This was the post I made about Giroud when he signed for Chelsea in 2018, I highlighted his strengths and how he will contribute to the success of the club. https://www.nairaland.com/4323138/why-olivier-giroud-good-signing |
blueAgent:I can assure you that when it comes to analyzing football in real world you and the person you quoted aren't good enough to lace my boots. Stick to chanting up whatever because you are sounding like an ignoramous. |
Antonio Conte: "The xG is more fundamental than possession statistics, because you can keep the ball as long as you like, but if you don’t create chances, don’t shoot and don’t score, you won’t win." — Vince™ (@Blue_Footy) |
Ibime:Oga I agree with you on this, without a good structure a team full of world class talents will lose to a team with a better structure. An example of this was Lyon vs ManCity in 2020, and France vs Switzerland in this Euro. |
“There are coaches in the history of the club who cannot be compared to anyone. Here we are talking about [former Roma bosses Nils] Liedholm or [Fabio] Capello, don’t compare them. At Inter don’t compare anyone to me or Herrera: you can’t.” Jose Mourinho |
Havertz10:There is nothing wrong in having plenty children, the problem lies in training them to become a productive and responsible members of the society. Population is a sign of strength when properly utilize, you will have options to choose from when it comes to different professions and a ready market to sell to when you produce goods and services. |
Trevor012:Keep exposing the intellectual fraud for people to see. |
izzou:I support Nigeria and Germany in international football but that doesn't mean I would dislike English players in Chelsea. I would even advocate for more English players in the team so long they're good enough to form the spine of the team just like how Spanish players form the core of Barca back then. |
Unlimited22:He was solid defensively، he didn't contribute offensively as he's done in previous games. |
Al-Imām ibn al-Qayyim [may Allāh have mercy on him] said: “Some of the Pious Predecessors and Successors said: ‘Mankind seeks honour through the doors of the kings, but [fail to understand they] will never find it except in the obedience of Allāh.’” Ighāthat ul-Lahfān, 1/48 | Al-Imām ibn al-Qayyim [may Allāh have mercy on him] Translation: Authentic Quotes |

User09:Me too. He may well lack athleticism and physicality but his spatial awareness is top notch. |
Al-Imām ibn al-Qayyim [may Allāh have mercy on him] said: “Swallow patience, for if it kills you, then you shall die a martyr, and if it spares you, then it will restore you to a condition, characteristic of possessing, a great, impressive power and strength.” Madārij as-Sālikeen, 2/159 | Al-Imām ibn al-Qayyim [may Allāh have mercy on him] Translation: Authentic Quotes |
A dose of science and philosophy will get some people intoxicated while a deep understanding of it will cure the sickness, science can only explain that which is linear but as for the complex things like the origin of creation science is insufficient. |
“When I started dealing with Chelsea [Jorginho] was signing with City, we were able to intervene and bring him to Chelsea. They struggled, fans and journalists, to understand this boy’s game. Then he exploded in popularity also in England, now I have seen that he’s been made [vice-]captain. He deserves it.” “If he wins the European Championship too, it is clear that he would become [a candidate for the Ballon d’Or]. He is a refined player, probably not understandable by everyone. You have to put your eyes on him and only watch him in the game. He is so good and intelligent that he makes everything seem easy, rarely do you. something spectacular remains in the eye. This is its greatness.” “In my opinion Jorginho is more suitable for [a midfield] three than two, he is very intelligent and adapts to everything. Kantè is monstrous, at very high speed he makes 3.5 km while the average is 2.2. He recovers a thousand balls, he can play two or three.” -Maurizio Sarri Source: Football Italia |
Jinns are in existence some of them are righteous and some of them are evil, the righteous ones don't harm people while the evil ones are responsible for different atrocities. There are several verses and Prophetic narrations pointing to their existence and whosoever disbelieve in the existence of jinns should have his testimony of faith checked becauses it implies he/she has disbelieved in the verses of his Lord. From the atrocities caused by evil jinns is separation between a man and his wife, possessing the body and mind of humans, telling lies to fortune telling. |
“Jorginho has proved to be a crucial player for Italy. He has important qualities, he likes to keep the ball in his feet and control the game. If we limit his involvement, we’ll have more chances to qualify for the Final.” -César Azpilicueta |
BlueAngel444:Because you don't understand a concept. He is not the ideal player for the style of play but he is the closest to the ideal fit, so to compensate for his deficiency he is paired along with dynamic midfielders. |
The energy and dynamism of Barella, Veratti and Locatelli have helped in masking the deficiency of Jorginho plus Insigne, this has aided him and the team as their play is pleasing to watch. I mentioned that a coach job is to tailor his team to suit the characteristics of the players at his disposal and Mancini have been doing a fantastic job in this regard. |
DumaEmpire:He may look frail but he's strong with his back to goal, adding to the fact that he's got a quick feet. |
You were asked a simple question that requires a straightforward answer, you went about bringing another discussion so much about intellectual dishonesty. |
Havertz10:The Treaty of Versailles and other punitive measures imposed on Germany after their defeat in WWI were the pretext for WWII, anything other than this is just a spice to the the main ingredients |
England tried in their encounter with Germany kudos to Southgate and his players for a convincing win. As for Germany they need to do away with the old guards and use the young players if they're to succeed come Qatar 2022. They have been a shadow of their former selves and this isn't help by the fact that Low wasn't ready to take the hard decision in critical moments. England will go a long way if they don't drop their heads in the subsequent games because it was team spirit and technical brilliance that pushed them through. |
Patrick Schick shouldn't Chelsea be looking at him if Dortmund are playing a hard ball on Haaland? The guy is tall, can link up play, a good shooter, deceptively fast and strong. |
Capaldi:
|
Deschamps just proved what his critics have always said about him that he's not a good tactician that his world cup win was more of a fluke than tactical brilliance. Towards the end of the game I had expected him to sub in Tolisso if fit or any midfielder who can control the midfield for either of Benzema or Mbappe and Griezmann for Giroud, but he opted for Sissoko as his go to man. France lost not for lack of technical brilliance but for lack of tactical discipline, each Swiss attack through the flank upsets the their backline. As for Mbappe he should slow things down and work on his decision making because this has become a problem for him in recent times. Kudos to the Swiss coach and the players for taking the game to France without fear and trepidation, he proved that with a good tactician you can make something out of average and below average players. |
Leyqute:Sorry for the poor punctuation. So you eat human parts for protein where you come from? We don't do that where I come from. |
iamoyindamola:No mind me. |
