Havertz10:Sometimes you act like someone suffering from obsessive personality disorder, you just write things without giving it to second thought. So because I did not post Havertz stats means that I'm biased against him? I support players playing for the club and criticize them constructively unlike you that's agenda driven that'll will say and imply negative things about players you dont fancy even when their performance is good. I can bet you that you dont like Havertz and rate him higher than I do but Im not stupid to be posting always when I have something worthwhile to do. Since the Twitter ban I have not accessed the platform even though I could have done so via VPN, but I chose not to do so out of principle and that's where I do get some of those information I post here. |
I don't see Belgium going all the way to win it with the way they're playing currently there are visible cracks that a team like Portugal, Croatia, Denmark, Germany and spain will exploit, they dont have midfield controller and their center backs are slow, add to the the fact that they're playing wingers as wingbacks. I see France, Portugal and to some extent Italy and Germany making it to the semis. Croatia would've been in the miss but they're missing Mandzukic and Rakitic. England are not playing convincingly and heading to the knockout rounds without a cohesive unit will prove disastrous for them, they should drop Rice for Philips, get Henderson involved, Sancho or Saka should start henceforth. Germany should start Goretzka alongside Kroos to provide defensive cover and goal threat from midfield, Hummels need a rest let Sule replace him to provide that height and awareness needed at the back, Musiala should be the first name on the substitute list henceforth that boy changed things when he came on for the last minutes, Havertz should add grit to his game and he will be more impactful |
Havertz10:I remember Ozil Humiliating Brazil, Argentina and England in two World Cup Finals in the knockout rounds and almost assisting Arsenal to league title if not for the uselessness of the club. |
One ended up retiring in a farmers league while the other retired at Real after guiding his team to a 2nd place in FIFA World Cup |
Pau Torres look solid despite his frail stature in the games I watched him play. What do you think of him Unlimited22, Ibime, Havertz10 |

popizaino:The quality of the coaches is better in Germany than England. |
Havertz movement unsettling Portugal backline but he was culpable for Ronaldo's goal by not tracking his run to impede his movement. Bruno is interested in scoring goals than organising play in the midfield clogging the attacking third while leaving midfield duties to Danilo and Carvalho who are not ball playing midfielders. |
Deschamps is tactically clueless when he meets team that sit dip and his best best should've been to throw in Giroud from the start who will help to hold up the ball and bring others into play but he opted for a different line up which cost them the game. They were fortunate against Germany but they weren't against the Hungarians who were no slouch either ,forget the fact that the Hungarians have no standout player in their ranks but as a team they're cohesive. |

A..irmark would've been world class if not for injuries, Raumdeuter is world class in amalanomics, Ibime was world class in dept. football, Havertz10 is world class in hating on Mount, Donstan is world class in hating on Havertz |
OladiTwo5:I saw it elsewhere and decided to share it here. |
Ibime:The acute short of classic CFs in this modern era is worrying, to get a decent striker you need to pay over the odds and you will still worry about whether he will be a system fit. What do you think is responsible for the lack of quality CFs in the modern era because back then you have them in abundance? |
patrickmuf:Daniel Alves that Mourinho wanted at Chelsea before he settled for Belletti, all these savage wannabes keep exposing their shallow knowledge of the game. The same who talked down about Tuchel before he was signed only to start doing about turn later, it is not a must to comment on issues you have little to no knowledge about but those with verbal diarrhea dont know this |
Ibime:Will you mind us going for Depay? He has got pace, trickery, good shot but his attitude is something that makes me skeptical about him. |
Havertz10:With the number of games coming up next season it is important to have two solid players for a position to compete favourably with the best in the league and Europe, Hakimi signing should serve as a motivation for James to improve his level just like how Ballack and Shevchenko drove Lampard and Drogba to new heights. I want a dominant Chelsea not one filled with deadwoods and ambitiousless players. Chelsea is 3 signings away from being that dominant force of early to late 2000s |
Havertz10:I just checked he will be 29 by August. |
Havertz10:Take a look at Wout Weghorst of Holland and Wolfsburg he is tall and strong, good at link-up play, a decent finisher but lacks pace. Also, I don't know how old is he but he will get you goals. |

BlueAngel444:Kante is not a sitting DM he is an Arturo Vidal type of player who roams around the pitch snuffing out attacks with his interceptions and tackle, playing him as a lone DM doesn't suit him. If you watch yesterday it was Rabiot who stayed behind while Pogba and Kante pushed forward to close the central space. |

Bar the forced error Hummels had a decent game, the midfield pairing of Gundogan and Kroos offered no protection to the backline with Kimmich pushing forward to attack leaving Mbappe in a 1v1 against Ginter he did well to limit the penetrating run of Mbappe. For Germany to qualify they need to drop Muller/Havertz drop one of the CBs and revert to 4-2-3-1 with Werner or Volland as the FW they were missing a focal point in attack. |
Who was comparing Pogba with Kroos?? |
raumdeuter:Kimmich will have to play at 120% |
BlueAngel444:Pogba is the better player forget his attitude Pogba at Juve was a monster and in the last World he showed what he's capable of in the biggest of stages with the necessary support. |
raumdeuter:You are right the Germans lack physical presence in midfield, Kroos and Gundogan are not the type of players you play against the midfield pairing of Kante and Pogba. I would drop either of Havertz or Muller and include Neuhaus to balance the midfield, and also use Sane in the left half-space to run at Pavard who is not pact. |
Giroud presence in the team brought balance to that squad it allowed runners like Mbappe and Griezmann to thrive, he may not have been in goals but his physical presence played a role. In their first game against Australia in 2018 they couldn't get a hold of the game with a frontline of Dembele, Mbappe and Griezmann until they brought in Giroud and they switched tactics to going long and from then they were able to find their rhythm. |
