airmark:I don't know what Lampard sees in him that others are not seeing, he lacks recovery pace and the way we are setup under Lampard pace is a requirement for fb position, his positioning is poor and his one-on-one defending against half-decent wingers is poor. I hope we don't end up with a disaster in his signing if/when completed, though I prefer to be wrong in my assessment of him |
donjazet:Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka they're young and their partnership works well so staying isn't good for Thiago |
Since Arsenal last reached the UCL semi-finals in April 2009, RB Leipzig has formed as a club, reached the Bundesliga from the regional leagues and now qualified for the UCL semi-finals. Tough |
Ibime:Bayern or City will stop if they manage to get past PSG that's coached by a German versed in Liepzig style of play in Thomas Tuchel, PSG have the firepower to edge past Liepzig too. |
I'm a fan of Julian Nagelsmann guy knows how to attack and defend as well, he is the heir to Jurgen Klopp's dynasty. |
Segedinho accept my condolences to you and your family. May God replace with that which is better |
nihilistjnr:I will suggest you read up "The Wahabbi Myth" and some literatures on how the first Saudi State came about. You're in the UK and probably London I will advise you to visit Speakers Corner whenever time permits you meet brother Shamsi and he will tell you more on this. |
donjazet:You have already chosen your truth as it has always been the case with you whenever you are involved in a discussion you have least knowledge of, left for me I wouldn't have continued this discussion with you but clarification is needed for the silent observers who may be interested. In every debate actions and inactions ought to be discussed in their contextual forms to avoid distortion of terms and historical facts. As Muslims our sources are: Quran, authentically reported ahaadeeth and sometimes narrations from the people of book ( Jews and Christians) and there is a science of Islam from the sciences known as tafsir meaning exegesis which put into proper context the reason of a Quranic verse or hadeeth. Did Prophet Muhammad fought wars? Yes. Was he a mass murderer as you and some have categorically stated? No. Islam during the time of Prophet Muhammad began as a strange religion and early Muslims were persecuted by the idolators of Mecca some of them who are uncles of his, the Prophet was initially protected by his Uncle but his early followers suffered and from the first to be martyred was Summayah a woman. He was called all sorts of things and when the suffering became too much Allah commanded he and his followers to migrate to a safe place to practice their faith, at first some of his companions travelled to the kingdom of Abyssinia to seek refuge with a Christian king known as Negus. Later he and some other companions migrated to Medina when there was a plot to assassinate him by the ruling class of Mecca. On arriving at Medina he collaborated with the Muslims in Medina and Jews to establish a new state to safeguard their religion and worldly affairs, the idolators chased after the Muslims whilst they're in different land then a call for defensive warfare was proclaimed to safeguard their religion and state the first battle was called Badr, other battles were fought like Uhud, Khandaq, Tabouk, Yammammah etc of these some are offensive to serve as deterrent. There were rules of engagement and from them are you don't kill noncombatants, women, children, no burning of houses, cutting down of trees, granting asylum to those who seek it. All I have mentioned can be found in the books of tafsir (check Tafsir ibn Kathir Tafsir of AbdulRahman bin Nasir as-Sa'di, and that of Shaykh Muhammad bin Amman al-Shinqitee), Sahih Bukhari and Muslim among other sources. So it is inaccurate to call him a mass murderer when the facts putting into proper context states otherwise On the issue of his marriage the link I posted in my second reply to you is sufficient to answer your question. |
donjazet:There is an issue that leads to the oath swearing thing |
donjazet:What answer? |
airmark:On the bolded you're also guilty of going personal sometimes when it is not necessary to do so |
donjazet:http://www.sunnah.tv/video/watch.cfm?v=ukcvnk "History makes it clear however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically absurd myths that historians have ever repeated." --De Lacy O'Leary, ISLAM AT THE CROSSROADS, London, 1923, p. 8. https://www.islaam.ca/index.php/misconceptions/misinterpretations/307-what-they-say-about-islam-the-qur-an-and-muhammad http://www.answering-extremism.com/ae/articles.aspx https://www.dar-alifta.org/Foreign/ViewArticle.aspx?ID=144 The above are links to answer your queries |

DissTroy:There are lines you don't cross even in countries where freedom of speech is a given, you don't go about using homophobic slurs all in the name of trolling, Richard Keys and Andy Gray lost their jobs for using the word Holocaust wrongly and sexist language I think, recently a European court ruled that abusing the Prophet of Islam is a crime or so, you don't use racist remark too. So stop telling me that there are no rules in football banter when the reverse is actually the case. Stop supporting something that's bad and hiding under anger management for every action there is equal and opposite reaction. |
hoopLA:You hardly contribute anything meaningful on this thread in other days unlike others your life must be miserable offline and you're so uncultured sorry to say but try and fix your miserable life. This is a friendly advice |
hoopLA:This is far-reaching and overstretch of bants, know when to draw the line please. I take an exception to your offensive drivel |
raumdeuter:Did Pep failed at Bayern Munich by not winning the ultimate prize of European football in UCL with the resources at his disposal and the time he was given? |
“We all know how brilliant Hazard can be, we all know the difference he can make to a football team,” the former Chelsea forward told talkSPORT. "But he didn’t take the move to Madrid seriously, and he’s paid for it this season. “He turned up overweight, he’s been playing catch-up, he’s getting niggly injuries. Watching him last night was like watching a completely different player. “Kyle Walker must’ve been thinking, ‘Is this the same player I faced at Chelsea?’ “He’s a brilliant player, but he’s paid the price for turning up at Madrid for a big fee and not taking it seriously. “He does switch off every now and again. As good and as great as he can be, he does down tools every so often.” Tony Cascarino |
BREAKING - Juventus has sacked Maurizio Sarri. Official statement soon. They'll go for a new manager Source: Fabrizio Romano |
Let thine enemies be shamed tonite |
ShitStain:Chris Wilder should win it because of what he's achieved with Sheffield this season nobody gave them a chance but he ensured a top-half finish for the Blades |
Oasis007:Werey ![]() |
Chelsea should consider Werder Bremen Jiri Pavlenka he's tall, a shotstopper and has a decent pass on him and he will not cost much. |
hensben:Schürrle did fine in his first season it was Salmonella that detailed him during the second one, as for Gnabry he was an upcoming player who wasn't trusted by his managers hence his poor form during his EPL days. This isn't a fair assessment, Thomas Hitzspelger played well, Klinsmann and Ballack too. Even Emre Can was playing well before he moved to Juventus |
NinjaMetahuman:UCL is a determinant because there you meet quality opposition most often than not and his performance in the competition is evident of his overall quality. I'm not sold on Oblak because he remain untested in highline defensive setup being a goalkeeper in a team that plays low-block requires different skillset and the way ATM is set up has aided him. He's short for a goalkeeper and his passing is not that good, slow to come off his line. He is a good shotstopper but I'm skeptical of his suitability to our current style of play. |
https://mobile.twitter.com/nomifooty/status/1287859725934239745 The best way to analyze a GK's shot stopping ability is to use 'Post Shot xGA'. Post Shot xGA takes into account the quality of the shot, the speed, placement and height to see if the GK has performed better or worse than an average GK. Onana has been no.1 out of the 32 UCL GKs Do follow the thread NinjaMetahuman: |

In other news Sarri has won Scudetto with Juventus in his first season at the club. Put some respect in the guy's name please and appreciate his work |
gensteejay:The reason why I brought it up was the fact that you mentioned sometime ago that billionaires shouldn't exist or so and some of the reasons you gave during the debate are captured in the book. |
