents is not enought...

Let me give you a practical example.

If your father’s business is importation, you need to show IRCC how the business actually works and where the money is coming from. You cannot just dump 50m, 70m or 100m into an account and expect IRCC to believe that the money came from the business.

For example, if you import goods, show the complete trail:

Wire transfer receipt showing the money you sent to your foreign supplier
Commercial invoice from the supplier
Supplier quotation
Bill of Lading or Air Waybill
Foreign shipping/freight invoice
Form M
Nigerian Customs documentation when the goods arrive
Customs release documentation
Customs exit pass/release order
Bank statements showing the actual payments
Any other document that connects the money paid, the supplier, the shipment and the business and sales of good

Everything needs to connect. you need to show at least 3 years paper work of all this showing a proper paper trail.

And please, don't show IRCC documents for only 3 or 6 months and expect them to believe that a business has been running for years. If the business has genuinely been operating for 3 years, show evidence from those 3 years or more.

See, my family is into importation of electronics and also imports some raw materials for our family factory. This was something I had to learn the hard way back in 2015/2016

IRCC no dey look only at the money. They want to know where the money came from. You have to remove doubt from the officer's mind.

If you are claiming that your father's business generated the money being used as proof of funds, then the business should have documents to support that claim.

The money should not just magically appear in the bank account. If your father's business cannot reasonably be traced to generating the funds being shown in the account, IRCC will question the source of funds, and that can lead to another refusal.

This is why I always tell people Don't just show money. Show the story behind the money. The business, invoices, payments, imports, Customs documents, bank transactions and income should all tell the same story.

Dropping this here for anyone who might be overwhelmed with researching which school to apply to and where to even start looking.

This is just a list of universities for now. If I find a good list of colleges, I’ll share that too.

But please, don’t choose a school simply because everyone is talking about it. Do your own research.
