rossniti: WHAT ABOUT THE TRILLIONS THE BRITISH STOLE FROM 1897 TO 1960?
WHY WAS NIGERIA STILL AN ''UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRY'' WITH NO POWER STATIONS, UNIVERSITIES, OR EXPRESSWAYS, AND AN ILLITERACY RATE OF 95% IN 1960 AT INDEPENDENCE, AFTER 70 YEARS OF UNINTERRUPTED BRITISH RULE?
WHAT DID THE BRITISH DO WITH THE TRILLIONS THEY MADE FROM EXPORTING OUR NATURAL RESOURCES?
WHO ARE THEY TO TALK ABOUT NIGERIAN CORRUPTION WHEN THEY ARE THE ORIGINAL THIEVES AND LOOTERS WHO HAVE STILL NOT RETURNED A PENNY THEY STOLE? You must be a Yoruba man |

This guys have reduced military to this level.. I dey shame ! You can't see british, UK, aussie army behave like this
Even SOUTH AFRICAN army don't behave like this. This is just too gross
It is even wrong for 4 civilians to beat a man... People would tell them to fight them one on one not many people fighting one man with a gun .. the fight isn't fair and level naaaa |

Through Nnachi, an Eastern Cross river group answered the call for help. They were known as the Akpa. These warriors and traders, may have had European guns which were new to the Aro territory. Being the Igbo allies, the Akpas were led by the royal Nnubi family. Osim and Akuma Nnubi led Akpa soldiers to help fight against the ruling household. Together with Igbo forces and rebels, they defeated the Obong Okon Ita forces (1690). During the final battles, Osim Nnubi was slain in Oror city state making it the capital of Arochukwu. In Obinkita the remaining Ibibio warriors became prisoners and were judged and that is why the city state is the holder of the Ikeji festival. But at the end of the war, Osim and Akakpokpo were dead. In order to honor Osim's legacy, his brother Akuma was crowned the first EzeAro (king). After his death, Nnachi's descendants took the throne starting with his first son Oke Nnachi. The Arochukwu kingdom, was founded https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aro-Ibibio_Wars |

comfokon: you're the one fooling yourself, just a simple google search would give the true story of what happened. by the way, a large percentage of the Ibibibo's remained and that's why their culture is still strong in those regions till date. There culture should be strong, the defeated peoole culture don't get wiped out like that... But the language of the conqueror would be at the top.... The victor imposes his language and culture on looser , the way the british imposes english on us Arochukwu is called(Okigbo great igbo ) read this Arochukwu is a small town located at the Southern end of Abia State in Nigeria. The Aros, as other Igbos, migrated from the Middle East to their present location in then Eastern Nigeria. You cannot mention Christopher Columbus who discovered America, without a short history of the Indians who owned the land. Also, in retrospect, the Aros came and won the land from the inhabitants, the Ibibios, after series of wars. These wars had a historic impact on the town. For instance, the leader of the Ibibio warriors who fought the war was captured and slain at Oro Village and this is why Oro became the chieftancy village. Amikpe Obinkita became the center where these defeated warriors were judged. This also is why all Aro villages assemble at Obinkita during the Ikeji festival. Any village that is not represented was fined by the entire Aro. Arochukwu, sometimes referred to as Arochuku, or Aro-Okigbo, (pronounced Aruchukwu) is the third largest city in Abia State (after Aba and Umuahia) in southeastern Nigeria and homeland of the Igbosubgroup, Aro people. It is composed of 19 villages with an overall leader called Eze Aro. Arochukwu is a principal historic town in Igboland. It was also one of the cities in the Southern protectorate conquered by the British colonial government. Several historic tourist sites exist in the city. The mystic Ibini Ukpabi shrine, the slave routes and other relics of the slave trade era are frequently visited by tourists. It is also in the food belt of Abia state where most of the staple foods are produced. http://igbohistory..com/2015/10/history-of-arochukwu.html?m=1 |

I watched the video on Instagram, the boy runs very fast that his mother tells the village people to chase after him and she is always with a rope to catch him. He doesn't like staying with humans, he is always in the jungle and people call him a monkey and jungle boy. Really a sad situation,,, I hope he finds help soon Odiegwu https://www./430714610456993/permalink/1709157079279400/ .

Some people will just open their mouth to spit out rubbish because of hatred. Those are warrant chiefs .. they are hutslers... comfokon: They never enslaved them, the way Igbo language is with different dialects, is the same with Ibibio but the whole see themselves an igbo. That was quite different in Ibibio, there is even a proverb that Ibibio doesn't recognise its own, that's why the oron and annang, even if they are from the Ibibio always see themselves to an extent different.
The Igbo's came to arochukwu as usual to do business, they saw there was rivalry between step sons and used that opportunity to take over the place with the cooperation of the rivalling step son, some of the Ibibio people stayed back and others left.
You guys are known for land grabbing, even the people claiming Igbo in Akwa Ibom are settlers, the entire azumini river was Ibibio land, if not for the creation of Nigeria, the entire Akwa Ibom would have been Igbo land, they would come as traders and later start fighting for power. It was the same style Jaja used to collect territories. It's so funny today that Bonny that was a popular trade place for the british and was known for enslaving Igbo people is today being claimed as an Igbo land. You guys could be so funny. same with Igala land. The history of Aro confederacy is there and we know that ibibio are migrants and we're defeated in Aro chased away .. that's why Aro is callers Okigbo (great igbo today ) go and ask around and stop fooling around |

didn't you check the front page where one of the northern traditional rulers visited Enugu governor? Anyways, visit varies, it could be assurance of something, maybe peace and progress of the Yorubas nation. I didn't see and I haven't seen any king in North, when I mean king I mean top notch kings visiting citizens You can't see these kings or even Oba of Benin go visiting people in Benin ... The people visit the king Well , maybe the yoruba kings have a different approach |

Only in Yoruba land I do see this .. I must be frank
It's only in Yoruba land that kings go visiting citizens ... The british queen don't go visiting david beckham or do the japanese king go visiting shinzu abbey, it is the other way round
You cannot see the obi of Onitsha, The Eze of Nri go visit individual
You can't see the Emir of Kano, Sultan of Sokoto go visit Jega or anyone ... It's the other way round
Well, I know that the sophisticated ones would come up with explanations though
I wait to read it ... Maybe I would learn |
