Jovie: No time naNa so |
Mine was not funny, but pathetic. There was this high heel i had even before i got married. my younger sister so much like that shoe but i told her i rather get her another than give her this particular shoe even though its being a while that i put it on. One sunday like that in the month of february i decided to rock this shoe to church. The cars are usually pack at a distance to the auditorium. Before i could take three steps, the heel pulled out from the shoe. I looked front and back, no where to get help. I just remove both shoes , na so i turn to cele -winner |
mabeni: wow! which part of an igala re you from? Am an igala tooOmala LG. Abejukolo ife |
I hate commenting on a thread like this because of APC&PDP E warriors. On a secound thought, hope this guy is not a DAN-DAUDU? We have them here in kaduna, but its just that most of them dont put on bra,you still see them on their trousers but they tie wrapper on it. someone wrote on this thread that she was sent a joke about a ibo man trying to escape from the hausa's dressed in female attire, last i check there was no religious crisis on the day we had that bomb blast, so what was he doing dressed that way. Both muslim and christain are in kawo and everyone dresses the way they want. But whosoever is doing this act of wickedness, God's judgement is coming speedily. |
mabeni: are u an igala?yea |
But in some other tradition,it is the husband and children that would be affected...like husband falling sick and children too.
I dont know about that. But in my area, it's the wife that would be affected, and that is better.Let the owner of the load carry her stuff. |
shejane: What part of Nigeria plskogi state |
Opiosko: Pls can u give some details abt the bolded. I think it's just superstitious scare tactics.Exactly what i thought until it happen to my cousin. I 've not being to my village for 13yrs now so i thought as a christain, couple with the fact that we were not raise up there it wont have an effect. Now concerning the bolded, this is how it works. When a married woman commits adultery, it will not have an effect on her immediately till she have sex with her own husband. The effects are; she immediately become sick and wont get better no matter the medication given to that individual, She will also begin to act like someone with a high fever. |
What do you hate about a tradition that forbids married women to commit adultery. Where i come from, no one needs to put the searchlight on you to be caught, as soon as you try that you either confess or face the repercusion. Between not only sleeping with a man, it also applies to collecting money from another man (exclusive of families and relatives) without telling your husband. |
It is true. I was in town when i heard of it. Oh God, end this evil |
I totally agree with your point number one @op. A man is always at his best during courtship. So whatever you see during courtship, is the best he can give to you. |
Hausa's rarely give birth out of wedlock. Dont get me wrong. its not that there are no promiscous ones, or all of them are virgins, but they know how they do it. Anyone that is a hausa or that grow up in the North knows about it. Hence, hausa's dont accept bastard. |
@ op, i know how you feel. My immediate younger brother fell in love or should i call it lust with one girl like that, he withdrew himself from family members/ friends. And because he is doing well, he felt he can stay on his own and needs no one. Let me advise you, stop talking about the girl but keep praying for him. At this juncture, you need to tell your parent. The prayers of parent are so effective. But op, hope its only the genotype and her attitude and not tribe? |
Ok. I'll do that and get back to you. Make I no purge o! ![]() Trust me, you wont |
The truth about people who dont listen or gives silent treatment is that they know it hurt their partner and that is why they keep doing it. My husband is guilty of this silent treatment, when we first got married, i will beg him for hours to talk to me and eat, it was so frustrating. But thank God, we are coping better now. |
R.I.P Branama queen. Its so sad |
I love dabino. I'll try planting one in Anambra and see if it will grow thou most people in the east don't like it because its too sugary. Try eating it with coconut and thank me later |
Thanks for your advice but the thing is we have separate room but when it's time to sleep he comes to my room. So practically, when he's angry, he'll decide to sleep in his room. Yes I have two kids. I've stopped cooking for him whenever is angry cos if I see d food there on the table, I get more heart broken. Please dont stop cooking for him, he can use that against you. |
what is 'efulefu'? Kilonjebe.in yorubaland it means a worthless or empty person, even a dog when sold has more worth than him but in your place what does it mean
same |
It is not right. Such a man is called an "efulefu" in my place. |
well said. bigfree]okay@op well done. I know someone that is not too good-looking, infact an average joe, but he manages to score with hot chicks. Why is that so? I have come to understand that points of attraction women look out for are hard to rationalize, they are aesthetic like a mona lisa painting. You ask your self sometimes, why is she with that guy? You don't understand. Ask her, why do you love that guy? She doesn't really know attraction for women is embedded in the irrational or intuitive part of the brain which has been passed from mother to daughter for generations. That is the selection of the most suitable male mate with. I don't women go about with a checklist in their purse to select a male. If she digs you, she digs you.
|
Abeg o, women should be careful of yoga and aerobics especially in the third trimester, if u're near your due date. during my second pregnancy, I was trying out one stooopid exercise my husband showed me in YouTube for pregnant women and my water broke. It was still two weeks to my delivery date, since no contractions at all, they had to induce, mehn..... Its an understatement to say I saw hell that night, six hours of pure hell.
you dont mean it. Noted |
The harmattan is just something else in Kaduna. it's getting harsh day by day. I dont know how to persuade my husband not to travel for five days, leaving me behind. ;( |
Simple. His head is swelling now that his pocket is jingling. It is one of 2 things: dump him or carry belle for him. Carry belle for him? That trick is outdated dude. Tell her something else. |
