Wenger on Havertz: "I liked him and I was quite amazed how much trouble he had at the start to settle. He adjusted, adapted, he came back, he suffered, he spent his period on the bench and came back again. To me, he is a very promising player. I would bet on him for the future." |

I was just looking at Germany squad and I'm quite surprised why they aren't rated as tournament favorite, they have players who will give the favorites a run for their money. In defense I will pair Rudiger with Hummels or Ginter, Gosens and shift Kimmich to rb, pair Neuhauss with Goretzka, with either Havertz or Muller as the AM with Sane and Gnabry flanking Werner, I will put Neuer in goal. This team will be difficult to beat with the right preparation |

nihilistjnr: Who's fault is it that a professional striker only has one leg? Davo Suker scored about 6goals with his left foot out of over 100goals.
It's certainly not mine.
Dont try and justify your argument using Werner's limitation.
By the way, Werner attempted a couple shots on his left in that match, one of which was this peach. The other was the shot he blasted into the side netting.
You cant tell me that you dont expect a top striker to at least hit this shot. Werner shoots like someone who could only manage 2 goals in the league...oh wait. |

airmark: We can use Ziyech to do some smart business to get Haaland or Kane by adding money. It is too early to judge him, he has struggle to adapt no doubt but he's the player with the best vision in the team based on ratings and eye test. Injuries plagued his season and yet he scored some clutch goals during our run to FA and UCL finals, you need technical and elegant players in a team to produce moments of magic and you have one in Ziyech |

Amoto94: Kante best position is a box-to-box midfielder in a double-pivot system it is funny how some from the fans see it differently. Conte, Sarri, Ranieri and Tuchel all concur to this fact. I remember Ozil and Ramsey dragging him out of position when he played in a midfield 3 during Conte's first game vs Arsenal And he shone as a box-to-box midfielder in a midfield 2 |

Unlimited22: Airmark Nihilistjnr Ibime griffon and others, take a look at Lille defender Sven Botman.
Left footed, young and already a league champion. Good in the air and in the tackle, good positioning and fairly good passing. What say you? I haven't really watched him but we were linked with him in the past and with the qualities you just outlined I won't mind Chelsea going all out for him. I give it to you when it comes to identifying good defenders I remember when you advocated for Dias. Another player worth taking a look at is James Tarkowski of Burnley dude is good in the air, a good tackler of the ball, good positioning, passing is good, strong and he is a leader. |

hensben: Chelsea will regret if they dare sign Halaand, he is still a potential that will crumble in epl. Moreover, he can not score from nothing like Kane. You have started again later you will be angry when we bring out receipts, this was how Chelsea didnt go all out for Aguero and went for a struggling Torres that made us a laughing stock save for few occasions. Haaland records in the UCL at his age is a sign of what he can do. |

The board must not squander the opportunity this UCL presents they should carefully assemble a squad that's capable of challenging for top honors for the rest of the decade, get us Declan Rice, Haaland, Joules Kounde and Sancho. They should sell Barkley, Kovacic, Alonso, Emerson, Loftus-Cheek, Kennedy, Abraham and recall Gallagher, Guehi, Ampadu, Chalobah and Bring. L |

James? defensively he's dogged . . . offensively he's deadly and he's rugged/ We thought there was a lot of pounds in his jersey, the way he put Sterling in his pocket/
Silva got the gold, he was not bothered in defence, ask Wurld cos he saw no trouble/ . . till Foden wrestled him like its Royal Rumble/
Cesar gave a true captain's performance, kept his promise to Pep Guardiola/ . . cos he really 'ran himself to the ground' like he was an earth controller/
Rudiger kept up to the game cos the dudes strong/ And he was rock solid hands down cos he didn't put a foot wrong/
Brilliant defensive play from Ben, he's never being more brighter/ He's performance ll make you lounge, and Chill well, with a bottle of Budweiser/
He did nothing wrong in the game and his legwork was right/ Jorginho got the defence and midfield 'Linked in' . . no reference to the 'job networking site'/
Disregard your 'sound system', cos Man of the match Kante is the 'real player'/ Interceptions after interceptions, placing blocks after another, that we almost mistook him for a bricklayer/
With Mount's brilliant tracking back and work rate . . he gave his best and proved himself/ . . maybe he no go uni sef . . but he gave an assist . . . more. . like UNICEF/
Havertz had us shouting "Kai" at the bar like Hausa traders/ . . We bought no drinks, yet he still served the opener like bar waiters/
The misses from Wene Mighty hurt us/ . . but pulling Dias away for Harvertz goal was Too cool . . no reference to Thomas/
OK bye Jorginho got the defence and midfield 'Linked in' . . no reference to the 'job networking site' Nice wordplay |

Congratulations to the team. I wish to humbly accept my L for advocating for the sale of Kanté man was a beast despite his fitness concern. Havertz and Mount proved their class when it mattered most, Werner despite his profligacy in front of goal his runs were menacing and one of such created the space for Havertz goal. Rudiger showed that you need more than skills alone to win a final. I'm happy for Silva, Azpi, Giroud and the coach. As for Pep he goofed by resting Fernandinho and Cancelo for Sterling and Zinchenko because the two offers more in term of team balance, also playing without a 9 alows the defenders to sit deep and the midfielders to close the center of the pitch. Im happy that Pep decided to tinker with his squad which Tuchel neutralised effectively. |
