Nigeriadondie:And the courage you have is moving to another country the people joined hands to build to what it is. Really sickening that you sit on a high horse and boast about a civilization that you didn't contribute anything to and even have the guts to tarnish where you came from. You are daft! if I were you, I'll bow my head in shame and never show my face on this thread again. You're a complete disgrace! |
erico2k2:Didn't you read what I posted? There's Settlers Colonialism and Then Exploitation Colonialism. All the countries above are all under the former |
Boss13:Exploitation colonialism is the national economic policy of conquering a country to exploit its population as labour and its natural resources as raw material. The practice of exploitation colonialism contrasts with settler colonialism, the policy of conquering a country to establish a branch of the metropole (motherland). A reason for which a country might practice exploitation colonialism is the immediate financial gain produced by the low-cost extraction of raw materials by means of a native people, usually administered by a colonial government. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exploitation_colonialism If you notice, colonised countries rich in resources are experiencing similar problems to ours. The world powers create a perpetual dependency that indirectly leads them creating policies that favour them and lead to our stunted growth and they would ensure that they would keep that cycle going round and round. |
timesup234:I feel like giving you a hug for this. If only people know how the US they love so much is partly responsible for the decay we're suffering today. I see you trying to educate people to realities of the US and world as a whole. They think they're smart, but they're very foolish. But don't talk yourself hoarse, leave them to continue swimming in their ignorance, experience they say is the best teacher. |
150k is a 150 piece of 1000 Naira notes. I wonder how can easily fit into a trouser pocket. Holes in is this story. |
justwise:So you mean to say people here can spend $200k to $1million for a passport. I doubt that very much. As I said earlier, it was merely a discussion thread to educate people on other immigration methods than the one they're used to. |
justwise:So you mean to say one cannot discuss immigration issues in the travel section of a forum. My Intent was not to seek clients but not make people aware of various immigration options. I don't believe nairaland is the place to source for the right Clientele that can purchase a passport. The thread was simply a discussion thread. |
@justwise. please why was the thread I created on Immigration property investment removed. It was created to answer questions on Immigration policies through property investment and business investments. It did not violate any rules and laws of the site. There was no business stated, neither was there a number or contact mentioned. You shouldn't go outside the bounds of your powers as a Moderator of this forum. @seun |
timmyblast:I'm engaged |
continentalceo:I wonder why you're raising dust over something that happened a long time ago. Even when you texted me to forgive you that you had a dream bla bla bla. I replied telling you that I harboured no ill feeling against you and that i have moved on with my life. And you still reached out earlier this year with some business opportunity for me and you said you were doing it more out of guilt. I still shot it down as I didn't feel you owed me anything. Nairaland used to be a place l vent because its an anonymous forum. No one knows me or you so I can cry out to strangers, get advice, pick myself up on move on. You say never depend on a woman or they'll table your story on Nairaland. I never robbed your dependence on me on your face while we were together. I was making very little, it was hard, but I never complained. I even heard that while I was at work scourging, you were screwing La'noms (my friend I was squatting) after you both get high from smoking weed from morning till night. You came here to dig up old wounds because you wanted to make your self feel better. Yeah I broke up with you because you were emotionally involved with someone else. The second you picked yourself and started earning a living you realised I wasn't good enough. I came to visit you in Amuwo Odofin when I closed for the year from law school. You told me you were breaking up with me because you called me 4 times the previous day and I didn't take the call. That I was cheating on you. I was shattered. I left for Abuja and you started calling. Some thing was off when we resumed the relationship. I told you to use my pic on your dp, something you used to do before without prompting, but you refused adamantly even when the relationship was hanging on the balance. I knew that moment that the other girl in the triangle meant a lot to you. You would rather hurt me than hurt her. That's why I let go. You're probably still with the same girl as we speak. A match made in heaven! P.S. This thread was started in October 2013 when we had our first break up which lasted less than 2 weeks. We finally ended things more than a full year later in Nov 2014. we even read this thread together when we got back together and laughed about it. |
mpowa:Lol. His name is Sujibomi and he happens to meet Sujimoto in Japan who mentored him. Sounds like a bullshit story. From what I could deduce over the years he gets his money through hype. How he does it is he gets his name out there, mingle with the right crowd, pays for glowing hyping interviews like the one above, writes proposals and presents to big money men who already seeing his name out there believes he has a rock solid brand. They invest into his projects and that automatically means he has more money to flaunt and pay interviewers for glowing articles and it goes round and round. He was busted a while ago for posting a picture of a tower he saw online as one of his constructions. |

PunterTim:Everyone knows that the Washington 'cabals' make the major decisions in the US government. Their major aim being to keep the country perpetually on top in the world chart by whatever means possible. They really don't mean well for the rest of us and anyone who thinks they are is a fool. Obama was just acting out a script so would Clinton, if she had won. My reason for preferring Trump is simply because he is really Formidable and has it in him to fight pre-established structures, the cabals and what not and make his mark. My admiration for Trump is that he isn't a hypocrite. If he hates Nigeria or Africa or wherever, he wouldn't pretend about it and you'll know from the get go. Unlike the past president that would pretend they have your interest at heart and would stab you when your back is turned. Trumps presidency is more in Nigeria's favour because they'd be minimal interference in our day to day politics and all those structures they've laid out that put us in constant chaos and turmoil may die a natural death in the event that Trump has a mind of his own and isn't controlled by the cabals. |
PaulIdu:Thank you my brother! You're really smart. This is what I've been saying from day 1! The US is Boko Haram and with trump there, the funding if Boko Haram will probably end. |

I thought I read somewhere that he didn't attend his father's funeral? |
insinuations and innuendos! Will you all please let Jonathan be for the love of God! The man at the mantle of affairs called Buhari clearly does not know what he's doing. He inherited a growing economy and in less than one year has lead Nigeria to recession. Is Buhari's the only government with a predecessor? Why this endless blame game? People trusted him to turn things around that's why he were voted in but he has lead us to that place Nigeria has never been before and he's there calling Jonathan. |
Living alone is awesome! Yeah it gets lonely sometimes but I'll rather that any day than putting up with roomies. |
The huge growth especially in the current petroleum market means that this company might actually have access to forex at the official rate. |
gabe:Okay, so if oil provides 70% of government funds, then are you saying that FIRS, Customs and all internally generated revenue provide just 30%. Do your research. When they talk 70%, they talk of Nigerian export. don't confuse yourself. And to talk of the government being unable to pay salaries, read the thread title again. The present economic woes is much bigger than oil. |
majekdom2:Money is investment and investment is money. SMEs can't thrive without loans and capital and without funds, how can the banks support these small institutions. No foreign will risk investing in a shaky economy. For them even, it's all about visible growth and profit and if they can't see that, they wouldn't come in. Recession is all about money. |
gabe:No, oil supplies 70% of Nigeria's foreign exchange not government revenue. There are numerous other sources of government revenue but it's all in small bits and percentages. Oil as a single source at 13% is still quite a lot. |
majekdom2:Where is there to look? trillions that would revive the economy is held under lock and key. Money is liquid and should be allowed to flow freely for the economy to be strong. |
shaddoww:You do know that our crude oil only raises about 13% of the country's revenue right? just 13%. So even if the crude oil market collapses, the economy should still survive. Let me break it down for you. The other 87% is sourced from FIRS, Customs, and 100s of other government bodies that have charges for every conceivable thing. Now, this 87% amounts to trillions of Naria which before the enactment of the TSA were monies paid to different banks everyday. Though these monies are technically government money, they were liquid and banks used them to transact businesses give out loans and make money circulate in general. Now with the emergence of TSA, these monies are just packed somewhere and therefore does not benefit the economy business wise. And we are talking trillions here. So yes, the TSA can and did lead the country to recession. |
mrkayusfit:Oh, so GEJ supervised massive stealing and looting. Probably what you bought which made you decide to vote in the present administration. What you should know however is that while GEJ is no saint, most of what was said to tarnish his government were mere propaganda. There is corruption in the present government, even more so than the previous. It wasn't a hard choice. You only let hate brought in by brainwashing and propaganda which made you make a decision I hope you'd regret for the rest of your lifetime. People with wisdom and commonsense saw through the propaganda and knew GEJ was the best choice! |
