Alas, innocent and ignorant people were the sacrificial lambs for the political ambitions of some selected few. It has always been a political movement disguised as a police reform agenda and masses were exploited for this end goal. The President should have been proactive and nip this ensuing crisis in the board he played into the hands of the detractors by not being decisive enough in critical time. |
Most uprisings started as socio-economic agitation then they move into a full-blown political crises just like Markov-Chain they will transition into an ethnoreligious strife. History bears witness to this phenomenon and what fuels these infernos is the lack of common Sense to not let emotions override critical thinking in pressing for demands diplomatically |
Rivers of Anguish Untold hardship unleashed upon layers of untold hardship, Consciousness betrayed and anarchy ensued, Trust disappeared and violence erupts Monuments destroyed and river of anguish overflowed its bank Bodies lie prostrate and mothers couldn't believe |
TJ go and sleep the weather is hot. We shouldn't rush people to their own destruction by cheering them on the sidelines as they scuttle peace and stability just to get at our perceived enemies cloaked under the guise of activism. Nigeria is a delicate country with many seeking its destabilization from within and without you may support protests for the right reasons but how do distinguish those who are out for the wrong reasons? We all want good for the country but how many people intended good but never reach it due to incorrect methodology in planning and execution? |
izzou:Trekking is good for healthy living and nation |
Ibimus na d plural of Ibime according to universal history of the universe compiled by Sean Okafor and Son Enterprise Limited. On a side note you guys should calm down and desist from this dick measuring contest let's learn to respect each other because we don't know who is who and your helper may be here but you may unknowingly disrespect him or her. Peace Out |
Only an ignoramus will claim that sodomy doesn't affect the well-being of the society, it destroys the family system which is a prerequisite for any progressive society also their lifestyle alongside those who engage indiscriminate sex with women who aren't their legal wives poses a great risk to health systems globally due to STDs and STIs. No one is born a sodomist it's environment that influences such behavior Also those who are aggressively pushing for lowering age of consent are those engaged in pederasty in Western countries. |
nihilistjnr:With over 60m warchest what do you expect? |
Now they've managed to smuggle sodomy into the demands. Let me use their words against them, werey dey disguise.#EndSARS Ibime you're a wicked uncle I see what you did there. |
BlueAngel444:Conflating a pandemic induced restriction and protests blocking people's right of way is pure lack of understanding of the issue. Name one successful Revolution? |
gensteejay:Just as Eminem said, I believe people do change only for the worse, people do change via certain exposures and ruling out the possibility of Nigerians starting a revolution and seeing it true is kinda naive. It only takes one or two missteps for things to spiral out of control then the unexpected happens. So, it's imperative to send a cautionary tale. |
For those in favour of revolution, have a look. The French Revolution turned into nightmare as Napoleon hijacked it and plunged Europe into internecine wars The Bolshevik revolution in Russia ushered in a murderous communist regime The Serbian Revolution of 1914 plunged the world into a war The Revolution of 1966 plunged Nigeria into civil war that we are yet to recover from decades later The Lebanon revolution of the 70s plunged the country a 15year civil war and its effect still felt till today The Iranian revolution ushered in a pariah State in Mideast The Iraqi revolution led to the unleashing of daesh in Levant and Iraq Libyan revolution led to endless bloodletting and bloodbath in Libya and the effects are very much obvious The Syrian revolution created a refugees crisis and other humanitarian catastrophe Call me a coward or a government lackey revolution doesn't always produce the goods and even when it does they're miniscule compared to the harms

vicot:The guy analysis was brilliant from start to finish, I spent almost an hour reading it before retiring to bed yesterday. Tactical flexibility will be required of Lampard with the caliber of players at his disposal I will expect him to alternate between a 1-4-2-3-1 and 1-4-3-3(with its variants) formations this season to get |

BlueRayDick:Standards have dropped beyond unimaginable levels that we now develop recency bias when judging present and past players. Cahill will do numbers on Dijk as a defender even Shawcross |
BlueRayDick:That was when men were defending with everything they got and getting nominated for best CBs not what's obtainable today that a traffic warden is hailed as the heir to Baresi and Stam |
BlueRayDick:Elder have I said something wrong? |
Greatihex:You are welcome |
iamoyindamola:Yes. I think it was after this game that medics rules were changed in EPL as there wasn't a standby paramedics to handle serious injury before a player leaves the pitch for hospital |
Greatihex:Stick to shouting up Chelsea or posting Sunday sermons |
ON THIS DAY: In 2006, John Terry was forced to go in goal for Chelsea as both Petr Čech and Carlo Cudicini picked up injuries vs. Reading. Captain. Leader. 'Keeper. |
Chelsea attackers under Ancelotti- Drogba 39 goals 14 assists Lampard 27 goals 18 assists Malouda 15 goals 15 assists Anelka 17 goals 11 assists Kalou 12 goals 8 assists |
donjazet:People protested in Kaduna and there was another that was to be organized in Minna but the convener was allegedly whisked away by DSS operatives, there was another that was to be held in Lokoja my state capital but I don't know what happened to that. When Arewa Youths Council sent out a memo asking the government not to end SARS it was northerners who refuted the organization and dissociated themselves from the organization. There are those against EndSARS protests and there are those for it in both regions making this a case of North/South dichotomy is plain mischief making. There are genuine concern from Northerners about the general insecurity of the country and efforts are being made to solve the crisis holistically, to discredit the efforts based on the fact that there's no widespread protests is callous. |
Go for the state government job as it guarantees job security and flexibility |
donjazet:You are wrong to assume that it was a one-sided protests and demonstrations as the calls were made across the divide, an aide to Gov. Ganduje has allegedly been relieved of his duty by his boss for his unsavoury remarks against the President, also the likes of Gimba Kakanda, Kadaria Ahmed, Bello el-Rufai, Ahmed Musa, Shehu Sanni, Bulama Bukarti, among others joined in the online protests. I personally don't subscribe to the idea of protests and demonstrations but others joined in the protests |
Rules that are only made for the poor to keep them suppressed while the rich enjoy life as they please. This religion is a danger to mental health. It needs total reform.
Rules are not meant for the poor only that we have politicians nowadays who choose to implement whatever part of the law favours their personal ambition doesn't make it a law/rule for the poor. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said the nation before us were destroyed because they indulged in selective justice that is if the poor and weak amongst them did something he/she will be punished but the reverse is the case for the strong and powerful, then he swore that if his daughter stole something he'll caught of her hand. This is Islam |
We shouldn't abolish the SARS unit of the Police as advocated by some rather we should train and set clear guidelines on how they should be operating, any one of them found violating the codes of conduct should be meant to face the law. Those calling for outright ban are doing so in error because their preferred solution to the problem will only exacerbate the problem of criminality and insecurity the more. Larride nice contribution |
Liverpool are the first reigning English top-flight champions to ship seven goals in a league match since Arsenal against Sunderland in September 1953. If they ever compare Terry with that traffic warden at Melwood Park again |
Where is that Niki wetin again? |
