I am so sorry about your denial. What school and program were you going for?

Thanks
kcosam:

So sorry bro, it's rather unfortunate after 11 months of waiting, God dey ooo! Just address the VO's concerns and reapply, then believe God to get it this time.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by amozag2018: 10:33pm On May 01, 2019
This is my first application and I did not submit any SOP do you think that might be the problem?
makano:
Its well.. When its ready u can share it here, so we can put heads together to address the VOs concerns... Is this ur first application tho?..
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by amozag2018: 6:47pm On May 01, 2019
I already requested for my GCMS notes about 6 days ago before getting this denial today. Yes, my eligibility started before the refusal and I did upfront medicals too.
makano:
Wooow, this peeps are heartless tho, after 11 months they can still refuse someone TRV.. I feel ur pain tho.. I will suggest as usual to request for ur GCMS note, as it implies, the reason for ur refusal was the almighty Purpose of Visit meaning you didn't really convince them that you were a genuine student that wants to study in Canada and return to ur home country.. So request for ur GCMS note and see the real reason why u were refused.. I feel for you bro cos my application is 10 months too, waiting that long to get refused can be so heartbreaking, but dont give up bro re-apply again and u will get it.. But meanwhile wanna ask some questions, Did ur Eligibility review start before the refusal? Did u do upfront medicals for ur app? will appreciate ur response.. So please follow what i have sent earlier and get back to us when ur GCMS note is ready... Peace

I finally got a response from CIC and it was a denial after 11 months of waiting. Please how can I tackle the reason below:

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

Sincerely,

I have not been given a date for the interview and they have not made a final decision concerning my application yet. Since I am resuming September 2019, maybe they are taking their time. My application is already 42 weeks old Thank you for checking though...
Austacus:

Sir, please if you can see this... What's the outcome from the interview?
Have they called you for the interview?
Have they made the final decision in your application?

I Am looking forward to hearing from you sir. But if it's privy or confidential, never mind to write back.

Thanks

For application "History", it is ascending (E.g 1, 2, 3....14, 15) while for the "Notes" in the GCMS you read in descending order (E.g 15, 14, 13, 12.....3, 2, 1)
sleekysoft:
Ok sir

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by amozag2018: 1:42pm On Dec 27, 2018
@ sleekysoft that is not true and what you are saying does not make sense. So if you are reading from 20 to 1 you are saying after "Failing" eligibility review in "application 4" he was then sent a medical request in "application 1" does this make sense to you.

I am saying yes at the bolded in your quote because your criminality is the background check that is ongoing (Australia, USA, and New Zealand are some of the countries they are checking if you have any criminal record in the different countries). See "Activity" 1-28 in your GCMS notes it shows the different things that are checked.

However, you have the right to your own opinion so you can believe what you want.

sleekysoft:
Sir I am not suppose to comment but had to.. when reading application you read it from 20 to 1, the first things you see is the recent activity in your app, which the last activity you see like activity 20 is the previous activities Sir).. you can check the criminality section and see where it says new value, old value, status are yiu saying the application 6 which has ciminality show passed and application 7 showed in progress

His medicals doesn’t have issue.. he knows why his application was sent for secondary review and I have advised in what to do hopefully to remedy it bro.. mine was sent for secondary review and I already knew before I got gcms note, got my gcms not and it confirmed it..

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by amozag2018: 12:34pm On Dec 27, 2018
@Henkubert
The First person that picked your application updated it has passed as shown in your Application 1

But in your GCMS screenshots, you did not show us Application 2. However, the 3rd time they picked your application you will see that your medical changed to "In progress" because they are checking it again (this is what took your application for secondary review) which was the reason your passport was not requested for after getting your medical request 21st of August and getting your Medical passed since August 27th by CIC.

Furthermore, during your Eligibility review, you can see it is showing as "Failed" in application 4 and later updated in application 5 as "Review Required".

This review is the cause of your delay... I believe your application will now be reviewed in Canada (In Ottawa/Vegreville or any other office as they deemed fit).

My Ten Cents

I believe you still stand a chance in getting your Visa if you can send them the following before they close your application:

1. An updated statement of account (make it a one year statement) + the receipt of the payment you made.

2. Any other document showing ties to Nigeria that you did not send before ( for me I submitted my Educational certificates, Wedding certificate, children birth certificates, my wife and children International passports, several awards won and other professional certificates recognize worldwide after sending this my eligibility changed to "recommend interview" when I saw my GCMS notes. I am just waiting for the date of the interview... my resumption date is September 2019)

Enjoy your day!

It was your medical result that gave them a sign of concern that was why your application went in for secondary review hence the reason you failed the eligibility review ... Also, the reason you were not sent the PPR after medical passed. If you can munch the part that has "History" in your GCMS note and paste it here (show application 1-5 in the screenshots ) or check if your eligibility has a new value then I can guide you further from my little experience. The Payment of fees that they noted came from the secondary review (meaning another VO is checking your application, this was done in CPC Ottawa or CPC Vegreville which is in Alberta Canada). Sending your payment receipt can resolve this as earlier said ONLY IF YOUR ELIGIBILITY WAS UPDATED TO A NEW VALUE.
Henkubert:
Have an issue with my medical result How? Can you tell me exact place where you found out they have issues with my medical result in my GSCM. They requested for my medical and it says passed and I also received mail that they have received a satisfactory medical for me medical test.

I have sent them the receipt via CSE

From your GCMS notes, it appears they have an issue with your medical result (Have you done your medicals?). Secondly, you can send them the receipt of the fee you made through CSE form
Henkubert:
Good evening NL

I finally got my GCMS notes

In my GCMS note the London visa office stated that :

"Applicant to study at the University of Winnipeg from 2019/02/27 - 2020/05/15 has only $29,000 CAD ( SOA - with closing balance of 8.3million) UNCLE'S MONEY which will not be enough for the first year tuition & expenses.

I have already deposited $13,658 from my first year tuition fees which is 21,500 but discovered that i omited the part payment receip paid via flywire to the University of Winnipeg .

The $13,658 did not reflect in my GCMS note though it was stated in the application form I filled online that I have already deposited $13,658

My application status says OPEN : please what can I do before the Final Decision on my application my resumption is February 27.

New Brunswick Community College has a Confirmation Deposit and it is non refundable right? (non-refundable)
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by amozag2018: 4:00pm On Dec 06, 2018
I applied to the School and it took about 5 Months to get their admission letter and their international office delays in responding to emails. Also, you must send your transcript by post to them before you will be considered for admission. Their admission fee is $100 with another non-refundable registration fee of $97 once they finally give you the admission.

I applied to both schools at the same time and I got admission from New Brunswick Community College in 2 weeks while the other school College of the North Atlantic took almost forever. I have already applied for my Visa before they reached out to me (after 5 Months).

Yes, their tuition fee is very cheap but my advice to you is '' apply to several schools so you can use the other admission Letter if they delay you like me".
CuteCeo:

When you say time wasters, in what sense please? To get admission?. My course in not too popular and it is the cheapest school i found . Please enlighten me on what you meant.

I will advise you to apply to another school as a second option because those people are time wasters...
CuteCeo:
Hi guys. I have a BSc. SO I applied for Post graduate diploma at College of the North Atlantic, Newfoundland. The first-semester tuition is about $4000. I am self-sponsored. If I am not mistaken, having 10k cad after school fees in my account. Is that Ok?

Also, do I wait for admission before I apply for Visa?
Is there anyone here that has applied or in the same school? How long will it take for the admission to get approved?

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for the way that You have led us so far, and I ask Lord that You would undertake for the soon release of our visa, which is taking so long to go through the application and approval process.

Lord, we don’t understand the reason for the long delay, but trust that You will intervene in this matter, and allow the papers to be released in time for the proposed visit abroad.

Lord, You have promised that those that put their trust in You will not be disappointed. Hear my petition I pray, and allow the visa to be released speedily - and we will give You all the praise and all the glory, this I ask in Jesus name,
